I need to send a HUGE shout-out for Stevens' Sport Center (Midland, MI) and Steven's Cycle (Bay City, MI) If you are anywhere near Central Michigan and need something cycle related, these are the guys to call! On a recent trip over to MI and the Upper Peninsula, I developed an issue with the rear tire on my 1999 Honda Valkyrie and couldn't continue much further on it. After making a few calls to shops in the area, Bill @ Steven's Cycle was able to find a suitable tire in their stock. He then coordinated with their sister shop, Stevens' Sport Center, and arranged to have that tire delivered to the Midland location. Travis @ the Midland location had a technician available when I rolled in to get it installed. Their service technician, Joe Doucet, had me back on the road in short order. In all, we only lost about 2 hours of travel time. I couldn't thank these guys enough for their efforts on my behalf. Their collective actions allowed us to continue our 2,250 mi. journey with little interruption. Just wanted to spread the good word! read more

Ive walked several times through Stevens showroom in Midland with nobody in sales saying a word, or even a greeting. The service department was worse, they acted like it was a big imposition to get my Honda worked on....they wouldn't give me an appointment and said I had to drop it off for a minimum of two weeks, and said their oil changes had more priority than my work. You might be OK if buying a Polaris....but it seems Honda is not a priority for them at all. Central Motorsports in Mt Pleasant was a huge improvement in customer service and will get any future business. read more

Worst service department ever! I took my Ski-Doo snowmobile to them last winter (Jan 20)because of a no spark issue in early winter. It took them all winter to get around to replacing the flywheel and stator. I never got to ride it they took so long. When I got it home I drained the fuel and put it away for the summer. Fast forward to Feb of 21. Got it out for the winter, put in fresh gas, drove 18 miles and it dies in the middle of Higgins Lake. I call the service department and told them what happened and they said they were 5 weeks backed up, and their labor warranty is only good for 30 days anyway. The service writer I talked to told me to try fresh gas and new plugs! I decided to tackle the repair myself. After an hour of disassembly I find that they NEVER TIGHTENED THE BOLTS ON THE STATOR! I TOOK THEM OFF WITH MY FINGERS. They left the stator so loose it hit the flywheel and shorted out. I don't recommend anyone take anything there for repair unless you want to do it again yourself later. I'll never spend 10 cents there again as long as I live. read more

Yamaha dealer doesnt stock a tire for my yamaha and the only tire that fits on the rim he charged $190 fir a $90 tire. AND THEN HE CHARGED ANOTHER 25 TO MOUNT IT WHEN I TOOK THE WHEEL OFF AND CARRIED IT IN.. they said "we don't mount tires, the company next door does" what kind of dealer/shop sells tires but won't mount them?? They wanted $55 to mount the tire they sold me if they had to take the wheel off the bike. ASSHOLES read more
