First impression you get when you walk into this place is that it's a local bar. However, it's more of a restaurant or café inside. You can actually see the chef cooking if you're near the bar or the entrance. The place appeared to be very clean. It's kind of an older bar however it was clean and appeared to be freshly painted in the new section next-door, which is now part of this restaurant. Our waitress was a gal that I've seen before that's from my town and she is very friendly and very good at her job. Her appearance was meet clean and she is a good waitress. She explained the menu a little bit and we ordered a bagel sandwich which came with hashbrowns and the corned beef bay breakfast. The corned beef breakfast was literally two biscuits with poached eggs, corn, beef, cheese, and sour cream. It also was topped with hollandaise sauce Actually look pretty good. The taste was totally unexpected and amazing. Their hashbrowns appear to be freshly made from the kitchen and not frozen. They were lightly salted and very good. The bagel was huge and had plenty of Canadian bacon, egg, and cheese. Once again, the sandwich was amazing! Not only did the food present itself beautifully for my pictures, it also tasted great. As for the price, slightly higher than many places, we have eaten breakfast at in recent weeks, however not much higher. Maybe average a buck or two higher than the competition. Well worth it though! I love breakfast and we only just learned about this gem over Valentines weekend. Good potatoes and a cup of coffee were steering the conversation. Gotta say, this was the best breakfast i may have had prepared for me. We each had a skillet. I went for the black bean one. With the house potatoes. I cleaned my plate! Excellent cup of coffee. Fantastic mimosa. We got to try a Swedish pancake and i gotta say, next visit is going to be a tough decision. Super friendly and personable staff. Looking forward to many more meals. Amazing food and even better fresh margaritas. I've tried their tacos to go, which were delicious, but this time we dined on their patio. The cucumber jalapeño is one of the best margaritas I've had. Perfect amount of spice, sweetness, and refreshment! I also tried the hibiscus margarita which is on the sweeter side. For my entree I got the black and blue salad, which was a nice big portion with delicious steak and jumbo shrimp. My boyfriend's fish fry was also delicious with fresh lightly battered fish. From the minute to walk in you are greeted by not one, but several members of the staff welcoming you in with a smile . They get you seated in no time. Jaimie is probably the biggest star of the show. His great energy and happy personality makes your experience even more enjoyable. We were in Lake Geneva for two nights and we ate here three times . Once for dinner and twice for breakfast. Their Swedish pancakes are a must have for bfast . For dinner we ordered Carne Asada, which was a very nicely sized portion , well cooked and great flavor. We also ordered the vegetarian enchilada which had plenty of fresh cooked vegetables and great flavor . Wow just went to this place! How bad can you get! Well not much worst! Sat outside had to go in and ask for service! Ordered a Denver Omelette which had Ham in it and ordered Basted or Fried eggs! Yep didn't get the Denver omelette and got poached eggs. The piece of Canadian Bacon was the size of a silver dollar maybe! Ask for toast did t get that either! They had to send out the rude hostess to ask what the problem was and when we told her she argued with us on how tk make Fried eggs and that the omelette was a veggie and it was more expensive than the Denver! WTF? Really. We ordered a Denver we wanted a Denver. Fried eggs are NOT IN WATER! So I got some horrible scrambled instead that were tasteless and watery! Place is the BEST! The shrimp ceviche tostada with one of their signature margaritas is outstanding and authentic. The pork tacos are killer and for a true outside the box try their wings. Incredibly good! I think best wings in the area. Could not believe how good they were. Now for Breakfast try the Bloody Mary's they are best in the area. The signature TOMS (yes I named it) meat lover skillet with true hash browns with two eggs over easy smothered in biscuit gravy is the bomb.
