We had to use a medical transport service for my mother for a non-emergency medical appointment…read more We contacted Express Care Mobility four business days in advance to schedule service with them, they were easy to schedule with; when we explained she couldn't walk and needed to be brought down steps, they said it wouldn't be a problem, they would send two people to help her. Oh, my, we were very pleased. They sent two vehicles and showed up on time. They two men came into her house, quickly assessed the safest way to bring her down the steps and gently brought her out. They were kind, professional, and, in the era of Covid-19, extremely attentive the safety protocols. My mother was nervous about going down the steps in a wheelchair, they explained to her what they were doing as they went down each step, by the time they reached the bottom step, she was calm. The ride to the doctor's office was smooth and quick, the driver was not distracted and drove safely. At the doctor's office the driver offered to wheel her in but we said could do that. When her appointment was nearing the end, we called back for her return ride home and they were back in about fifteen minutes. Two people brought her back into her house and helped her back to her bed. Again, totally professional, but equally important, totally caring. If we have to do a medical transport again, we will definitely use Express Care Mobility. Not only are they professional in their service, their equipment and vehicles are extremely clean and well maintained. Care may be their middle name but it's obvious in everything they do. We give five stars because they are worth that and more.

They provide 24 hour care that is reliable, trained, and highly responsible. They arrange medical appointments, transport, and accompany my sister to all of her visits, obtain and monitor her medications. They even do her food shopping, cooking, feeding and clean up. They have seen her through emergencies, covid, diabetes, and kept her healthy and safe. With all that is wrong with her, they have taken such good care of her she has never even had a bedsore, or diabetic wound. Management is extremely helpful in setting up individual care routines and selecting caregivers who will mesh well with the client. My sister enjoys her caregivers, and many have become like family over the years. If you need part time assistance, help with your meds or feeding, bathing, dressing, Advantage can help you with that as well. There just aren't enough accolades I can bestow here! They have literally enabled my sister to live another decade because she would have died in that nursing home! Now she is happy, healthy, and independent. And you know what? So am I, because Advantage is there doing the difficult job of caregiving. I have peace of mind, and can go to bed each night knowing my sister is just fine!

Pick up time was at 11:30 & Jill (the driver) was waiting in the hallway for her partner to arrive to transport this patient. The patient expressed resistance to go and I was providing emotional support when Jill came in the room and in an unfriendly manner loudly verbalized "either this patient is going to go or they aren't but I am on a short leash and have other patients to go get, I can't sit here and wait". I expressed that it was 11:37AM (7 minutes after pickup time) and totally inappropriate to behave in this way in front of the patient. I was trying to deescalate this patient and make them comfortable, and she was riling them up. Needless to say her partner didn't arrive until the patient was already on the gurney, so all of the comments were unnecessary -causing stress on both the patient and medical staff. Totally unprofessional and inappropriate. My patient even told her she needed to calm down. Patients shouldn't have to tell medical transports how to behave. I called to report this behavior to the manager. Jill is both the manager and the owner. My complaint fell on deaf ears as she continued to defend herself. I would not recommend this company to anyone.

Senior Resource Advisors took wonderful care of an aging aunt who resided at a senior facility. You might ask why this additional layer of help? The answer is simple. The facility provided a very nice place to live,, good food, a set of activities to help residents. SRA provided daily contact, took her shopping, to doctors appointments, helped her with personal needs such as cleaning clothes. SRA took a tremendous burden of care off family members and was a lasting friend forr my aunt. During the last weeks of her life, SRA really showed value, takinG her to thE hospital, being there when she needed help and support, gave a loving hand to help an aging lady comfort in the last days of her life. Simply priceless. If youre at a distance, or not able to dedicate sufficient time yourself, SRA fills the gap.

It's not an exaggeration to say that in one of the most difficult periods of my adult life, they provided me and my elderly father with a sense of caring and support that transcends normal business operations. Our story in short: I was not raised with my biological/birth father, but toward the last phase of his life, I became responsible for helping coordinate his care, housing and finances. Not only did I live 11 hours away, but the whole idea of suddenly making critical decisions for him, with no previously established relationship on that level and no siblings or significant others to share the burden, was hard to imagine. When a loved one's mental and physical health begin to decline, it's difficult under normal circumstances, let alone inserting yourself into their life as their advocate when there is no one else. Luckily, there was someone else. There was a whole team of them. Senior Resource Advisors (SRA) had been connected through a referral with both my father and the facility where he was living. They reached out to me to begin the process of organizing a complete care plan that dealt with everything from medical appointments to automated bill payments and everything in between. Open and frequent lines of communication were established and I never felt like there was a day or time that I couldn't ask for clarification or help with any issue. And of course...there were plenty! Let me take a moment to mention that Urmi Boyd, President of SRA is a remarkable and beautiful human being who summoned incredible patience and determination to make this whole thing work. Medical, legal, financial and even social/emotional issues were handled by her with the type of care that we all want for our parents (and hopefully someday for ourselves) and without her personal approach, this situation would have rapidly deteriorated. Urmi was firm when needed, and compassionate throughout. In our age of automation and digital solutions, there is no substitute for a smart, sensitive person who has the ability to weigh the situation and make a timely and thoughtful recommendation. That was Urmi. My father passed away on October 12th. Before he died, we had worked with Urmi and her staff to manage his pain medication through the hospice nurse. Knowing his wishes, we planned together to make sure he was comfortable and aware enough to spend a final afternoon visiting my son, who traveled with me to see his grandfather. My father proudly introduced him to the staff of the care facility, then summoned the strength to walk us to the door and hug us goodbye. It was the last time we saw him. Every family's situation is unique to them, as they experience it. But there is enough commonality in these important life moments, that having someone with experience and skill can make a world of difference. For me and my father, that was Senior Resource Advisors and I cannot recommend them highly enough.
