I received 4 quotes for stone installation for our kitchen renovation. This included waterfall and backsplashes (including one tall panel up the wall). Leo was very easy to communicate with and prompt with their quote. The breakdown: - 1 company was at $14.5K. - 2 companies were at $11-12K. - BAME was at $9K. We selected them to do the work and are happy with the job they did. Importantly, Leo is very detailed oriented and we were allowed to come in person to view the templates and approve of the graining. He spent quite a bit of time explaining the layout to us. There were only 2 minor issues: - A fabrication issue that left a small gap with the floor. This was an understandable mistake, because the floor was different heights, but I forgot to point this out. Unfortunately this could not be fixed because the stone was already cut. - Communication could have been better. Leo prefers text, but sometimes takes a while to respond. I think this is because he is very busy, but I think they would benefit from having an office assistant / scheduler. read more

We recently replaced our old tile counter tops with granite. Leo and his team exceeded expectations. Leo and Manny did a fabulous job fabricating and installing our new kitchen countertops. We were referred to them by a stone store who gave us several referrals, but when we told them we were considering porcelain, they said that in that case, we should really only consider these guys. That said a lot to us about their skill level, as we had heard stories of fabricators not doing a great job with porcelain installation. We actually ended up going with quartz, and getting four estimates. We had a really good feeling from meeting with Manny and communicating with Leo (they are SO nice and so easy to reach and so laid back!) and were pretty much going to go with them either way, but their estimate also came in well below the other companies. I was in a pinch as my countertop installer fell through at the last minute. I scrambled to find an installer with multiple people not returning the call, and some companies try.ing to exorbitant amount of money. I contacted Leo at Bay Area Marble Experts and he promptly responded my to my phone call and said he would be able to do the install for me. My project was fairly extensive as it was 5 large slabs for a 12 feet by 4 feet island, surrounding wall countertops, slabs for back wall splash including a large center one from countertop to ceiling for my 48inch hood. Also he installed 2 double bathroom vanities and 1 single vanity. I was only down to one usable sink so we had to stagger the install in order for us to have a functional sinks and Leo came on 3 separate days to facilitate this.
