Before choosing a company, I compared several TV mounting businesses on both Yelp and Google. I ultimately decided on Bay Area Wall Mounts because of their established reviews and the photos of their previous work, and I'm glad I did. Ismat installed our 65" LG C6 TV along with an LG S95TR soundbar above our fireplace and mantel. I was initially unsure whether the fireplace and mantel would make the installation more difficult, but he handled it without any issues and made sure everything was centered, level, and positioned properly. One of the biggest things I wanted was a clean installation with no visible cords. They were able to create a power bridge system that concealed the wiring and routed everything to a nearby outlet. They also left us with additional connectivity so we can add two more HDMI devices in the future. The finished setup looks very clean and professional. The price was fair, although perhaps a little on the higher side compared with some options I looked at. That said, I would rather pay for quality workmanship and have the job done correctly than simply choose the cheapest option, especially when mounting an expensive TV above a fireplace. Overall, I'm very happy with the finished result and the quality of the installation. I wouldn't hesitate to use Bay Area Wall Mounts again for any future TV mounting needs, and I would definitely recommend Ismat and the team.

We had an outlet fairly near the TV, and wanted the cable to be invisible, but what with the Pro's cable not being rated to go inside the wall, and the location of the studs, it was complicated. Anthony talked us through the options, and periodically showed us what he'd found inside the wall and what that meant for the installation plan. Often when I hire home-service professionals, I feel nervous because they don't really explain what they're doing or why it's the best solution; but I felt like I could trust Anthony completely. I came across First Reflection AV on Yelp as I was researching businesses that could not only…read moreconfigure an AV system but could do one with in-ceiling speakers and hidden wiring. I just purchased a single family home with an open floor plan and a living room area that wasn't huge, so having any kind of exposed wiring was not an option and I didn't want to devote any floor space to speakers or speaker stands. I am also an audiophile so a fully wireless setup was not going to work for me. To top it all off my house was newly renovated and the walls recently painted so I had concerns about how many holes would have to be punched into my ceilings and walls in order to wire up the whole system. Enter Ron and his associate Joel. Ron was super responsive and after an initial consultation he put together a thorough, itemized, estimate that included his recommendations on equipment including speakers, controller, cabling (cables do matter!) and ultimately an upgraded A/V receiver. It wasn't cheap, but it was fair and in line with expectations. As for my concerns about lots of extraneous holes? I didn't need to worry. Joel deftly ran a CAT cable from the router in my office on one side of the house underneath my house all the way to the living room on the other side of the house, drilling only one small hole in the office floor and making one opening in the living room wall. Joel then leveraged that opening to skillfully run speaker wire up the wall to the ceiling where he needed to make only two additional openings (one in the wall and one in the ceiling) to run ALL the wiring necessary for 5 speakers in the ceiling for 5.1 channel audio plus 2 more speakers across the room for two channel audio in the kitchen. Only three extraneous openings for 7 in-ceiling speakers? Oh did I mention it was done in just two days?! Remarkable! As Ron had promised, they fitted and screwed the drywall pieces back into place perfectly to make it super easy for the painters to mud, sand and paint over it. You can't even tell where those holes were now. Another promise Ron made was that this system would produce the best sound quality I had ever experienced and he was right. I even prefer it to movie theater sound and Ron hasn't even calibrated my system yet (I wanted to wait for my new couch and to put down my rug since I knew that would affect the calibration process). The sound is rich, full and balanced. Not too bright sounding and not at all boomy (boomy bass is NOT an indication of good quality sound). Do not hesitate to use First Reflection AV! The investment is so worthwhile and I am BEYOND happy with the final result. I've included pictures as well (holiday decorations, dog and all).
