Apple Store

Apple Store

This Apple store offers the worst customer service and retail experience I've ever had. I have…read morerepeatedly gone there because of issues I had with my MacBook Pro, iPads, and phones, and each encounter with an employee was extremely disappointing and quite frankly very rude. As much as I like Apple products, their horrendous customer service is the soul reason why I am purchasing a PC as my next computer. Good luck making an apple support claim here if your issue doesn't fall under their "tests" because they will refuse to even look into the problem.

I went in store for a promotion two weeks ago that was offering trade ins for iphone 11 for more…read morethan the usual amount (the deal was until June 3rd). When I came into the store on June 2nd, I told the gentleman who was helping me that I came for the promotion. As he was checking out my new phone, he asked if I already backed up my old phone, to which I said no. He replied "no problem" and said that they have a said I had 14 days to bring my old phone in for the refund of the promotional trade-in value. Fast forward 2 weeks, I came to Apple to trade in my old phone and the gentleman serving me (a different guy from 2 weeks ago) said that the trade in value was only $240, instead of the $290 I was expecting. I explained to him that I bought my new phone during the promotional term and was told I had 14 days to bring it back. He went to inquire with his manager and came back saying nothing could be done. I asked to speak with the manager myself. I don't know this manager's name because apparently Apple employees dont wear name tags and he didn't want to give me his name. But, this man was SO rude to me. He basically told me that I was lying and that the gentleman who sold me the phone did not say I would get the promotional trade-in price. He said that I would have had to have traded in the phone before June 3rd, which I was not told. He specifically told me I had 14 days to come back. The manager told me that it was impossible to refund me the money even though I was told I would be getting $50 more. I explained to the manager that I did not need a new phone, my old one was perfectly fine, I only came in because of this promotion. He said in a very snarky way "Well, you can return your new phone and we'll give you your old one back". He said this after they broke my old screen protector and after I had cleared everything off my phone. I told him this was unbelievable and asked to speak with someone higher and he said there is no one higher. This manager was so rude to me that I started to cry, he rolled his eyes and told the young gentleman who was helping us to deal with this and walked away. I could not believe it. As a customer who has bought 5 iphones, macbook, and headphones from this Apple store over the years, I am in complete shock over this treatment.

This IT shop was recommended to us by the folks at Cogeco. Cogeco is our cable / Internet provider…read more We have 4 computers in our home. They run on a wireless network. Given we have teens in the house, they were all over the Internet. Sadly, as a result ,our virus software wasn't doing the job. As a result, our computers were filled with viruses etc. and slowing down to a grinding halt. We know ' zip ' about computers and are always in a panic as to where to turn when they slow down or break down. Following up on Cogeco's' suggestion, we called Dependable IT and we were able to have Dependable IT access our computers on-line and clean them all up for a low flat rate. They did an amazing job. Once that was clean up was done, they suggested that we switch virus software to minimize similar problems in he future. Dependable IT services a lot of corporate clients, and they recommended we go with the NOD32 Antivirus software a lot of their corporate clients use - which we did. What a difference - in hindsight, its' been like a night and day improvement. They also do computer repairs. We dropped off 2 of our desktops and they fixed them for a faulty power supply and wireless card for a great prices and a really fast turnaround time. If you've got a computer problem of any kind, before going to big box places to drop off your computer or to have Nerds On Site or Geek Squad come on site. I would definetly go with Dependable IT as a first choice. They have great prices, great on-line and on-site or drop-off support. And - most of all - Dependable IT can be trusted.

I had what they call the RCMP virus and I was completely locked out of my computer. Without them helping me I would have lost everything. My PC is working better than new and other places were quoting me more than double what DependableIT charged. For PC repairs they are my number one. I didn't even have to leave my house or have someone come to my place. They were able to fix it remotely, I was totally amazed.
