They have a Rubicon that is way overpriced. It's a desert sand color with some aftermarket parts…read more They want $85,900 for it. Let me help some people out. NEVER pay MSRP for a vehicle. I got my Jeep Gladiator for just over $52k. 4 Wheel Parts quoted me $18-20k for a sweet set up including regearing, wheels/tires, lift, bumpers, etc. so total for my build would be about $72k. That's nearly a $14k difference. Had this salesman Tony argue with me saying I was FOS. Do the research and don't get swindled by these outrageous markups from dealers. Cheers!!

Had a REALLY bad experience with Dotta Jeep. I ordered a new Jeep Wrangler Rubicon 392 and…read morespecially ordered it to my specifications back in February of 2021. I put down a deposit and ordered it from Chris Walters (general manger of Dotta Jeep). I checked in with Chris once a week for the last six months checking on the order status. Finally in early July I was told it was built and would be delivered ASAP. In preparation of my new 392 wrangler arriving I sold my 2020 Wrangler Rubicon to make room for the 392 and paid off my lease with Chrysler Capital early. I checked in with Chris almost every day asking for updates. First there was delays at the factory (fine we live in a post Covid world with chip shortages and production delays), then it was it was shipped to a holding yard in Pennsylvania etc. Finally my New Jeep Wrangler 392 arrived this past Friday like a kid on Christmas Eve I couldn't sleep the night before I was supposed to pick it up only to find out that the paperwork wasn't ready. Mind you I've only been in conversations with Chris via text message because he NEVER picks up his cell phone to have a normal conversation like a professional would. So I couldn't come pick it up on Saturday but was promised on Monday the paperwork would be handled and the dealership would deliver the Jeep to New York for me where I live. On Monday I of course call chris and he texts me that the finance manager Dan would call me. An hour later Dan calls me and informs me that they can't lease me the Jeep in the state where I register my cars. I asked if we could find a solution and even provided him with the DMVs info and a title agency that could do it. After going back and forth with Dan all day long trying to get the deal done I tell him how bad the customer experience has been dealing with Chris and Dotta Jeep and how he never picks up the phone and only texts and how long it's taken to get this deal done. Dan gets angrier and angrier and yells at me and hangs up on me. I called him back and he said "the deals over we aren't selling you the car". I call Chris he of course doesn't pick up, then he finally calls me and screams at me "We aren't selling you your car, you burned your bridge with us" and hangs up then BLOCKS my number so I can't call or text him any longer. I call the dealership and the reception screens the calls and won't let me speak to Chris or Dan. I send an apology email to Chris and Dan for my frustration which goes unresponsive. I call for two more days and get zero call backs. Finally I called Chrysler Headquarters and they had a representative call the dealership and magically Chris Walters picks up the call and told the representative that they SOLD MY JEEP to someone on Saturday for more money!!! Yes MY JEEP that I custom ordered and waited seven months for, MY JEEP that I sold my old Jeep for, MY JEEP that I had a deposit on and now I am without a car and have to wait six to seven months for another order allocation to be built. Dotta Jeep are LIARS, DISHONEST SCUM BAGS with the WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!!! I would NEVER do business with this dealership ever again. RUN AS FAR AWAY!!!!

I went to Midas in wind Gap before going here and they informed me I would need rotors and pads for my brakes, gave me an estimate of $900 or more they said! Took it to Bangor Tire and Auto and it came to little over $200!! When I asked the mechanic he said, you only needed the pads replaced! So needless to say I am thrilled for finding an honest mechanic and did I mention how nice he is?! You can't go wrong doing your business with these people... you will save a bundle and feel confident knowing you have a trustworthy experienced caring mechanic!! So that being said... give them a try, you will be glad you did! What a diamond in the rough!!

The first time they did a safety inspection on my wife's Jeep a few years ago, they missed a huge…read morecrack in the front suspension , which caused a wheel to break straight off as we pulled out of a parking space. I gave them the benefit of the doubt because other mechanics told me it wouldn't be unusual to miss that on an inspection. They also agreed to fix it pretty quickly, after we had it towed there. Fast forward to last week, this time my 2013 Rav4 with 130k miles that's been pretty well maintained was overdue for a tire rotation. They performed it at no charge. Immediately, a loud noise is audible at lower speeds and coming to a stop. Not a seized caliper, and too coincidental with timing of rotation. I assumed it could be a balancing issue. I also made sure it wasn't anything silly like lugs not being tightened all the way. Decided to call them and ask if they could take a look, since it's reasonably possible they caused the issue. I told them I'd pay a diagnostic fee even if I thought they may have done something. We are a one vehicle family and I've been racking up miles since I started a second job delivering food. I got a callback where the woman at the front desk told me "we don't diagnose things here", added that the shop was closing for a week for a family vacation, and then tried to steer me to another garage. What kind of licensed PA inspection station doesn't diagnose mechanical problems? Especially if they may be responsible? You're telling me if I am going to fail inspection they wouldn't try to find out why? Or know how to check their own work? Before this tire rotation, I had my annual inspection done there and requested regular interval maintenance, which would be lube, oil, filter change and a tire rotation. When I picked the car up, I was shocked at their price increases. I paid basically the same amount I would have at the Toyota dealership, and they tell me they didn't even rotate the tires! I'm no mechanic but I know tires should be rotated with each interval service. If you're just going to only accept cake (brake jobs and oil changes) don't bother keeping your inspection license. Nobody should trust these people, no matter how friendly they might be. There's a reason they have competitors right across the street who have been doing it much longer and never had to sweat Bangor Tire and Auto coming into town. I used to take my car to the dealership, even for regular maintenance. They are expensive. I heard people talk about how affordable this place is, and how nice they are as people. Unfortunately, that's not enough to run a good shop. They're also no more affordable than any other independent shop in the area, any more.
