Totally unbelievable! There were three workers and they all three look like zombies. They seemed almost like they all had a hangover. It took them forever. I mean forever. I've been go to Edd auto repair for the past couple years and most the time I dealt with Terry is a very nice person. Very knowledgeable. I went there yesterday I told them to replace my rear brakes. I was told by different mechanics from another from another station. I need rear brakes when I went to Terry auto mechanic and I spoke to Terry. I left the car overnight call me first thing in the morning and he informed me I had about 30,000 miles left on my rear brakes, no need to change your brakes you've been misinformed, as far as I'm concerned, you're very honest to me that means a lot because you could've told me yes your knee brakes and hit me for $280 obvious that did not happen which I'm very grateful for that and I will continue go to him to my opinion that was very honest for him to tell me that so I felt he's not there to rip off people Terry I greatly appreciate it. What are you doing? Thank you for your service and I will keep going back for future service. If any time I feel that I'll be taking for a ride. It's been a few weeks since I took my car to Ed's Auto. I wanted to leave an honest review and see how things go with my car since it was fixed. I had my car towed to Ed's auto because it was not accelerating. I've taken my car there before for oil change, brakes and inspection and never had any issues. This time however; once I had my car dropped off I called to make sure it arrived in one piece and to get an estimated time that they would be able to look at it. First, the guy who answered the phone answered not "Ed's Auto" but answered by saying my name. Caught off guard a little I wasn't sure if I had called the right place, but I did. The guy was very short with me and said they probably wouldn't be able to get to it for a few days. I had no problem with that. The next day, the same man called me, and again instead of a professional greeting, he said my name ( sort of matter of fact) once I realized who it was, he said " do you not care about your car at all?", taken aback I was wondering what he meant. He said that there was no coolant in the car. I stated well the last time I had the oil changed was a couple of months ago at your facility and no one mentioned about low coolant to me. I said " isn't this something that you check when getting the oil changed?" He said "no, we'll there's a tip off fee but no not really." I said ok, "is that what the problem is?" He then said " we'll you need a new engine." Now my car isn't old, and I have been keeping up with its maintenance, I immediately felt like I was being blamed and that this could not be right. I told him I would have my fiancé call him. He stated defensively " that's fine" . My fiancé went down there (instead of calling) livid as to how un professional this person was to me on the phone and how he was trying to blame me for the issue with my car. SO, we had it towed to another place for a second opinion, turns out it was not an engine issue whatsoever, it was the catalytic converter. In summery, this place either has an issue with women or has NO CLUE what they're doing outside of a brake change, oil change or inspection. BEWARE!! read more

Do not go here i just wanted tires put on they got new lug nuts and gave the car An alignment without calling and asking if it was okay. Good deals on oil changes etc. Rob fixed up my ride in under two hours. He is the most knowledgeable technician on the staff that I have worked with directly. The wrench in the works is the communication there. Thanks to a technician who speaks only Russian, they lost a tire sale because of it. read more

I used to go to Ed's years ago, didn't t like the way they did business, so I thought I would give them another chance and went to get an oil change today. I was there at about 8:15 am and they said they couldn't do for another 45 minutes. I said ok, and I walked home. One hour later I walked back to pick up my car and they said they didn't get to it yet, meanwhile there where two customers there who were not there before with there cars in their bays! I got my keys back and left! I should have known better. I wouldn't give them any stars if I didn't have to. Never had an issue with their service. Prices are competitive with other garages and way cheaper then a dealership. They don't go out of their way to charge you for things you don't need. For example I took my car to Jack Williams and they said I needed new front pads, rotors, and calipers. I took it to Ed's and they replaced the pads, machined the rotors, and sprayed some break cleaner on the calipers. That was over a year ago and have never had an issue with the actual calipers. read more

If I could give them no stars I would. I hydroplaned into a ditch last night (10/22/19). My car was still driveable. And was still able to move. I asked the tow truck guy if I could just drive it home. And he said with an attitude "no, it could be leaking fluids". There was leaking fluids. My car was barely even damaged. It still moves and drives. I drove it out of the ditch to begin with. Then they charged me $170 for the tow then another $40 each day it's there. I called today (10/23/19) and they said my car is leaking coolant pretty bad. Which I don't believe one bit.i told them I was going to drive it home today, and they said I shouldn't. So they told me they would tow it to my house for $250. Fuck that. I do not recommend having this place tow or even look at your car. Bit worth it. Unless you wanna fork out hundreds of dollars. read more

Do not use this facility for any work, sales, or service issues. I am a retired military veteran and I have five cars and wanted to find a respectable local service station for repairs and inspections. I took my car in for inspection and they only wrote up a missing reflector on a turn signal in the front. I paid for the inspection at this time. I went home and ordered parts on line and then I replaced the turn signal assemblies and headlight assemblies on both sides to insure everything worked, looked, and matched properly. Another $300. Now Carl, the counter guy whom a friend referred me to, was very unreasonable and said it didn't seem to fit right and was throwing everything off. No sticker!!! All lights were working as per safety requirements!!! Still no sticker!!! I guess he was just miffed because I didn't pay him for the parts and to do the work. After getting home, I read a lot of bad reviews about this place, so take heed and go anywhere else...even walmart service centers. Walmart is a little pricey but wont bite you in the butt after working on your car. I also read a review on Ed's Auto Sales that they sell poorly maintained cars and do not back up their products, so I would definitely shop elsewhere too. I believe in helping out the local small businesses, but when they don't help me out, they are through with my patronage!!! Go somewhere else!!!
