The best part is grabbing a drink and heading out to their patio to hit some softballs. The pitch speed choices are great, giving you many options. We all decided on the 45 mile an hour and then a few friends felt confident to try the fastest pitch. Overall, we had a blast socializing, cheering on our friends and enjoying drinks. The cost is reasonable, and they offer helmets and a variety of bat lengths. We will continue to head in because there are not many places like it.

I came…read moreacross Annick's review of Rocks and Ropes while finding out their hours which lead me to check out another of Annick's review for Black Rock Bouldering Gym. I have been a member at both gyms and I think Annick's take on both do not reflect anything close to the majority of their visitors views. I only hope that future visitors will brush off these reviews as nitpicky, naggy, and just plain ignorant. Annick claims to be an experienced climber but expects a modern, corporate type of gym everywhere Annick goes but fails to realize Rocks and Ropes and BRBG are completely appropriate for the community they are serving. While these gyms are not perfect, they were both recently modified and I assure you, they considered customer input during design. Annick tries to call management out by not "embracing" feedback, if all businesses "embraced" this type of feedback, they would sink. I'm going to guess Annick is the type of person to order something completely off the menu at a restaurant and complain about how it doesn't taste good. 5 stars for support of local, well-run businesses and to help offset a ridiculous review by a ridiculous person.

Any riffraff going on or shady characters is probably a product of the park's location. I come here for swim lessons, and the pool is actually pretty nice. The hours aren't great, and they don't open a minute early, but the staff is decent. There is a separate baby pool and dive pool. Unfortunately, the slide in the main pool is condemned (yikes).
