I am visiting from CT and my cell phone screen broke. I went to them to fix it and it was almost…read more$40 more than they said it would be and when the fixed the screen they destroyed the back of the phone rendering my finger print scanner inoperable. I went to them to simply get a refund of about $50 so I could go to Verizon and replace my phone with a new phone. Instead I was forcefully pushed out the store causing injuries to my fore arm face ankle and underarm. I fully intend on pressing assault charges and will be going through the courts to get my money back and for the damage to my $700+ sunglasses that are prescription. So unless you want bad customer service and possibly get assaulted I recommend not using them for anything.

Richmond is very fortunate to have a computer repair shop of the caliber of Parts Plus. We've been…read moredoing business with them for over 20 years and have never been disappointed. They are fast, friendly, very knowledgeable, and very reasonably priced. And best of all you can deal in person with excellent technicians. Owner Chuck has been invaluable to us over the years.

I took my computer in to replace the processor and motherboard, when I received the computer back…read morethe top corner of the case was broke and only 2 of the 9 fans were working, the processor and motherboard were overheating. When I call about the probIem the person assured me that all the fans were working and that I must have done something to jar them loose and the case was already like that, however he would look at it if i brought it back. When I brought it another person had to add extra wire to get 8 of the 9 fans to work and never did get the last one to work, he said it much have gone out also he never did fix the case. When I got it home the processor and motherboard were still overheating, when I looked in the computer there was a different heatsink device with a fan on the processor that wasn't the original one I had before I brought it in. I called back and talked to the guy that fixed my fans, I told him that only the processor and motherboard are overheating, he told me that I must have done something and he only replaced the fan part on the heatsink device and refused to take responsibility with the overheating. Now i'm out $500 and my processor/motherboard are red lining, I'm going to have to take it in somewhere to find out just what all they messed up. I've also filed a complain with the BBB. Go anywhere else but here!

One star is way too gracious of a rating, but 0 wasn't an option. I found this business for my mom…read morebecause it was close to her house with the nearest Apple store 60 miles away. Her iPhone 6 needed a new battery - working perfectly just slowing down - and this business had decent reviews. She dropped the phone off and returned an hour later to pick her phone up. The young employee also sold her a $40 case since her current case "wasn't good enough" - fair enough. So, the new battery was $60 - totaling $100 with the new case. The employee tells mom everything is working and it's all good. So, mom has "new" phone - wait... Now, my mom's fault - she didn't initially turn the phone on in the store. Heading home she turns it on and the phone is blinking off and on acting crazy - not ever fully turning on. She contacts the store and they say bring it back in. So, after 3 trips back to the store (30 miles one way) and numerous tries by the business to fix the phone - nothing works. The employees tell my mom that it is her problem/fault and her phone has a software issue. The phone hasn't worked since she dropped it off - mind you the phone worked fine before just slowing down. The employee continued to not "own" the fact that she yielded the phone unusable and offered no solution to the problem. Ok, in the end mom is out over $100 with no recourse or apology that this "business" wrecked her phone yielding it unusable. Also, insult to injury - mom tried to return the case that she obviously doesn't need now - the employee tells her no because she doesn't have the box it came in - the employee installed the case and threw the box away in office! Mom complained and asked for a refund more than once to no avail. Finally, obviously I would never recommend this pitiful excuse for a business to anyone. If they continue this level of service they won't be in business long. Terrible business practices.
