Before taking the plunge on buying new phone, I thought maybe a new battery would resolve the issue. It Did Not. London G. in particular was incredibly understanding and accommodating. Within minutes after returning home (with the new battery installed), the battery began draining, despite me not using the phone at all. I called the store, spoke to London, who said to bring it back in and they would reinstall my original battery. Understandably they couldn't refund me my entire cost (it was my call to replace it, not theirs). They refunded me a portion, less the bench fee. Throughout my entire interaction with London and the other staff members, I was treated with courtesy, respect, and patience. Plus the battery cost was the same as what the Apple store charges. Bottom line is if you are looking for a high quality tech repair service, definitely go to this place.

My son's iPad screen got cracked with it fell from our dining table. The Apple store in Briarwood Mall couldn't fix it, and recommended Cell Doc instead. No problem! The man at the counter said, we can to it in about a week. Repairing the screen takes about 30 min, but they have to order a new screen which takes about a week. $190 later, we waited a week, and they called to say the accidentally ordered the wrong color glass screen. Did we care if they made the screen white with a black home button? Um, yes, I wanted it to match, and we ordered black. Please order the correct color. Waited another week, and then picked up the iPad. All was well for about 2 weeks, and the home button sank under the screen and no longer works. Its stuck, so you can't open or close any apps, or unlock the iPad. No problem, pull out my receipt with a "30 day guarantee". Took the iPad back in, and they apologized and said they would fix the home button, but had to send to a technician at their store in Toledo. Wait two days, and get a call that they can't fix the home button because it might crack the screen, and they "don't know who fixed it before, but you should take it back there". Um, YOU fixed it before!!! They also said it's been more than 30 days, so the guarantee is no longer valid. It has been more than 30 days since I paid and we dropped the iPad off, but they didn't finish the repair for 2 weeks after this. So.... never mind we've only had it back for 2 weeks, because it took 14 days to repair, the warranty is no longer valid because the "boss has changed". Complete and total BS, terrible customer service and shoddy work. Would have been better off buying a new iPad to begin with, because now I am out $190 and the home button is stuck and they have rendered our iPad completely not functional with their "repair".

Centralized was able to give me a time window conducive to my schedule and I should add, that prior to both appointments, Tyler called and assured me of his arrival. A hour later the issue of the dryer was fixed. The primary installers of the dryer either were lacking the skill or proper tools for the electric connection and Tyler should me the charred wires. Tyler was friendly, knowledgeable, professional, and quick. A big resounding YES in recommending this company.

He doesn't respond to emails or text messages and doesn't keep regular hours, despite the 10am-6pm that he advertises. I tried months ago to get my MacBook repaired with him. I had an appointment nearby that ended around 10am when his shop supposedly opens (as per advertised hours). When I called to tell him I was on my way, he said he wasn't at the shop and told me he works by appointment only and that he works around whatever his client's hours are... After all that, he agreed to meet me so I could drop the computer off for a diagnostic. After looking at it, he told me I needed to purchase speakers, so I asked if I could have the speakers shipped directly to him. He said yes but that I couldn't have them sent to his shop due to construction. So I asked for an address where I could send them and he never responded. Due to his lack of response, I missed my window to order in time to receive them before Labor Day. I didn't want to be without my computer too long, so I asked if I could come the next day around 9am because I had another appointment in the area. He gave me massive attitude claiming all of a sudden that his hours are 10am-6pm despite having clearly told me before that he works around his clients' hours by appointment. At this point, I was thoroughly confused. I went to pick up my laptop and he met me in the parking lot, shoving it into my hands and practically sprinting back to his car. I asked how I should pay the diagnostic fee ($39) and he said I'd just pay it when I got the repair done. Okay whatever. I didn't have time to deal with the repair until 3 months later, especially since I'm almost never on that side of town. I tried emailing him to make arrangements for the repair again and lo and behold - no response. I'm not dealing with this guy anymore. I'm on vacation this week, so this is likely the only chance I'll have to get this repair taken care of for a good long while. So I just made an appointment with the Genius Bar. Really wish we had better options for Mac repairs around here but what can ya do... At least the Apple store knows how to communicate & makes it easy to make an appointment. Geez.

Recommended by a faith based institutional customer, who was shocked to hear how I was treated, as a senior I was taken back, by his dismissive attitude toward me, as well as my older computer.

The 18-year old behind the counter kept trying to upsell us the Geek Squad 3-year warranty. Um no. It was under the 1-year warranty so I wanted them to run a diagnostic test on it. They called back after a few days and said it was a hardware problem and it's not covered under warranty but if I bought the 3-year Geek Squad thing for $400 they could fix it. For that much I could get another laptop, so no thanks (I only use it for the Internet). Disgusted with Best Buy a computer nerd we know highly recommended Virtual PCS. We took it in, the owner was great and told us so many of his customers come there because they get disgusted with Best Buy and their Nazi upselling tactics. He also told me that a waranty covers hardware and basically Best Buy tells people a load of shit to get them to spend more money. Virtual PCS did a great, quick and professional job. Not to mention an honest job. I had never been to an independently owned computer store before but am so glad I tried them out.

Called store on Thursday to inquire about getting a new key fob, manager gave me replacement part number, placed order online to take advantage of sale. Called store back was told it would be in on Friday, Friday it wasn't there, but was told it would definitely be in Saturday, they would call me, they didn', I called them later in the day. Now being told the fob he originally told me was the correct one wasn't right, I needed a different fob, at the time was told it would be 20.00 more. came in Monday to get the fob and have it programmed, prepared to pay the additional 20.00, nope it's an additional 130.00. "I made sure to explain that to you so you would understand" (He never said it would be 130.00 more, I know the difference between 130.00 and 20.00) had no real choice but to get it original fob barely working after being damaged, but never again. And had to live how the manager acted like he was doing me some big favor. In response to the customer service response, NO I WAS NOT REFUNDED. frank m I have read your comment and feel you don't know any thing that went on in that store you may not know who bought the scooter battery that's not important what is important is how your representative treated the problem. One they said they couldn't warranty because the battery was not at 12 volts that battery was only 4 months old and had two shorted cells that's why it would not hold 12 volts and your representative implied that it was my fault that that battery was in that condition. well that battery sat in my scooter for those two weeks when it did not function it sat on my battery charger the rest of the time, my battery charger said I had two dead cells and was unable to charge it then I brought back to the store and suffered the humiliation of being accused of destroying the battery read more

My laptop died and I couldn't be without it to be fixed by the Geek Squad, no repairs on site. They suggested BatteriesplusBulbs on 3128 Secor Road. Best place to get it fixed. Thomas was very helpful and explained what was going on with it. He ordered a new battery which came in 2 days. I had broken the right hinged corner which he fixed, along with reinforcing the left hinge corner. Customer service was excellant. All of the employees were very friendly and respectful. I have very little knowledge of anything technical,but when my S7 Edge cracked I called these guys. Michael was so very polite, explained what I would need replaced and gave me a fair estimate. He even offered to show me what they would be replacing before they worked on my phone and that is not something you see anymore! The first recent visit two weeks ago was an attempt to update my mom's Apple Watch because fall detection was no longer working and the "automatic update" had not updated and I couldn't figure out how to manually update it. While everyone was nice during that visit, I was passed off to various staff members and ultimately needed to leave the store because the update was expected to take more than three hours and they would be closing before the very slow process could be completed. When I arrived home, I followed directions to continue the update process, but it was repeatedly unsuccessful. I decided it was time to buy my mom a new watch - the newest SE 40" face model- and not have to deal with trying to salvage a watch that was beyond its prime. I also decided to go to the Apple Store during the day on a weekday. Alissa was the team member assigned to me and she immediately took an interest in understanding why the fall detection feature was important. She was also very patient as we tried various passwords. It would have been a more stressful process without Alissa right there next to me with her understanding encouragement. Throughout this process of turning in the old watch (btw, received a credit of $55) and purchasing the new one, she never pressured me in any way. Alissa spent approximately one hour solely dedicated to getting the new watch set up, which included several calls to my mom to obtain a code that was generated to her phone at home). . Throughout it all, she was patient, helpful and good-natured. I left feeling that she cared about my experience and in setting up the cellular watch with ringtone and my mom's watch face preferences. Alissa is a very sincere, knowledgeable and dedicated team member who clearly takes pride in her ability to help others in her role at the Apple Store. Thank you Alissa! You're the best!!! P.S. The new SE watch also includes an extra fast charger along with a watch band.

I live an hour away, and my Apple HomePod failed after a few months. I took it into the store, where they confirmed it was covered under warranty. Great! Except they conveniently had "none in stock." I pointed to a stack of them on the shelf, but no, those were for sale, and Apple couldn't just swap one out. Instead, they had to order a warranty replacement--almost certainly a refurb--and have me return later. Fine. Annoying but okay. I asked if they could mail it to me since I live so far away, and of course, the answer was no. I had to come back in person with the defective unit. So I made the two-hour round trip home, waited, and then received an email telling me I had five days to pick up the replacement before it would be returned. I had to take time off work to drive another two hours round trip to swap my old one for the new one. I asked them at the store if everything was in the box. "Yes, everything is in the box," they said. Guess what? I get home, and THERE'S NO POWER CORD. Now I have a useless HomePod that I can't even plug in. I try calling the store and battling through Apple's awful automated system. When I finally reached a human, it was just an off-site answering service. They struggle to get the actual store to pick up. After holding for 15 minutes, I finally got someone from the store. First, they try to tell me the power cord must be there because "it doesn't come off." WRONG. The large HomePod's power cable DOES come off--the HomePod Mini doesn't. They don't believe me and have to check. When they finally admit I'm right, they offer two terrible choices: drive another two hours round trip to get the missing cord or have them mail it to me with no tracking, meaning if it gets lost, I'm out of luck. So now I have to decide whether to waste another $35 in gas and hours of my time or risk waiting another week and potentially never seeing my cord. This whole process was a joke. Apple does not care about its customers. They put the entire burden on me, costing me time and money to correct their mistakes. A multi-billion-dollar company can't figure out how to make warranty replacements easy. Apple turned This simple fix into an expensive, time-consuming nightmare. So disappointing.
