The staff was professional and the customer area was clean, organized and check-in was seamless. Got a call the next day with a diagnosis and two options for repair. The hard drive was replaced by late Saturday morning (earlier than promised) and I'm writing this review on my much improved desktop. They quoted 3-5 days because they needed to order a part, and the laptop was ready for pickup on the following Monday afternoon. All seem's to be working perfectly now, so no complaints. However, five/technically six days did seem excessive for a keyboard replacement, given the ubiquity of 2-day shipping from places like Amazon.

Plus once a year she gets our tax software here. They get our business because they offer a credit for recycling ink cartridges and that helps keep down the cost for ink. Service is usually ok. Might have to hunt up help or a cashier sometimes since they are never busy with maybe 4 cars in the parking lot at any time. The store is still the same size as when it first opened in the heyday of the big box office supply stores many years ago and they haven't closed yet so there must be something more than our business keeping them going. Maybe supplying state government since these big box office supply folks ran all the locals out of business when they first opened.

Because of tragic events (plane crash) in the UPS network routed through Louisville, KY, my shipment was delayed for days and I knew I would miss the original home delivery window due to pre-planned travel. UPS customer service had pre-cleared a hold for my package at a local UPS location and confidently guaranteed that it would be held there until I returned from a trip. When I woke up this morning, I found that the package was suddenly marked as "returning to sender." This is not an ordinary package. It contains wine worth several thousand dollars and it is perishable in heat and during additional transit. When I called the UPS Store on Mahan, they were completely nonchalant. The young woman who answered and the gentleman she was working with refused to even look up my tracking number. They repeatedly told me there was nothing they could do and would not take the simple step of checking whether the package was still there so that I could send someone to pick it up on my behalf. To make matters worse, UPS customer service specifically directed me to work with this local store to resolve the issue and hold the package. The store simply refused to help at all. No effort to problem solve, no empathy for the situation, and no interest in protecting an expensive and time sensitive shipment. I rarely leave negative reviews, but the lack of basic customer service and unwillingness to even pull up a tracking number at this location was unacceptable.

Ditto what I said before. This hardware store beats the heck out of the big box Home Depot/Lowe's…read morefor most of my hardware needs. I always go here first to check for what I need. Even when their prices are a little higher I will still go here because they have great friendly and helpful employees when you need help and I don't have to walk a block or two inside the store to get to what I need. Plus, for me, they are just down the road. The only potential negative is that the parking lot can be difficult at times because they are paired with a Dollar General and things get busy sometimes. Just park the other side of the Dollar General where there is always plenty of parking and get a few more steps in. It will still be less than if you went to Home Depot/Lowe's.
