They installed the battery for the price of the battery which was awesome and we're pretty comparable to Amazon prices on the battery. I ended up coming here because I like shopping at brick and mortar over online. You could write that I am a Millennial trapped in an older generation's body. I remember the days at Radioshack, but in Kentucky there is no Radioshack. I needed a battery for my garage door opener and low and behold it was a batter I had never seen before. A32? It is like a smaller batter lengthwise than a triple AAA and I thought those were the smallest cylindrical batteries. The associate new exactly where they were and so it was a quick buy and out. Went in to get an iPad repaired and before he even started talking to me about it he was encouraging me to go elsewhere. He even huffed when I continued to pursue the repair. The online quote was way off. He said he'd send it off and it would be $300. ($200 higher than the online quote). He said he wasn't even trained on how to plug it up and see what model it was. lol. I selected this location for a phone repair, because I had previously gotten excellent service here. That is no longer the case. I made an appointment online, with all the details of my phone. When I arrived the door was locked and another customer out front told me they would be back in ten minutes. When they unlocked the door and I got in, I was told they didn't have the part in stock. All they had to do was call and save me an hour drive, but they didn't bother. It was a complete waste of time and they were unapologetic. The gentleman there did try to find me a place in town that could fix it, but couldn't. If they had just called and said they didn't have the part, I wouldn't have spent an hour driving there and back. read more

I contacted Batteries Plus to see if they carried vehicle Fobs. I was told they could order the fobs I needed and program them. I ordered two replacement fobs, one for my 2015 Mazda 3 n one for my 2016 Nissan Rogue. I was advised it would be 3/4 days. It took a week. Their truck was late (no biggie but let the customer know). When the fobs came in I made an appointment to get the Mazda programmed. I showed up early to the appointment and they got me in a little early (a plus). Unfortunately, after nearly 45 minutes of working on my key, they couldn't program the key fob because it needed a Mazda Code (that Mazda don't give out - ugh). I'm sorry, but Batteries Plus should know what vehicle fobs they can program n ones they can't. I made an appointment for the Nissan Rogue (for the next day) and when I arrived 20 minutes early for my appointment, I was told the employee doesn't come in until after my appointment. Ugh. Seriously? I waited. The employee didn't start on my key fob until 30 minutes past my appointment time. After they arrived, 30 minutes later was told they couldn't program my Nissan key either. Wow. Is Customer Service dead in America? It's just common customer service! If you make an appointment then keep it or call the customer... geez. The one star is for horrible communication and not knowing what keys they can program. I won't be a returning customer. I realize customer service is dying in America but will continue to look for companies that provide the best service. I paid just over $400 dollars for two key fobs and programming. (Yes, that's cheaper than the dealership, by like $200 dollars.). Batteries Plus did refund my money on the key fobs they ordered but I wasted countless hours for nothing. I still need two key fobs. Advice- if you need key fobs do not go to batteries plus. read more

I have used Batteries Plus several times for battery replacements. Service is spotty. It really depends on who helps you. I have has fantastic service and other times pretty poor service. But if you have a battery need, you can likely find it here. read more

Good place to find hard to find batteries. They will charge you for installation I believe. So bring you own tools or pay a small fee. I'm sick to death of small fees for things I can easily do myself but I guess they gotta make a dollar... read more

I brought a battery to be rebuilt to Battery Plus in Lexington. Had to pay up front. NEVER got a call re it being ready; picked it up and it still didnt work. Brought back and they said they thought there might be another issue to try - again NO CALL to say ready but when picked up again they said if it still didn't work to bring back and they had another something to try. So when it still didn't work I brought it back for a 3rd time along with another battery (same kind). After weeks they still don't bother to get in touch with me and when I call they are "swamped" and promise to call me back that day and AGAIN no call whatsoever. TERRIBLE SERVICE. I called one time and guy said he was too swamped t even check on my order - I drove over there with 3 minutes and absolutely NO ONE IN THE STORE.
