Without reading the fine print I gave up my ability to contest charges. I was charged significant service charges before I was ever aware of the charges. When I demanded Ron invoice me before making charges to my credit card , I was told that Cherry Digital Services did not do business like that. I was sold and installed on my computer anti-virus software. After it was installed , I complained my computer had been hijacked by a "virus" . I was told by Ron, no one guarantees anything in this business. My advice is be very careful about using Cherry Digital Pros. They may be techically competent but I think there business policies are terrible. Do your due diligence .

They kept it at the store for two days without working on it or trying to dry it out or clean it, by which time the logic board had corrosion damage. They also tried to turn it on without first cleaning it, which I am sure made the damage worse- laptops shut off automatically when they sense a spill and turning them back on is the worst thing you can do without cleaning and drying them first. They then charged me a $35 fee to tell me that the laptop "wouldn't start". Well, obviously not. Stay away.

It is like a smaller batter lengthwise than a triple AAA and I thought those were the smallest cylindrical batteries. The associate new exactly where they were and so it was a quick buy and out. I also needed to have a key copied, but they do not do home keys. If anyone needs their car keys copied, this would be the place.

After being stolen, a prayer and god's mercy my phone/wallet was returned to me, my shatter proof screen protector was cracked all to hell, and my screen had popped out of the corner of the casing other than that my phone was fine, found tech medic Repair and they saved my $1100, 128 g phone and my life! I took my phone in this morning because I was having trouble charging it. Kyle used a little tool to clean out my charging port and it was done within about a minute. After that, my phone worked perfectly fine. He didn't charge me anything for this which I really appreciated. He genuinely just wants to help people fix their phones. It's hard to finds place that doesn't over charge you like crazy for phone repair. This is the second time I have brought my phone here and I don't think I will ever take it anywhere else. read more

I was recently in Lexington for work and my iPhone wouldn't charge, the home button wouldn't work, and the speaker and microphone were not functioning. I was a good 7 hours away from home and needed my phone for work. I located Techmedic through Google and Kyle told me to bring it buy for him to take a look at. They have fixed multiple phones for my family and have always done a great job. I walked in with phone problems today at 5:30, knowing they closed at 6. After some diagnostic testing, we realized it was going to take a while to fix the phone. They stayed late on a Friday afternoon to make sure I didn't have to go without. These guys are great. Excellent, nothing to complain about at all. Needed a screen fixed because another service nearby had done a poor job. Techmedic fixed the screen cheaper than the sketchy guy across the street, fixed my silent switch and speakers for free. I also took in a older MacBook Pro that would no longer boot up. When I got my computers back (at more than $200) things were fine -- for about a month or so. The trackpad on the Air stopped working and the cursor frequently moved on its own. I took it to the Apple Store and they replaced the trackpad. The cursor problem got worse. Back at the Apple Store again, they said that the back of the computer did not match the top of the computer -- the serial numbers didn't match and evidently the trackpad didn't fit correctly when it was replaced by Hartland. The cursor issue was also caused because the back had been replaced by a back that didn't match. I ended up having to buy a new MacBook Air; the Apple Store did credit me for the trackpad they replaced but I was still out a lot of money because of what Hartland did. I guess they figured it didn't matter if they used cheap or substitute parts. Or maybe they just don't want to repair computers any longer. I wouldn't recommend them to anyone.
