I came in on a Saturday afternoon looking to have a watch battery changed. I'm sure they had the correct battery, but the guy behind the counter said that they didn't have a tool small enough to open the latch on the back. After the not so fun surprise of my newly purchased used car refusing to start, I grabbed a jump and headed straight to the battery store. I called on the way to make sure they could install a new battery if needed. Mike answered and was incredibly helpful from the start. When I arrived, he walked me through the battery options and explained the warranties clearly. Before selling me anything, though, he said he wanted to test the battery first to be certain that was actually the issue. I am so grateful he did. The battery tested just fine. The real culprit was the alternator. Instead of selling me something I did not need, he made sure I had the right information to move forward. Honest service like that matters. Bought a battery from this place in Huntsville Alabama in July!! Man said we would get a call around 2 weeks when it came in. No call ever came and then we went there and their PERMANENTLY CLOSED!! THEY TOOK OUR MONEY AND RAN!! I finally got in touch with corporate office on August 15. She found my ticket and seen where we paid for it but never received anything!! She said a check for the refund would be mailed to me. Ive waited for almost a month now. So yesterday I called back to corporate, and guess what she created another damn ticket and told me she would have info for me today...lie lie lie. Another woman I talked to today, whom I found out works out of her home, created another ticket. Your company is a disgrace to so many people in Alabama and your reviews reflect how crappy this business is by taking people's money and not giving what we all have paid for!! ( my phone got ran over by a car I work at a car wash that why I bought it to them in the first place but before that my had been dropped with the case on and off and never broke like that ) i took my iPhone 12 here to be fixed screen just needed to be replaced they fixed it the first time in a hour it ran me about 275 ( not the exact price but something around that ) I came back the screen was fixed everything was fine the next my iPhone started telling me I had an unauthentic iPhone part in my phone . I called batteries plus the same day and told them he told me to give it a week or 14 days to let it go away ( I kept getting the most annoying notifications while the part was on my phone wouldn't stop for anything) I called back two weeks and three days later n said hey it's still saying I have an unauthentic part in my phone ( the phone hung up ) so I then went to work I dropped my phon on the office floor by mistake it cracked and started showing colors like it was an android I was pissed ( I always drop my phone in the office it never cracks i droop it after they fix it cracks screen is full on blacked out with colors ) I take it back to them tell them what happened and how I broke my phone the last time and that I always drop my phone it never breaks and asked if I could have a refund or could they lower the price they try to give me a 10% off discount I definitely feel like they messed up my phone screen in general but they weren't even tryna under where I was coming from definitely won't bring it back did get it fixed that day wasn't about to spend another cent with them iphone user DON'T BRING YOUR PHONES HERE under any circumstances whatsoever read more

Poor Service My husband on yesterday visit to buy battery for his car fob. When he returns home to use his fob . He found out the key was missing along with the cover that protect the key inside . Which now He can't crank or lock the doors to the car. When call to inform them that didn't put the key back in the fob. They came very nasty and saying they was not responsible for that. Well I feel if the person who remove the key should put it back. Never will go back now my husband have to buy a new fob. read more

WORST customer service experience ever!!! First time ever went in and purchased a pack of batteries for a doorbell... that went fine. Was given a coupon for 50% off for programming a new key fob. So, later I went back in to order a new key fob for an older model vehicle. I told the young gentleman that I wanted a new key fob for this vehicle and I had a 50% off coupon for the programming and the previous gentleman had told me a new key fob was $75. In the process of ordering this key fob, another young gentleman came out from the back and proceeded to engage the gentleman who was helping me in a conversation about Comic Con or some tech thing. I had to interrupt them as the guy who was helping me totally stopped helping me, basically ignoring the fact I was standing there waiting for him to finish my order. They just looked at me but the other guy finally turned around and went to the back. So, the guy helping me said 'oh, the price has gone down since you talked to the other guy on the key fob" so I looked at the screen on my side of the counter and he had entered "refurbished key fob" to which I told him that is not what I said! So then he took even more time trying to figure out how to remove the incorrect item and add the correct one. He finally got it and I paid, got the receipt and left. A few days later I call to see if it's ready and it is... at this time I notice that he charged me for 2 programming fees! I mention th is to Austin, the guy who answered the phone. He said he just also noticed that but it wasn't a problem... they would credit it when I came in. So that afternoon I go by to pick up my order AND GUESS WHAT... IT WAS A REFURBISHED KEY FOB... even though I paid for a NEW KEY FOB! I was so aggravated that I told them just to credit the entire thing back to my credit card, that it was the worst experience I'd ever had trying to purchase something. The guy helping me (yes, there were yet 2 more guys in there I'd never seen in previous visits.) was very apologetic about what happened but had no clue how to credit it back... he tried calling people a few times before he finally got someone. In the meantime, another customer came in with a battery she'd ordered online for a blood pressure machine and it didn't work... the other young guy that was there tried looking for a batter but had no luck, could not figure out how to pull her information up online or how to find what she needed. He asked the guy helping me who said he'd have to help him when he finished with me... ding, ding... right answer! Too many young people working and not enough older ones that actually care and listen to what the customer wants! I called corporate both times and they took down the info but this is a franchisee who I've yet to hear from. I will NOT be going back to this location EVER! If I find the need to have to go to this company, which I doubt I will, I will go to one of the corporate stores at Hoover or Greystone and hope they are better because both locations are TOTALLY out of my way! Price Gouging opportunism at its worst! I'm all for people making money but this is ridiculous. My battery broke on my phone. This company wanted to charge me $80 to replacement battery that would arrive in 3 days. I found the same battery for $6 on Amazon that would cost $30 to ship overnight or $6 regular mail. It actually arrived 3 days later, same as what Batteries Plus proposed, except for $68 less. I'll absolutely never shop Batteries Plus since they treated my misfortune as an opportunity to not just make money, not just make a decent profit, but basically charge me 13 times what I found online on my own. read more

Do NOT take your smartphone here for a screen replacement! We took an iPhone 6s for screen repair for $169. It was one hairline crack across the screen. After dropping the phone off, they called back 10 minutes later claiming that the bolts were stripped and asked if I had taken it to another third party person. The phone was straight from Apple and never had been opened before. One we got the phone back, the entire touch screen wasn't working and they refused to fix it. Repairs ended up costing $300! They are also very rude. read more

After calling around town to find the least expensive phone repair company, I took my iPhone 7+ in with a badly shattered screen. There were the least expensive place I found and gave me a discount for coming in same-day. They got to it right away. They were very kind and sympathetic to the ridiculous streak of bad luck I was having. Even threw in a free screen protector! They also told me if anything went wrong, I could come back in and they would check it out. Yes, it was expensive, but that's what you get when you purchase an insanely expensive phone and decide to forego Apple's insanely expensive, restrictive insurance. Also, this company is a business, which means yes, they're trying to make money, but they weren't more "unfair" than any other repair place in the city. It was so nice to see that beautifully unflawed screen when I picked it up. Would recommend, and would return for phone or battery needs. read more

Amazing customer servicemen! While drive from MI to AL my sons pulled the wires out of the inverter in the car also bowing a fuse. By chance we stopped with the intention of buying a new cord but when I explained to the many helpful men in the store what the deal was they offered to fixed my old one and then helped change the the fuse in the car. To top it off they charged me nothing and told me to enjoy my trip to the beach! Amazing people thank you! read more
