Before selling me anything, though, he said he wanted to test the battery first to be certain that was actually the issue. I am so grateful he did. The battery tested just fine. The real culprit was the alternator. Instead of selling me something I did not need, he made sure I had the right information to move forward. Honest service like that matters. I spoke with Jennifer this morning regarding a battery warranty replacement that I was hoping to complete at Pep Boys 280 seeing as though they were closer to me and honored the warranty I have through Interstate. Pep Boys did not have the correct battery I needed so I had to drive to Interstate to have them test and warranty out the battery. Jennifer, Nate and Ryan quickly resolved my issue and answered a few minor questions that I had with the process of going through the affiliate shops/businesses with the warranty. Customer service was top tier. Attitudes were upbeat/helpful. Thank you all for fixing the last piece to my car headache and puzzle today!

I purchased 'lifetime' batteries for my car key fobs and was stoked. Now almost 2 years later, my battery was dying and this was the closest store, an hour plus away. I make a trek to Tuscaloosa for this and a few other errands. I go in the store and tell the young man working there that I have 'lifetime warranties' on my key fob. He very quickly said "yeah, we don't do that" or something to that extent. I said "Oh. OK." and retreated to my car. Upon getting in my car I pulled up their website which proved there was the same thing with a different name and went back inside. I then pulled out my phone and apologized for misspeaking and explained what I meant the first time. He then went to the back, without saying anything, explaining it to an older gentleman who then said "Yeah. Corporate's making us do that again. Just go change them out." I never received an apology or a 'whoopsie daisy'. I did get my batteries changed out though! Just a little frustrating when the folks at their jobs don't even attempt to do their due diligence before their customers walk out.
