Call first! The clerks were courteous, however, I scheduled an appointment a week ahead of time to repair my phone screen. I entered all the info for my phone type online and scheduled the repair online. When I arrived for the repair the screen was on back order. The online system took all my contact information, but did not let me know that a screen would not be available. I was told that the online service schedules the repair whether they have the screen in stock or not. No local store had the screen. read more

I brought an iPad mini here for a new screen. I picked it up and the iPad isn't working right so I brought it back. The tech said there's another problem with it and they can't repair that. Do not take a IPad to this STORE.While fixing a cracked iPad screen that was told would be an easy fix, the iPad we dropped off working would no longer work after this store had it a week+. Employee tried to say it was like that when they received it until my husband reminded them he had shown them the code to unlock the screen on the iPad and it was indeed working fine. Store would not do anything until we called customer service who has made notes about our previous call, IPad was taken back with a promise of sending out for repair at no cost other than screen repair. after 2 weeks this store is now charging us $455 for repairs and will not return the iPad. I need to mention Steve who went above and beyond to assit me with my garage door remote. He performed the research to find the correct remote as the batteries in my present one had corroded thus shortening the lifespan of the remote. He performed a temporary fix of my remote and then helped me find a vendor to purchase a new one. Steves assistance was much appreciated and it is so nice to find help like this in this day and age. Had a 'new' battery put in October - quit holding a charge in January by March it wouldn't even charge - now THEY claim it's my charge port (which THEY were shoving metal up in saying they were cleaning it) and wanted to charge me for a 'new' battery again & 'fix' the charge port - which they pbly just f'd up sticking metal objects in it!! If you're lucky or maybe super careful you'll never have to get your glass touchscreen replaced. But if you do, know that batteries plus replaces phone glass. We came by Saturday afternoon to replace a cracked Samsung screen. The guy working explained they wouldn't get it that day because of shortened weekend hours but should have it repaired within 24 hours. I purchased a battery about two yrs. ago with a three yrs. warranty.. I noticed that for the last three months I would have to jump my car at least once a month, finally I took it back to battery plus and was told that if it doesn't charge up to 10volts that would void the warranty.. I couldn't understand that.. they got it to charge up to 8volts .. so the warranty is only valid if the battery is good once it goes dead then that void it.. SMH.. Never heard thing like that.. this battery costed me around $300 and it a deep cell battery.. I'm still under the warranty but won't honor it... Made an appointment on line on a Monday to have my IPhone screen repaired on Friday. Form asks for the color of your phone (black). Arrived at my appointed time and discussed the repair with the man at the counter. Left my phone with him - he said to come back in an hour, it will be ready. Came back 3 hours later only to be told they did not have the screen for a black phone, only white) What? They couldn't have told me that Monday or Tuesday or Wednesday or Thursday or even on Friday when I was handing the guy my phone? They didnt have the courtesy to say that they were the Camp Hill store when answering the phone to let a customer know who has never been there that the Harrisburg Store is closed due to a fire! I called the store to ask if they could replace batteries in an iPhone and was told that they could do that, so I stopped in and was greeted by Ryan who was very helpful and reminded me what good customer service used to be like. After he got all the information he needed for the replacement batteries he introduced me to David the repair technician, who in my opinion is an expert in cell phone repair. Within 1/2 hour I had two new batteries installed in my cell phones and was very happy with the price and great customer service from both Ryan & David. I would give this place 10 stars out of five if I could! I recently broke the screen on my Samsung Galaxy 4 phone. I took it to several places and many either could not fix it or wanted to overcharge me and hold my phone for like 4 days. The worst was Staples. First they said $120, then it went up to $160. Ultimately they said they had to send it to the Samsung office in Texas for further diagnosis which would run an extra $69 and take 5 extra days (What a joke!) Luckily after this, someone recommended Batteries Plus Bulbs.The technician was very pleasant and made me fill out less paperwork than any of the other places. He fixed it for $100 and had it done in like 3 hours. This was so refreshing after all of the aggravation and frustration. I am now a customer for life! read more

Had a 9:30AM appointment at the 4513 Jonestown Rd, Harrisburg, PA 17109 store on 1/23/17. Arrived at 9:30AM only to be told there would be no technician until 12PM. The store manager said someone should have called me the day before to notify me, but no one did. I called at 12PM and asked if I could swing by around 1PM, they said yes and verified that the technician was there. When I arrived the store manager told me I had missed the technician, again no phone call before I came out of the way. The manager was less than apologetic when I arrived. I told him that he could have at least called me, to which he shrugged his shoulders. He then told me he had no idea when or if the technician would be back. I went across the street to the mall where Mr. Fix replaced my screen in 30 min and did it for $15 less than the price of Batteries Plus.
