I took in my well used IPhone 7 for a battery. When I picked it up the screen was having spasms (which I was warned that this type thing could happen). Mason put on a new screen to see if the home button was the issue, which it was. Mason did get grief from the store manager for thoroughly checking out my phone, to which he replied that he owed it to the customer to be thorough. That's what I call customer service and integrity! Today Mason called and left me a message to remind me that there are still a few months left on my battery warranty if I was having any issues. Again, great customer service from Mason! read more

Sent my dad there for a battery in a key fab and they broke the remote so the windows now go down when you turn the car off after returning twice to get it fixed. There answer it wait three days till a manager is on duty to make a decision on what to do. Looks like they are not sure how to run the place. Beware! I took my iPhone to the store to have the battery replaced. In doing that, the phone had a catastrophic failure and no longer works. The store offered to refund my money, but would not take any responsibility. They acknowledge that the phone was working perfectly at intake and yet, they would not take responsibility for the damage they caused. I called the corporate office and much to my surprise, they disassociated themselves with the store as it is a franchise. So, I started with a weak battery and ended with a phone that no longer works. Avoid this place! read more

I took my phone to have the battery replaced, and they ended up breaking the phone. It no longer works, at first they offered to replace the phone, then a day later, they call and state that they are going to replace the broken parts. The camera and screen in which they broke. Is batteries plus a certified iPhone repair shop? No! Additionally they expected me to go days without a working phone, which I need for work. Avoid this place at all cost, unless you want to have to go to court in order to resolve the issue and be out of pocket for a new phone in the process. read more

Well just got the shaft at Batteries Plus. One year old top of the Duracell line wouldn't hold a charge 2 days. Took car to Batteries,Plus they checked it said its fine. I may have a parasitic drain. Took car to shop $150.00 later found only draw is radio clock. Went back to Batteries Plus this third time but first took car to O Reillys they checked battery found had a dead cell. Went back to Batteries Plus said I'd have to leave battery over night. I said I'll buy new one leave old one . They said couldn't do it that day because under staffed. Went back to O Reillys bought new battery left Duracell for core charge. Car sat 5 days started up no problem . Called Batteries Plus head quarters they had Cheyenne Batteries Plus manager call me . Very rude talked over me wouldn't honor warranty. She hung up on me. Called headquarters again they wouldn't do anything. ILL NEVER BUY ANOTHER BATTERY AT BATTERIES PLUS. HOPE EVERY ONE WILL BUY ELSE WHERE TOO. read more

The X2 car battery came highly recommended from the staff as "the best battery money can buy". I purchased it and after I year (comes with a 5 year warranty), it no longer could hold a charge. I originally suspected a bad alternator, so I had it tested by two different vendors (including Ford). They both stated the battery was the culprit. I took it back twice and both times they stated the battery was good. The battery couldn't sit for two days and it was dead. Called corporate office and they stated it does not say it must keep a charge, just that it can be charged. Horrible business practice. They would not honor the warranty or make any attempt to replace. I stated, "so I'm basically screwed with a bad battery". Their respond was "pretty much". For a $300 battery and zero customer support, I was highly disappointed. When I purchased a different battery from another store, the manager claimed they see a lot of these X2 batteries fail. Wish I had been advised before purchase. Hopefully no else will be burned for purchasing a X2 car battery. After posting my review, I was contacted by the store manager Kurt who offered to resolve the problem. I brought my phone in and he fixed it within an hour. If I ever need a screen replaced again I will go back here and just ask for Kurt if there are any problems. It's nice to have a store that stands behind their products and services! read more

So, I am new to town. Having just recently moved here from northern VA, I decided that before I left it was a good idea to buy a different phone that was unlocked from a second hand company. I figured I would buy an unlocked phone, and when I got to Cheyenne, I would figure out which provider was best, and move to that provider. So! I get to Cheyenne with this second hand phone that I had purchased, ready to set out on my new life! I'm young, I have a great job and I am ready! Until, of course that phone I had purchased had a bad digitizer. So, a week and a half later, after sending it back, I get another phone from the same company. Again, I am ready! Until that phone had a bad battery, wouldn't hold a charge, and generally crapped out on me. So, I can hear something rattling around in the housing. My engineering brain tells me that it has to be the battery due to all of the issues I was having. I go to see these guys, and 56 bucks later, my phone is working perfectly. Cut forward to two days later, and while I am at work, my phone just shuts off. I'm thinking, " Great! Another problem! What's a brother gotta do to have a working phone around here?!?" Mind you, I had just gotten back from an abhorred Christmas where my girlfriend and I had split, I had been dumped in New Jersey late at night, spent 24 hours at the airport, and had dropped over 600 dollars to get back to Wyoming. Anyways, I went in with less than a great attitude, needless to say. I was so fed up at this point that I just didn't care! Afterall, I had just paid for my phone to be working, it worked great for two days, and then stopped! At the time that I had come in, there was no technician present. But, after explaining everything that was going on, Jesse, agreed to just take a quick look at it, and see what he could see. In the meantime, Jeremy suggested that I go take a look at a local store that was a few shopping centers over and check out their refurbished phones, just incase. As I am getting ready to purchase the new phone, Jesse comes running in. " Stop!' He proclaims. "I've figured it out! Don't buy one!" We speed back over to the shop, he explains what was wrong with it,(something the second hand shop had skimped on when refurbishing it), takes a part from a spare one he had, fixes it for free, and sends me on my way. I know this is a long winded explanation, but I wanted to take the time to convey how these guys went out of their way to help me. Although I am not some helpless guy, they took the time to make sure I was happy and taken care of with a smile on their faces. Highly recommended. read more

I inquired of this store whether or not they sold and installed batteries for Kindle readers. They said they did, but they needed to see my Kindle to order the battery. I took it in and they ordered the piece, telling me the battery change would only take a few minutes and I could drop the device off anytime for the work to be done and either wait, or pick it up later. That sounded great to me. So, the battery arrived and I took my Kindle in. But no, I needed to take it in when a 'tech' was there to work on it. Oh, the techs are there most days, but not that day. So, I called a couple times. Tech was too busy or not there. I get a call on a Sunday afternoon. The voice on the phone says he was calling because the battery had been there 'a while', and to let me know I could bring my Kindle in anytime and they would do the battery swap, which would not take more than '15 minutes'. So, the following day, I take the device in and explain that I'd been called the previous day and told to bring it in and that the repair would take not more than 15 minutes. The man behind the counter takes my device, saying he has to be sure the battery is still there. I had to wait several minutes to have this conversation because the man I spoke to and another man, who turned out to be the manager, were engaged in a conversation at the counter with someone who wanted to go into business with them. To begin with, the business conversation was inappropriate for a public discussion, and others, beside myself, were forced to wait several minutes while these guys chatted each other up. Anyway, I digress. The man told me the work would probably take a couple of hours at the minimum if the tech could work me in at all, and maybe I should just leave the device and they would call me when it was done. I told him I absolutely would not leave the device overnight, and that based on what I had been told, over and over again, the battery replacement should take no more than a few minutes. He then asked me for my device password and I asked why. He said they would want to make sure the device was working before they gave it back to me. I explained to him that I would happily input my password and test the device myself, in the store, once the repair was done, but no one was getting my password. Note: This device is loaded and operates like a tablet. Needless to say, I have banking information, sensitive documents, and a whole host of personal stuff on it, just like I would on a computer. He was clearly miffed by my attitude, but said OK. I went to the movies and then drove back to pick up my device. Well, the tech, their BEST tech, according to the business manager, CRUSHED MY SCREEN while putting the device back together, effectively destroying it. The HDX 7 is no longer manufactured. The manager suggested I buy a used or refurbished model. He had checked prices on those and paid me what amounted to the used price. He gave me back my Kindle, telling me the battery was free. The screen was so badly crushed that I could see clear crushing imprints the techs thumbs in it, with fractures crisscrossing at several points. The only thing keeping it together was my screen protector, which remained in place. Admittedly, I was very angry. I remain furious. Since HDX 7 is no longer manufactured, the only available new equivalent is the HDX 8.9, but to get it with Verizon capability and configured as this one was will cost me over 600 bucks with the warranty. I do not want a used device, the history of which I do not know. I took my Kindle to an electronics repair shop in Denver. They ordered a new screen, which arrived in a few days and were very confident they could make the repair. But the upshot is that, according to them, the screens they can get are aftermarket parts and very substandard. They were so unhappy with the resolution and responsiveness of the screen once it was installed that they have deemed the device unrepairable because the only parts they can get are unacceptable. I would give Batteries Plus no stars if it were at all possible. read more

Okay, so I called for an iPod classic battery. They seemed to be the only store in the northern Colorado/Cheyenne area that had one. First off, it is a "device repair part" that they won't sell to me, but they would be willing to put it in for "$60 buck or so". Are they out of their mind? In a device I've already opened, for a name brand battery that's about $20 online? A chimp could open one of these iPod classics, and they want sixty bucks to, at this point, plug in the cable. No thanks, I'll just buy what I need myself and have a nice dinner with the money I saved. I'd happily buy their battery for $20-$30 so I could get my iPod back today, but they won't sell you just the battery. I'd even be willing to lose any warranty or anything, but nope. read more
