I enjoy their selection of Christmas stuff- they always do a great job of imaginative and colorful ornaments that they put in their window displays. This place is the place to go if you need to get a new grill- they've got an impressive selection and all the accessories you could think of to go with the barbecue. When I went, they were showing off how one of their Traeger Grills works with a rack of ribs- that'll get my attention! The clerks are attentive, and they do a good job of making the space inviting and cool to look at. It's a great place to get a gift for someone on you Christmas list. From the time he first came to our house to help with the cabinets for our guest bath two years ago, Curtis has been patient and helpful. For this current project, he helped us figure out how to maximize cabinet space in the new space we would have in the kitchen after we removed a portion of one wall. He suggested the design of the bank of cabinets we added to a wall that formerly had no cabinets. He made multiple trips to our house (which is in NW San Antonio, not anywhere near the UB Kitchens SA location) to check the measurements and to reassure my husband and me after the contractor measured differently. He worked with our contractor to make sure our cabinets were installed in a timely manner. He answers my emails quickly, and always has a solution for any problem I present him. Additionally, several tiles are already chipped, despite being newly installed. When I requested that someone come out to evaluate the work, I was told that as long as it meets basic code requirements, nothing can be done. That response is extremely disappointing. This is not just about meeting minimum code--it's about delivering quality workmanship. Anyone can take off their shoes, walk across the floor, and immediately feel that something is wrong. It feels like once payment was received, customer satisfaction was no longer a priority. Overall, this has been a very frustrating experience.
