Some of the younger employees here are rude and unhelpful, to say the least. I needed help finding…read morea certain item that I wasn't aware had been discontinued a few years ago, and the girl at the front had absolutely no idea what I was talking about. I explained that the item had been sold a couple of years ago, or maybe even three or four. She proceeded to tell me that she had never heard of it, that she is only 18, and that she would have been 14 when the item came out. She then informed me that she had only been working there for a few months and therefore wasn't actually aware that the product had ever existed. Okay, cool. I didn't ask for your birth certificate. I asked if you had ever heard of the product. Then the manager came over and immediately knew exactly what I was talking about. So, props to the manager for being helpful and all around awesome. The point is, if you aren't knowledgeable about the products you currently carry (or have carried in the past) just say that. There is absolutely nothing wrong with saying, "I'm not familiar with that product, but let me see if I can find someone who is." That would have been perfectly fine. What is not helpful is confidently telling me that you've never heard of something, followed by a detailed explanation of your age and employment history, as if I had somehow asked for your résumé. And I'm sorry, but telling me that you were 14 when the item came out does not exactly strengthen your argument. It actually explains why you might not remember it. That's fine! You don't have to know everything. Just don't act like the product is a figment of my imagination because you personally don't remember it existing. Again, shoutout to the manager for knowing her products (current and discontinued). She was the real MVP!

It is a medication he cannot be without and Walgreens essentially didn't care - their suggestion was to ask the doctor for a new med, which isn't an option. Out of desperation, I called Jewel and they had a solution for me in 10 seconds. I switched my entire family here. They automatically linked all of our accounts together and when I was picking up one medication, they automatically let me know that my child's med was also ready (it had been on automatic refill and I didn't even realize it). Walgreens would have never done that. They are amazing in my book and it would take a lot to get me to go elsewhere.
