Even though I haven't been back to NM since then, I order from here online and have it shipped every six months or so. I've tried lots of other artisanal or locally made soaps but none are as nice as these. They are gentler on your skin than commercial soaps, smell less synthetic than the stuff you find at a B&BW or Lush, and the prices are similar anyway. Anyway, the honey oatmeal soap is really heavenly. I love all the citrus scents. Pine tar is very good on my eczematic skin. And the salsa soaps they have periodically are nostalgic.

We told her we would be back in ten minutes. We returned ten minutes later. She had locked the door with a note in the window that said "Return Soon" but she was still in the store. I was able to get her attention because her note was unclear as to whether she was closed for the day. She mouthed a few words which I couldn't hear or understand so I stayed at the door for another five minutes. She finally came to the door and unlocked it to tell me she was closed. When I reminded her of what she said earlier about when she would close, she said "I have been here for several hours" and just decided to close earlier. I am not sure what changed in ten minutes but we were looking forward to acquiring some of her unique ornaments. She didn't apologize or show any sympathy for closing earlier than she stated.

I ordered a product online and decided I didn't want it before even opening it and trying it. When I went to return it the woman told me I couldn't return on online order at a JCP Sephora if they didn't carry the item. Apparently loading new supplies is more important than customer service. But kudos to Ify who saved the day. She stopped what she was doing to answer my questions. I needed the pharmacy contact info to transfer my prescriptions from my Walgreen's in CA. Ify took the time to write out the info I needed. She was so pleasant and helpful!! She gets 5 starts....the rest of the staff get 1 star. The cashier was also very inept. She kept me waiting while she waited for some type of approval but never explained why she kept me waiting. She also took a long time for a simple transaction. I'm frustrated that because I use Walgreen's in CA and this is the closest one to me here, I'm stuck with them. Next time I will report my feedback the national Walgreen's chain. Yea, Ify! The rest need to get out of customer service related jobs! It doesn't seem that store management cares about customer service either.

Unfortunately doing this slows down the speed at the register, and when the line back up hard it's time to stop training for a moment and time to start checking people out already. An employee at the photo counter noticed this and opened his register which helped. Previously I've had similar difficulties at the pharmacy with the line backing up almost to the front of the store. They really need more employees here. I do get the irony of pointing out they need more employees while bitching about them training one btw. So no need to clown me.
