From marshmallow fireside, to leaves, you are bound to find a favorite candle. The Bath and Body Works at Bayshore is pretty large, and there is usually a lot of staff on site. One covering the entrance, one in the center of the store, and a couple at the checkout. They are usually pretty good with the customer service here, and are generally helpful if you are looking for a product. I find that this store runs out of some of my favorites pretty fast though. I had a difficult time this year finding candles at this location. They were always sold out of my fav's!! I enjoy how you can test the body washes, hand creams and soaps in store, as well as the perfumes and home fragrances. They usually have a deal with their candles. Buy 2 large candles for $30.00, and at the end of each season, their candles usually go on sale for $10.00. I know the products can be pricey, but the quality is fantastic, and their products are highly fragranced. For instance, if you purchase a candle that is called peppermint mocha, your home will smell like peppermint mocha!! Not only that, but this company is very generous with coupons. And hey, if you are not satisfied with a product, you are able to return it with no hassle...even if you have already used it! :)

They smell great and they are always coming out with new scents. I like that the scent doesn't linger though. You get a nice olfactory experience while you're washing your hands but then it's gone. The scents are strong, so prolonged exposure to them does give me a headache, so I never use their body sprays/fragrances or room sprays. Even their hand sanitizers are too heavily scented for me and the scent stays on your hands for too long, so I always have to get the unscented ones, or they have these new "sport" ones that aren't objectionable to me, lol. Something I really love at Bath and Body Works is their cute hand sanitizer holders that have clips on them to clip into your purse, backpack, etc. They made these long before the Covid-19 Pandemic, but since then have come out with more styles, as they became more popular. I missed out on the French Fries one and their Popcorn one, but I managed to score their Pizza one. The only negative thing is they are a bit heavy and bulky, but so cute!! The staff, for the most part, are friendly but my experience has been hit or miss. Sometimes they pounce and kind of hover a bit close, and other times I have barely been acknowledged on my way in OR out. I think this can happen anywhere though- the joys of retail! I know it's a store that sells nice smelling things, and I love that, but it really is overwhelming when you step in- so, be warned! If you're scent sensitive, this is probably not the spot for you. STAFF PRIORITIZES UPSELLING OVER ACTUAL SKINCARE NEEDS…read more I had a very disappointing experience. The staff pressured me into buying a product I did not want, ignoring my request for retinoids. Even after I expressed discomfort with the brand, they kept pushing for that one single new product that had nothing to do with treating melasma. They steered me away from the one product I trusted and knew worked for me, insisting instead on something expensive that, in reality, does not treat melasma or dark spots. It became clear their goal was not to help but to push sales and meet their targets. I even overheard when I turned last minute, Amber one of the staff members bragging to her colleague about convincing me as if it were some sort of competition. I paid around $100 for a product that does absolutely nothing for my skin. When I tried to take time to check reviews and make an informed decision, they repeatedly interrupted and pressured me to buy immediately. To make matters worse, a senior staff member approached when they noticed me checking and promised gifts and samples with the purchase but when I paid, I never received them. This was manipulative and left me feeling taken advantage of, especially as someone who came in with limited product knowledge. Be warned: do your own research, and if you know what you want, go directly for it without relying on their "advice." The staff here care more about upselling than about customer needs, and they'll push whatever is most expensive not what actually works for your skin.
