Firstly I'd like to say that this is one of the best experiences that I've ever had walking into…read moreany store in Ottawa. Today (November 3rd, 2020) my mom and I decided to stop in after driving by and instantly noticing the pretty lady in the sari guiding a couple people around the store. Let me just say it was the best decision. As we walk in we are greeted by the overall amazing zen that seems to fill the store, it's very calming and very uplifting. We were greeted by the lady in the sari who I didn't get her name sadly but she was a complete joy to speak with. She made my mom and I comfortable and answered all of our questions about anything we had. She also gave us a great lesson on the singing bowls and by the end of it we were able to play them (not as good as her lol) we ended up playing a wide array of singing bowls which was very fun and super relaxing, they sound and feel incredible. They also have an awesome selection of crystals, stones, bracelets, malas, incense and anything to align your chakras and help you meditate or cleanse your space/body. Also the scent of the store is so amazing and I wish I could bottle it and wear it as a perfume haha. I also love that they offer samples of any incense and cones for you to try and I love love love that! Especially for when I want to try new incenses without buying a whole box. They also offer very cute free handmade crystal bags made of Indian silks and fabrics when you purchase crystals/stones. I 100% absolutely recommend stopping in, wether you are a pro at using crystals, bowls, etc. or are just curious. It's a magical place that I will be coming back to time and time again. Just wish I knew about this store sooner!!

Their prices are…read morereasonable and they have a wide selection of beautiful jewelry, candles, incense, cards, agendas, singing bowls, essential oils, books and music. Oddly, their book selection isn't that diverse since it seems they mainly only have books written by Sri Chinmoy. Their music selection is mainly by him too. However, if you're looking for something else but still from that genre, Soul Matters is a couple stores down and Mother Tongue Books is one block north. The service here is sincerely pleasant and I was able to pick up a couple Christmas gifts on my travels too. Definitely check it out if this place sounds like a fit for you or anyone on your Christmas list.

I love a good greeting card store. This one has the best selection of cards for any occasion. I got one for my friend saying, "Happy birthday to my favourite vegan friend." I can't wait to give this card to her next year. Yep, I plan that far in advance. The punny cards were hysterical. We were laughing so hard in a fairly quiet store. Luckily, we weren't kicked out. Excellent cards! I also liked the stationery and writing instruments. This store carries Lamy fountain pens, which I hadn't seen in ages. I also loved these huge puffy stickers. My laptop has no room for large stickers these days. If it did, I would have bought one in a heartbeat. I also liked the pencil sharpener that had three different pencil sizes to use. Fancy! If you are looking for a gift for someone, this store had a bunch of cool suggestions. Everything from Sun Jellies totes, to candles and drinkware can be found here. There were even astronaut-themed erasers and candles. So cool! I went to pay for my card. The woman indicated that there was a sticker on the back of the card that may be an issue. Maybe I'm so used to taking off stickers from any surface that I did it at the store without any hesitation. Done! I paid for my card with a debit card. The transaction was smooth. I got my card with an envelope in a small paper bag. The woman at this store was friendly and cared about the quality of her items that customers were about to possess. It was a wonderful find. I'd love to go back when I'm in the neighbourhood again. Cards and perhaps a new fountain pen await. (283)

They have the…read moremost amazing seasonal collections, and the holidays would not be the same without Bath and Body Works candles around the home. From marshmallow fireside, to leaves, you are bound to find a favorite candle. The Bath and Body Works at Bayshore is pretty large, and there is usually a lot of staff on site. One covering the entrance, one in the center of the store, and a couple at the checkout. They are usually pretty good with the customer service here, and are generally helpful if you are looking for a product. I find that this store runs out of some of my favorites pretty fast though. I had a difficult time this year finding candles at this location. They were always sold out of my fav's!! I enjoy how you can test the body washes, hand creams and soaps in store, as well as the perfumes and home fragrances. They usually have a deal with their candles. Buy 2 large candles for $30.00, and at the end of each season, their candles usually go on sale for $10.00. I know the products can be pricey, but the quality is fantastic, and their products are highly fragranced. For instance, if you purchase a candle that is called peppermint mocha, your home will smell like peppermint mocha!! Not only that, but this company is very generous with coupons. And hey, if you are not satisfied with a product, you are able to return it with no hassle...even if you have already used it! :)
