My friend and I popped in to Terra20 to get some much needed relief from the sun and humidity on a hot July day. This store offers a number of eco-friendly products.
The cool part of this store is the ecobar. You bring an empty container and fill it up with whatever you need, from laundry detergent to shampoo. Your filled container is weighed and you only pay for the fill itself.
I like the concept of reducing packaging and reusing containers. I don't know exactly how much fills cost, but I am guessing that it depends on what products you have selected.
This store features Andalou Naturals, a line of natural facial products that I like. Prices run high, as with pretty much everything in this store. It does have some sales items, so all hope isn't lost.
I loved the reusable straws. You can choose from silicone, glass, and stainless steel.
The natural cosmetics section was neat. The nail polish caught my attention, as did the lipsticks.
The coolest item that I saw was a cap that converts your mason jar into a sprayer. Sadly, it was sold out. My friend also commented on how great this product looked.
It's street parking to drop by this store. You can save a bit by parking on a side street.
I enjoyed browsing. It's a cute store with a clear goal to reduce waste and reuse containers.
