When I shopped in this store, I liked the selection of merchandise, and I thought that the prices were low, such as $13 for a tank top, to moderate, such as $30 for a tank top and $42 for a sundress. I picked out a pair of Calvin Klein underwear that were on clearance and two dog toys that were on sale. I used the self-checkout. With tax and after redeeming $10 of Kohl's Cash, I paid only $23 for the entire purchase. These three items were a very high quality, and I feel happy that I got a very good deal on them.

Now, every time I go I feel like I'm in a seconds store that is just a chaotic, disorganized mess. They typically only have one set of registers open, so there are often lines. Signage in the store is often incorrect (sale prices listed for items that aren't on sale, items in the wrong place etc). There are price checkers throughout the store but those often aren't working either. Clothes seem to be haphazardly thrown together on racks. I want to be able to quickly find something in my size, not feel like I'm on a poorly mapped out treasure hunt. Prices seemed to have increased dramatically with a lower selection and lackluster service. They do occasionally have some good sales, but you really have to be diligent to see if what you think is on sale actually is on sale. It isn't the worst place to shop, but I wish they'd fix some of these issues and be more like it was before.

It is easy to find the departments that you want and there is space to move around within the departments. They were also pretty well organized and stocked. Associates seemed to be quick to pick up and organize anything that wasn't in the right place. It could potentially be a one stop shop for things like all your back to school needs. Make sure you check for coupons because they almost always have coupons (on top of their usual sales). The one down side is that while it seems like there are plentiful sales associates, it was surprisingly hard to track down an open register when I wanted to cash out. Overall, though, a great place to shop.

During my most recent visit, I shopped mostly in the women's section, and I thought that the store had a good selection. I saw designer brands such as Calvin Klein and also name brands. The store was having a holiday sale for Memorial Day weekend, and most merchandise was discounted. The only constructive feedback that I have is for checkout lines to have shorter wait times.

The other one was $8, however, it was extremely tiny. As in the size of a quarter. Not worth it, because it was so small you couldn't even really tell what it was. The store is clean and easy to navigate. Also, they do have some really cute gifts, I'm just not willing to pay the prices they are asking. My main reason for the 3 star review (more like 2.5, but I'll give them the benefit of the doubt) is the staff. Not that the customer service was lacking. On the contrary. I was approached by three different sales people, one of them on two occasions. It was just really over the top and annoying. I'm not sure if they thought I was trying to steal something or really trying to just make a sale. But, regardless, it is a card store. I can find my way around. It's not really the kind of place that you need assistance at. And if I am in need of assistance, I will ask. Needless to say, I left empty handed.

But the two sales girls immediately began giving me compliments and practically asking my whole life story. It felt nice even if it was just a sales pitch, haha! It also worked. I got a little gift for the bride and an elephant cork stopper for myself. One use later and the cork broke already. Definitely going to try and return it soon as I find the receipt. This store has super cute clothes and amazing accessories beyond just bags and jewelry. Lots of cute home and gift options. But they are overpriced. The store is pretty tiny compared to the others in the Pittsburgh area, and it looked like they probably receive less product due to the reduced size. However, I think it's a great addition to the mall. The selection of apparel, handbags, and jewelry was descent, and I definitely browsed around for a while. I spoke briefly with a sales associate who had a fun and quirky personality. I'll definitely pop back in the store again in the future!

My boyfriend, however, comes in here multiple times throughout the year and I accompany him. The main reason he chooses to shop here is because of the quality of their clothes. For an 'XL' man who enjoys working with his hands in his spare time, this place offers him shirts that last through years of laundry washes and jean's that don't rip when he kneels or bends. DXL does tend to be on the pricey side, but to counteract their prices they send out lots of coupons for their rewards members. He has received coupons before his Birthday and Christmas, that I know of, as well as other standard coupons that are sent to all of their rewards members throughout the year. A lot of people think this place sells dress clothes only, but they're wrong. They have sports apparel, graphic tees, jean's of all fits, accessories, dress shoes and sneakers, and even their own fragrance Zephyrwood cologne/candle/air freshener/lotion. This is just to name a few. The employees at this particular location are quite knowledgeable about the apparel they sell. I have heard them discuss the differences between different types of jean's materials, watched them help a customer build a suit for a night out, and even give tips about what they think looks best together.
