The owner and staff are very nice and helpful. It's a lot of fun to go to during a First Friday gallery crawl in Garfield. One comment I can make about it is that they always have exactly what I need at the right time in a synchronistic way. In other words, this shop is pure magic. Make sure you check it out the next time you are in this part of town. I feel grateful to have a shop like this which is walking from my house. As I am writing this we may possibly in the beginning states of a recession as we are in the midst of a global pandemic in March of 2020. They have an online website where you can order The shop is still open and the owner and staff are incredibly accomodating during this time. They were very responsive and fulfilled my order very quickly with the most excellent customer service you could imagine via a delivery to my house. I don't know if they do this often but keep in mind I live very close. I got those candles I desperately needed just in time for the upcoming planetary day/hour and election. So they were there when I really needed them. Make sure you support this business and other independent business like this during this time. These are my favorite kinds of shops. If I was traveler from out of town, this is the kind of place I'd look forward to going to.

At this Bath & Body Works, an employee at the entrance immediately greeted me and told me about…read moresales. The store was having a sale for hand soaps. The regular price was $7.50 per hand soap, but the sale was six hand soaps for $26 total. I have previously purchased some of these hand soaps, and they lather and cleanse well and have pleasant scents. I also purchased a small hand sanitizer for $2. At the checkout counter, one customer was ahead of me in line. After a small wait, a friendly cashier rang up my items, carefully bagged them, and wished me a good day. In addition to hand soaps and hand sanitizers, Bath & Body Works also sells body washes, shower gels, body scrubs, body lotions, hand creams, lip balms, body sprays, perfumes, and home fragrances. They have dozens of scents, and some of my favorites are Peach Bellini, Black Cherry Merlot, and Kitchen Lemon.

While there are several retail outlets around and growing, I could not find any retail near me and did not want to go across town in the winter snows to the shop, so I did my shopping at their great online store. These are great for gifts also, so I ordered several some for me and some for others. When I had some questions, Greta was very helpful and kind and provided excellent suggestions and great can't be beat customer service. My order was shipped and received promptly. Again great service you only get from dedicated artist owners. Now I can not really defend getting our candles from anywhere else.

I attended a pour party for a baby shower and selected nutmeg cedar and strudel as my scents. You add the scents, pour the wax and then create a sticker for your scent. You then have an hour to explore other Oakmont businesses or dine out while you wait for the candles to set. Pick them up and head on your way! Parking is limited at the actual shop, so street parking is recommended.
