For the bridal shower, the bride picked out 6 pre-made scents for the shower guests to choose from for their candles. This made it much easier and smoother for the shower to stay on schedule, while still being a fun experience of making your own candle. I'd love to see them expand into soaps one day! The business in my area also offers gel hand soaps which is another great option. Staff here were so kind and you can tell they love doing what they do. Highly recommend this woman owned and run business if you're looking for something different to do!

The regular price was $7.50 per hand soap, but the sale was six hand soaps for $26 total. I have previously purchased some of these hand soaps, and they lather and cleanse well and have pleasant scents. I also purchased a small hand sanitizer for $2. At the checkout counter, one customer was ahead of me in line. After a small wait, a friendly cashier rang up my items, carefully bagged them, and wished me a good day. In addition to hand soaps and hand sanitizers, Bath & Body Works also sells body washes, shower gels, body scrubs, body lotions, hand creams, lip balms, body sprays, perfumes, and home fragrances. They have dozens of scents, and some of my favorites are Peach Bellini, Black Cherry Merlot, and Kitchen Lemon.

I attended a pour party for a baby shower and selected nutmeg cedar and strudel as my scents. You add the scents, pour the wax and then create a sticker for your scent. You then have an hour to explore other Oakmont businesses or dine out while you wait for the candles to set. Pick them up and head on your way! Parking is limited at the actual shop, so street parking is recommended.

If you make it past the books, which admitted took me some time, you will find all other kinds of various items, from clothes to toys to garden supplies. If you get through that there is some stationary, home goods, fishing rods, baseball bats. Some more looking you can find laminate flooring, cleaning supplies and food. This place reminds me of a chaotic Big Lots. I love Big Lots, but I was feeling overwhelmed here. I think Big Lots, at least the stores I go to, are relatively organized. This place is the epitome of a clutter and disarray. I usually thrive under a little pandemonium shopping but I couldn't do it here. I spent probably an hour wondering about just to leave short of a panic attack and with the solo purchase of a jump rope to do double Dutch in the parking lot while my mind returned to order.
