This long established florist shop handles all the things florists do, yet made me feel like I was the most important client they had when I called. They are right across the street from West Penn Hospital and I unexpectedly had a loved one admitted there. The arrangements they delivered were amazing and definitely cheered up the patient. I paid $10 extra for the largest size. They called to say they would need to make substitutions and that replacement flowers could be extra. I'm a very disappointed customer. For $65 & $10 to deliver and tax for a grand total of $80.25 the bouquet was ok at best. While the lillies were pretty, several roses wilted after just a couple of days and one had petals falling off. It looked like a $25 bouquet from ShopRite. The website is very misleading as the bouquets for $40-$60 look significantly better, like three times, than what was received. While I know it's the thought that counts, my friend was in the hospital and I'm disappointed in the quality of what was delivered. Don't recommend! Terrible experience. Price was not disclosed at time of request and there was no follow up phone call which the owner Ron had admitted to. I went to the shop to amend the situation by requesting a partial refund, he told me that roses were $7 each the others were $5 each and the vase was $20. I brought the product with me to show that I did not receive what he was saying I should have received. He agreed to give a $50 credit back to the card as long as the bad review was taken down. Bribing a customer to take down bad reviews goes against ftc guidelines which I'm sure with how poorly Ron handles complaints (by blaming the customer and not taking accountability) probably does not know the basic fundamentals of business management. The $50 is worth spreading the word on the two negative experiences, which he denied. read more

This shop has the worst customer service. I ordered flowers for my Mother and the order was completely incorrect - the flowers were different and the wrong colors, the vase was different and it was missing the bow. After I called to inquire about the discrepancies, the florist returned to her office, took the flowers for 30 minutes and returned with a hideous "bow". Not only was the situation completely embarrassing, it still was not what I had ordered. When I said I would not pay the $75 for it, he returned again to her office and took the flowers and told me that I was going to get nothing! Save yourself the trouble and order from somewhere else. If he put half as much energy into trying to please his customers as he did responding to negative reviews, he would probably have a much better business! read more

Ron was my Pittsburgh florist for many years. His bouquets were always beautiful. Even when I wanted to send flowers out of state, I'd call Ron and he'd take my order and refer it on - he made sure to find someone who'd do a great job. Now, that's service! Now I live in Florida, but I needed to send flowers to a Pittsburgh friend today, so I picked up the phone and called Ron. He remembered me and we reminisced for a bit. He's always kind and we made plans to have lunch the next time I'm in the Burgh. Nice, nice man. And his arrangements are done with love. What more can you ask for? read more

I ordered the "Love Sweet Love" deluxe arrangement for $95. The arrangement I received was standard size at best and contained 5 roses instead of the 20 spray roses featured in the photo. The roses were over shadowed by huge floppy carnations. The arrangement was minature and did not come close to the picture or the description. Why post a picture if you have no intention on attempting to deliver a comparable arrangement? My same day delivery also did not happen. The stuffed fish bowl was delivered late morning the following day. No customer service or concern was offered in response to my disappointment with the presentation. My ill family member had a number of flowers arrangements sent -- mine from Leone's Floral was the most costly and didnt come close to the other beautiful floral displays. Chose another florist--- there are so many others. This one gets an F and deserves zero stars. read more

I cannot say enough great things about this Florist. However, I will start off by saying how fantastic Ron Leone and his staff are. I came into his shop to inquire about wedding flowers and the selection was great. Ron was a true professional and really knows the business. The price was very affordable and, to make a long story short, when I walked into my wedding location I was overwhelmed with how perfect everything was. It was far beyond my expectations. Ron even took the time to set my wedding runner! The flowers were fresh and the centerpieces were full and lush. My guests were amazed at how perfect the reception and the ceremony flowers were.
