Foxfire made made creating my own candle so easy and enjoyable from start to finish. Devon was incredibly helpful, friendly, and made the whole process feel special. There were so many amazing scents to choose from and blend together, it was so hard to narrow it down to just my favorite three or four! And how do you know which scents blend with which?! That's where Devon steps in and she crafts her special magic and helps us know how and why certain scents go together. I loved being able to create something completely personalized from my scent, to picking out the container, to creating a label and name for my candle - it was also personalized! The atmosphere was cozy, creative, inviting, and relaxing - the perfect spot for a fun outing or a girls' day (we ended up using this at my special birthday treat for my friend since her birthday was around the corner). The amazing smells of the candles quickly drew me in, and I couldn't leave without buying one of their travel sized candles. I went for the "Isra" scent, and I cannot speak highly enough of it! The owner explained to me that she had gone through trial and error, finding fragrances that are strong enough to fill your home, but gentle enough to not cause headaches or migraines. She was right -- this small candle has filled my office with a sweet, cozy smell for days and no headaches (for once!). I love that they are made entirely of soy and have all-cotton wicks, making them a more natural alternative to what you buy at a store. We came in late (due to the limited parking) so I missed the name of our instructor but she was friendly and knowledgeable. I believe it's about $55-60 per person and each person gets to make two 7oz candles. Personalized touches Include: scent choice and naming the candle. The scents here are great! It was fun exploring all the different notes and profiles. The class is about an hour and everything is provided. As a "student" you get to melt down your wax, smell/ pick your scents, mix scents, pour wax, mix the candle, add your wick, and label your candle. The process is really fast. The longest part is waiting for your candle to cool down/ dry. We were given an estimate between 3.5-4 hours. So plan your day around the area or come in the following day for pick up.
