Their wrapping paper is always unique, and I can usually find cards for any occasion. I also like the high quality gift items in the store, even if some of them are out of my price range. On visits where I didn't have kids with me, the service inside the store was helpful and friendly. Parking is shared in a huge lot, so there's usually a lot of it. The only downside is that during peak times, the area can be really crowded and take awhile to get in and out of. I try to visit earlier in the day or on a weekday to help avoid this. I know Hallmark is a chain, but prefer the small local feel of the shop. I'll be back and recommend others visit as well!

I asked her what time she closed and she said 5 o'clock but if I couldn't make it there by five she would wait for me until I could get there. Although it wasn't necessary for her to wait, I was so impressed with her kindness to get my order to me! Nowadays nobody's willing to wait anymore , everybody's in such a rush and I was totally impressed with her gesture. I will always get my cards from Amy's Hallmark now! It also supports a local business so that makes it even better!

Just bought it Friday, it's now Sunday. The girl started to ask a lot more questions than usual, then per usual asked if I'd like to exchange. Personally i just decided that i needed the money for Christmas presents right now and that my hair can wait until I'm done with that. It honestly just felt like she thought i had something up my sleeve and I just thought maybe with all the questioning she was just trying to avoid a return on her sales for the day, i don't know really. But there was a lot more questions and a lot of pauses. Then she just announced that she couldn't do it. There was one thing i was trying to return that was not on the receipt which i thought was odd since i bought it all at the same time. It was soon discovered that my other sales rep at the other location forgot to charge me for it during our great conversation (Olentangy location) so i offered to just give it back and do a return on the other stuff. She just handed me the receipt and said maybe they would know my face better at the other location and could just return it there. I was completely bewildered by that statement and just said look I'm not trying to steal, I'm trying to do an honest thing here by giving back the item that wasn't paid for and returning the other items that were.. she just handed back the receipt and said sorry. I wouldn't have been so angry if she would have had a better attitude. THAT makes all the difference towards all time great customer satisfaction. I ended up going back to the original store that i bought the product from and had a better experience!! We sorted out that I was in fact never charged for the mixing bowl by accident and they accepted me just giving it back to them. Everything else was sorted out too. Just be kind to one another. Isn't that how Ellen ends her show?

I just can never bring myself to spend the full price on any of Yankee's stuff, even though it's top notch stuff, it's just my frugality. I WILL, however, spend a bunch of money on their clearance items!!! Bought a bunch of little candles for future gifts and feel good about paying less than $5 each because even though you can get larger candles for that same price, Yankee's quality is top notch and I do also love the jars they come in! I also love that the jars can be re-used b/c the stickers just peel right off, which is nice. Then I can just have a sleek un-named candle that looks a little more simple and modern. I don't go to the mall barely ever, but I will usually try to stop in here when I can to see if there's anything on sale!

The staff was nice and quick to offer help despite how busy they were. Sales also always make everything better so between my birthday freebie, buy 2 get 2 free, plus the special promo on the select holiday candles I got a lot of great discounts. Good value that way. Now the reason for the missing star is that Yankee Camdke still has work to do on sustainability. Yes the candles are glass so easy to recycle, but many are paraffin wax which is icky for the environment and burns pretty dirty. I was able to find a small number that was very eco (recycled glass, soy coconut blend, and cork tops), but there were only like 5 scents. Always fun to smell all the great options and get some nice gifts for family.

The staff was very helpful as I tried on a dress I had been eyeballing through the window and they even brought me in several pairs of shoes to try on with the dress. When they brought in the cardigan that went fantastic with the dress I knew I was heading for a plastic meltdown so I politely asked for a card with the name of the dress on it and will go back when hopefully it is reduced some. I brought my clutch back to exchange with the tags attached and receipt 35 days after date of purchase. Come to find out Kate Spade only offers 30 days for any returns or exchanges..... needless to say both my husband and I were shocked about this. If my husband knew this he would have never bought the clutch in the beginning or just gone to Nordstrom's to see if they carried it. My husband and I always buy designer purses and wallets because of the warranty and customer service that comes with it. The manager was Nice enough to let me exchange however what I picked out was $100 less than the original item and she was not Willing to refund my husbands CC. Now I get it if I came in 90 days after date of purchase or the tags weren't attached but that was not the case at all. And she wasn't willing to make the exception. Even when my husband purchased the clutch the sales associate didn't tell him you only have 30 days to return/exchange this. And he told her this was a bday gift. So note to self I will never buy kate spade again unless MAYBE it's from Nordstrom's. And don't buy gifts for Someone from Kate Spade bc if you buy it in advance you'll be screwed. Bc like me I got it a week Ago and didn't have the chance to get our full money back! Very disappointing coming from such a high end and well known brand like Kate Spade..... I would like to update my review..... I sent an email to corporate about this not thinking anything would come of it but boy was I wrong. They contacted me asking for my information and what location it was. About a week later I got an email from Sydney who was the Asst store lead apologizing for the situation and told me to bring the gift card and receipt back and she would refund me my Money. When I got to the store she was very warm and friendly, apologized numerous times that this had happened and at kate Spade they try to make things right for the client. She was super sweet!!!! I told her the fact that corporate contacted her and she reached out to me personally to make the situation right speaks volumes and it does! I now have a much different outlook on Kate Spades customer service!! I am Not changing my review from a 1 Star to 5 star. PS I ended up getting the Sylvia large wristlet is blustery pink color and have gotten soooo many compliments on it! highly Recommend it.
