Amanda goes above and beyond to help us every time we go. She always tells us about the great promotions going on, new fragrance or products released, and other fun information about the Bath & Body Works brand. Ok so it Bath and Body Works. Usually, the staff is friendly and upbeat. However, during high traffic times, like the semi-annual sales, this can not be guaranteed. And for a good reason. Customers can be "interesting", which I personally from my experience in multiple retail jobs. However, this location and their staff yesterday was so positive and pleasant during the semi-annual sale - shout out to the staff working from 1:30-2:30 pm on 6/11/22. At the door, there was a positive monitor, made jokes, and controlled the crowd well. Once inside, I found a great rep who allowed me to ask any question. I asked about 10 ( I don't know why, just asking things about items I wanted to try or where I could find products). You can tell she was super busy stocking items and addressing questions but never once did it without a small and positive demeanor. I think she was the floor lead and she did an excellent job. I know these time of the year is not easy, but the staff did it with grace and professionalism. I will make it a point to come to this location more often. I don't shop at BBW too often, only when ai run out or come to semi-annual sales. Staff can be stressed. But not this time. Great job! read more

This location is another one of my favs to come and shop. The employee's are always friendly and willing to help you select the best deals for your pocket. This location is set up so nicely with displays of bath bombs, hand lotion, soap the list goes on. It always smells so yummy in here. But the check out efficiency was on par with Aldi, that is to say, lightening FAST!! I don't usually write reviews for big chain places. I mean, you know... they're big chains and they tend to lean pretty strongly toward the "you've seen one, you've seen 'em all," side of things. However, I make exceptions when I receive unusually good or unusually bad customer service. This time, I'm happy to report, the customer service I received was outstanding. The store was, of course, clean and all smell-goody, like Bath & Body Works tends to be. Plus (joy!) they've revived an old favourite scent from way back in 19blankity-blank so yay for me! None of that stuff really matters a whole lot on the yelp scale, in my opinion. I mean, that's how Bath & Body Works *should* be, right? One of the things I absolutely hate about big chain stores is that normally one of two things happens. Either the sales people follow you around like whippets hunting foxes or they are nowhere to be seen. I mean, it's pretty much one of those two extremes or the other. I usually walk out of stores shaking my head wondering why I didn't just buy online like I usually do. But the customer service I received at this particular Bath & Body Works was wonderful. Yes, there was a sales clerk milling about near the door pretending to straighten things who started with the "may I help you find somethings" but as soon as I said, "no thanks - just browsing," she smiled, said, "Great! Take your time and let me know if you have any questions!" What. A. Relief. I cannot STAND pushy sales people so I was incredibly happy that I was left alone to browse at my leisure without someone trying to drag me over to try out the latest scent that smells either like a Jolly Rancher candy or something my grandma would wear. And when I had questions, the staff were helpful without being obtrusive. Best of all, the girl behind the counter helped me save a few dollars when it was time to check out, which I truly appreciated. Can't remember if I've ever been in this location before. I seem to always forget about it and opt for the large mall. But this a great store. Shi was the associate in the store today and she was superb! She offered suggestions and supported me in finding both scents for the body and home. The store is very clean and organized. Easy to navigate through and I appreciate the ample parking. Best of all I got my flashback scent and was able to finally use my B&BW coupon. read more

Of all the B&BW's I've been in, this one is definitely my favorite. The employees are all super friendly, not pushy, but also just genuine and helpful. Usually you can quickly tell if an employee is being fake for the sake of getting a sale, but if that's how the girls here operate, they had me fooled. I went in once just window shopping, and ended up going back to this one for all of my Christmas shopping, even though there is another one closer to me. Parking in the mall can be a nightmare during Christmas, but is worth it! read more

The clerk let us know the specials and the sales which was nice and we took advantage of them the lady who helped us was very polite and friendly and helpful i dont know her name but she had a deep irish or British accent very lovely BUT!!! the guy working with her (STORE MANAGER) wasn't friendly at all no hello no eye contact kinda snotty NO CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS. HE SEEMS BITTER AND ANGRY AT THE WORLD!!! other then that it was a good experience. (Update) Went again 1-31-19 4 pm with some friends and again the girls working where amazing and once again the store manager was rude and snotty and not friendly. I dont know what his issue is but As we where shopping he spent a good 20 min chatting and hugging his friends in the middle of the store while we had to walk around the 3 of them holding court. UNTIL the pipes in the ceiling BURST!!!!! yes burst flooding the whole place and he was like a deer in headlights lost and didnt know what to do. He kept running into the backroom. The one smart thing he did was turn the lights off. Cause of the water. he didnt really care about the safety of the 4 customers in the store. Didnt usher us out didnt say be careful nothing. Horrible management skills TERRIBLE. His employees where very helpful and made sure the customers where safe and helped us exit the store which was now flooding they where even grabbing mops and doing what they could to try and fix this crazy situation even the person i was with when we left said wow the guy there( the manager) is a real nasty not friendly person no personality wow. i shop here for convenience close to my house but ill travel farther for a more pleasant experience. I dont need a additude especially from a store manager. For no reason. I spend lots of money here your not doing me a favor by taking my money... I shop at the one in old orchard,Harlem and irving,on thouhy and central in niles, and golf mill, and gurnee and i never ever had the treatment and experience i had at this location. I love Bath and Body Works. It's one of my happy places. This is really an endorsement of the chain as a whole, but this particular store tends to be the one I visit most, and have never had a bad experience. The employees have always been friendly, but not overly friendly. I was able to exchange a soap that didn't have a working pump. I was a bit nervous that I wouldn't be able to since I didn't have the receipt on me and had bought it at the one at Landmark Century (RIP to that one, I don't know why they closed it for a CVS), but had no problem at all. Of course, it smells fantastic here, and I wind up walking out with lots of products. Thanks to all of the coupons, special offers, and sales, I'm not totally broke, but a good portion of my paycheck does go here! read more

Megan is so nice! She has been so helpful every time I've visited. This location also has a lot of merchandise from Bath & Body Works' sister brand, White Barn. They also have a lot of merchandise from the C.O. Bigelow collection, which is fantastic. I've noticed that a lot of Bath and Body Works stores have a limited selection of merchandise. Not this one! I have been shopping at this location for about 8 years. In that time the management and staff have changed like the Chicago winds. But one thing that has never changed was the focus on customer service. I own a business, a business like Bath and Body Works that serves the public. I like my store to smell good and I only purchase your 3-wick candles to treat my guests with scents of each season. My guests notice the aromatics in my shop and comment on it frequently (I am a great promoter of your candles). I digress....your staff though frequently changing is always attentive, educating and friendly. It is retail, so I understand the turnover and that will never change. But it is evident to me that your commitment to excelling in customer service will not change. Keep up the good work guys! read more

First, this is a review of Bath and Body Works product and pricing, not this particular store. The folks who work here are kind and attentive, and deserve 5 stars. No, this is to blast BBW for raising their prices 20% on hand soap that I buy regularly. I started buying their oh-so-fragrant hand soap several years ago because it was the only way I could tell if my kids washed their hands and actually used soap. The phrase, 'Let me smell' either brought their hands up to my face where I could easily detect the scent of jasmine vanilla or orange ginger, or, sent them scurrying back to the sink to properly wash their hands. I also liked it because it was NOT an anti-bacterial hand soap - and, it's actually hard to find liquid hand soap that's not anti-bacterial. I'd always buy about a dozen during their semi-annual sales, along with scented body lotion. We'll, they've raised their prices in one of those 'we'll make the package smaller and hope no one notices' dealies. While the price is lower for the new 8 oz. bottle, it still works out to a 21% price increase over the previous cost for a 12 oz. bottle. Now that my kids are older and (mostly) understand why they need to use soap to properly was their hands, I'll be looking for something else to use. Oh, and I agree with Amy H. - they're constantly discontinuing scents and products I like. I'm sure that's intentional on their part. read more

I love the products here, especially the body lotions that have floral fragrance (such as, lavender and butterfly flower or gardenia). I was happy that I found some of my favorite fragrances, such as, Japanese cherry blossom, moonlight path, honeysuckle bouquet, Lavender chamomile and Lavender vanilla. I received a gift card several months ago. After finishing a 1-hour yoga class, I decided to treat myself to a few things. What I noticed right away is that there are more fragrances here with "food" scents. For example, caramel pumpkin swirl, banana nutmeg bread pudding, garden strawberry, green apple orchard, vanilla berry sorbet and frosted cupcake. I could never understand why anyone would want to smell like a frosted cupcake or banana nutmeg bread pudding. If I want to smell like any of these I'll bake the banana nutmeg bread pudding myself. They used to have a lot more fragrances that were in the floral family, but now I guess most people want to smell like food, which explains the "food" fragrances they now offer. Yes, the employees were pleasant, but I don't need to be hounded like bubble-gum underneath my shoe while I walk around the store looking for something so I can use up my gift card and get the hell out of there. I also noticed that their prices have gone up, and there aren't too many "specials" offered anymore. Some of my favorite fragrances have been discontinued (yeah, it has been a while since I've been to one of these stores). This location is in a busy area, so traffic was a royal pain in the ass. The store is spacious, clean and well organized. I only shop here if I get a "Gift Card" for Bath & Body Works. The employees here are probably told to "be pushy" when it comes to sales. They can be a bit over-the-top obnoxious, but I guess they are just doing their jobs. read more

I came into this location on August 5th to buy my monthly supply of hand soap and sanitizers. This is one location that looks good because the last location I went to looked like they just didnt care about the appearance of the store. It also smells clean and pleasant and the salespeople are not pushy and are happy you come in to pick up your favorite scents and products. The best thing is that they have sales that are very helpful for people who are trying to maintain their love of fancy bath items in a tight economy when people's finances are limited. It's also nice when they come out with new stuff and getting rid of the scents that are not working in their stores and believe me they had some they should have 86ed a long time ago. This one of the few locations I'll go to that's clean and orderly and has no pushy salespeople. read more

It's the best shop in the world. They have the best discounts. If this sore closed down my life would be ruined. My life NEEDS bath and body works. This sore comes up with the greatest smells, and hand sanitizers!!!! Usually employees tell people to buy a lot, but there employees help you not spend a lot! One time I was there, and I had a whole bunch of expensive stuff in my bag. An employee came over and helped me find a sent like endless weekend, but it was only $3.
