I visited the Burlington Mall store to buy candles as a gift. The sales associate was very helpful,…read morebut the cashier, Angel, was rude and unprofessional. She poorly wrapped the candles with a single tissue, and when we asked for proper wrapping so they would not break, she refused, claimed she was the store manager (though her name tag didn't say so), and threw tissue at us. She ignored us despite no line at checkout. Very disappointing customer service.

The store is SUPER overstocked, with barely any people in the store. It always gets around 6-10 people in there every time I walk in there. Had a job interview with this woman with a Karen-Hair cut, and she was actually pretty nice and respectful. But when she started telling me about herself, she started randomly crying and talking about how yankee candle is her career, and she doesn't see it as "Just a job." . Good for her, but like... ummm? She told me that she will have an update for me 2 weeks from then, to let me know if I got accepted or not. 2 weeks turned into 5 weeks. Called the store one day out of curiosity when I've long then applied elsewhere and got another job, and I could never get in touch with her. Sales associate on the phone kept talking about how she was out and would be in the following weekend or the next day. I just hung up and went about my day. The store is pretty nice, but I don't know if I would work for the manager. Don't know her name, but she seems pretty weird and constantly annoyed when people come into the store. Like she doesn't want to be bothered.

I attended their candle making workshop which was so much fun. Jax walked us through scent…read morecombinations so we could each make a custom scent. The class was $60 and each person made two large candles. Normal candles from the shop are $32 each so this is a great deal to get a custom scented candle. The candles were ready for pickup next day and I've enjoyed burning them at home. They also have a great collection of premade candles with even more scents. I'm partial to #76 which had a watery floral scent

So much fun! Took a candle making workshop with a friend for their birthday and had such a great…read moretime. It was $60 per person which is worth the price since you get so much out of it. We had their last time slot of the day and it was a full class. Before the class started we were able to explore the shop a bit and there were so many candles and accessories. It's so cute inside! Our instructor Mossi was amazing and very knowledgeable about the different types of scents and combinations. It was so much fun figuring out which scents I resonated the most with. We also got to smell everyone's scent combinations which was cool knowing that scents smell different to every person. After the class, we got a small discount on any additional items we wanted to purchase that day. I got this really cool dirty martini candle and a wick dipper. Heads up that candle pick up is the next day so the wax can settle. They will hold your candles for two weeks but after that they will burn them in the store. During the workshop, the store ran out of one of the scents my friend wanted to use. We made it work and found a substitute but the during pickup we found a note, a slip for another workshop and a small candle to make up for the inconvenience. That was so nice of them! As for my candle, I don't think I can recreate it anywhere else. It's only been two weeks and I've already burned through most of one of them because it smells so good. The scents actually last and linger in any space you put them in. I 100% recommend this place whether you want to try a workshop, give this experience as a gift or just stop by to smell the candles. Heads up it's BYOB. You don't have to drink but you're able to bring something if you want.

I want to love it... funky store, very interesting. But it seems that each time I walk in, "I can't…read moreget no, satisfaction" - its a funky place that requires adult supervision and navigation assistance. And that is not what I have gotten. :-( Which is a bummer. The FIRST time I walked in, the cute owner was being interviewed by local news folk... and with all that attention, there was zero attention for in-coming clients. The second and third and forth times I've been in... not full... not a lot of people... same thing. I will keep trying until I get some help. Which is weird from what I hear from the CN's fans. Condiments, teas, do-it-yourself scrubs, masks, oils, soaps, planters with all kinds of cute little succulents. You'd think you are in a magic shop somewhere Harry Potter may ask Hermione or Snape to whip up (so he can get a table at the Railtrail when it's at peak craziness!). A little bit hippy, a lot new age, it's a store of wonders. But it's not for everyone. My 18 year old won't be caught in this beautiful little store. I hope I get caught (by the staff) and get a guided tour and introduction to something new - I'm a sucker for body scrubs...

Crose Nest made GORGEOUS spice blend vials for the favors at my wedding. We chose Black Lava Salt and a golden Mesquite seasoning, and Kinsey (the lovely owner of Crose Nest) layered them in glass vials, creating beautiful landscapes. You can choose from SO many spices, or create teas, bath blends, etc - so many options for cooking, drinking, and pampering! Kinsey put each vial in a beautiful linen drawstring bag, and hand-stamped our custom wedding stamp on the front of each one. Our guests were delighted by these favors. I can't recommend this service from Crose Nest enough!
