She told me that she will have an update for me 2 weeks from then, to let me know if I got accepted or not. 2 weeks turned into 5 weeks. Called the store one day out of curiosity when I've long then applied elsewhere and got another job, and I could never get in touch with her. Sales associate on the phone kept talking about how she was out and would be in the following weekend or the next day. I just hung up and went about my day. The store is pretty nice, but I don't know if I would work for the manager. Don't know her name, but she seems pretty weird and constantly annoyed when people come into the store. Like she doesn't want to be bothered.

We had their last time slot of the day and it was a full class. Before the class started we were able to explore the shop a bit and there were so many candles and accessories. It's so cute inside! Our instructor Mossi was amazing and very knowledgeable about the different types of scents and combinations. It was so much fun figuring out which scents I resonated the most with. We also got to smell everyone's scent combinations which was cool knowing that scents smell different to every person. After the class, we got a small discount on any additional items we wanted to purchase that day. I got this really cool dirty martini candle and a wick dipper. Heads up that candle pick up is the next day so the wax can settle. They will hold your candles for two weeks but after that they will burn them in the store. During the workshop, the store ran out of one of the scents my friend wanted to use. We made it work and found a substitute but the during pickup we found a note, a slip for another workshop and a small candle to make up for the inconvenience. That was so nice of them! As for my candle, I don't think I can recreate it anywhere else. It's only been two weeks and I've already burned through most of one of them because it smells so good. The scents actually last and linger in any space you put them in. I 100% recommend this place whether you want to try a workshop, give this experience as a gift or just stop by to smell the candles. We chose Black Lava Salt and a golden Mesquite seasoning, and Kinsey (the lovely owner of Crose Nest) layered them in glass vials, creating beautiful landscapes. You can choose from SO many spices, or create teas, bath blends, etc - so many options for cooking, drinking, and pampering! Kinsey put each vial in a beautiful linen drawstring bag, and hand-stamped our custom wedding stamp on the front of each one. Our guests were delighted by these favors. At my brother's request he wanted a simple wake with minimal flowers but we wanted one for "Brother" and "Uncle". I explained I wanted something simple and more nature/natural than standard arrangements. My request was something I could look at and see same and/or similar flowers (think wildflowers) I would see on a walk. I also wanted it to be large enough without being gaudy and to make it something that would draw your eye to it and away from his simple pine box. Lucinda explained what she could offer and how it would be arranged and we talked about the pros and cons of keeping something like that fresh for the time we needed. I was not disappointed. The two arrangements were naturally colorful with an assortment of different types of flowers and displayed so beautifully. But what caused me to write this review is what happened at the cemetery. Almost immediately after they were put on the gravesite, bees began lilting on it, going from bud to bud. I felt that they were drawn to flowers that were not loaded up with chemicals to make them last longer and were obviously fresh enough that the bees found them tasty! it was a sight and more than a few people commented. I want to thank you for making the send off for my brother a little easier to bear knowing we did the best to make his burial as "green" as we could.

They also had a 4 dollar discrepancy and walked out before paying , when the exact same speech was given to them. We however were waiting for our refund / credit. We were not paying about 25 dollars more than the prices marked on the packages. We waited for about ten minutes for some man to show up, standing there while the 2 woman clerks assisted other people. We spent our idle time pointing out to customers to check their receipts for discrepancies with the posted prices. This is a tourist trap, they are "short" common teas and charge exorbitant prices in the first place, and then on top of that, it was painfully apparent to us they have a lot of mistakes with their cash register. Overall we spent about 15 to 20 minutes more while the man attempted to explain he needed to do something to "fix" the software , while we waited and waited. he didn't care one bit about the inconvenience and time he was spending delaying us, which seemed intentional. One of the women asked us to stop speaking t the other customers,..... We will never be back, and quite frankly I fail to understand how this place remains in business considering their deceptive practices?
