The last few times I ended up walking out without purchasing any thing this time I was out of some of my favorites, leave for a trip tomorrow, and did not have a choice other than to purchase it in person nearby. There was an ungodly amount of people working there. However, there would either be two people helping one person or groups of employees standing around, drinking Starbucks and talking. At one point there is no one at the register with 10 people in line, and then at other points, you would just see employees, casually walk away and texts on their cell phones. I try to ask for help more than once, but could not get their attention to save my life and gave up. I found most of my items like going I'll buy I'll. Sephora was my favorite place in Dallas so it's where I always get my make up but this is an absolute nightmare - at one point I think it was obvious that I was irritated and about to take a picture of three people gossiping with Starbucks orders, and a young man came over and I'm not sure what he said but then he asked how my day was going with an attitude because I asked him what he said because I couldn't hear him the first time and then when I was leaning over to grab some thing asked me what I was looking for and I said the brand that was right in front of me and he was like well look no further it's right in front of you, as if I was blind, and could not see it..... it was utterly painful Lastly, I finally get in line and there's about 15 people in front of me three people get on the register and the line is starting to go down and move quickly than one person peels off and there's two and then I finally get up and a girl looks at me look down at my stuff and goes yeah, the next broken. Check you out signs off and leaves and gets on her phone.... The other girl had an issue with the person she was checking out so it was another 5+ minutes and then finally when I get checked out she asks if I found everything ok and I said barely and asked who helped me and I said no one- and she seemed shocked and repeated it and I reinforced not a single sole... she wasn't thrilled or nice afterwards - I'm guessing she didn't like my answer but don't know what to tell her when I pretty much got the opposite of help and wanted to gtf out of there .. As I leave, the lines long and 2 people behind the check out are hanging and then as I'm walking out I find the other group hanging out. For as much staff as they have here, the place should be immaculate, wells stocked, and great help ... maybe I have high expectations of Sephora from my Dallas experience, but even when it was slammed during the holidays, it was far better than this. What a waste of money having this many people doing so few things. You cannot pay me to go back to this location ....

I've been hearing that name circling lately in conversations, so my friend and I took the opportunity to immediately go check it out. It's located in Seminole Heights around some of my other favorite small businesses. Parking was easy on the street, but they also have a lot behind the store. The shop was clean and airy and inviting, and I was shocked by how many great products they sold. I love that they are zero waste and you can bring in your own containers. I'll be sure to check out their detergent, soaps and shampoo bar once I've used up my current products. I did pick up a clay face mask that I can't wait to try. It was a little bit on the pricier side at $25, but I liked the simple ingredients and wanted to support this great store concept. Also, they had a really cute area with their oils where you can make your own perfume ($29.99) or fill your own car freshener vials. I'll definitely be bringing friends back to do that together. I love this concept and their associate at the register was super friendly and helpful even throughout my many excited questions. What a great experience!

The shop is super open, calming, and beautifully organized, and it immediately gave off the kind of vibe that makes you want to slow down and look at everything. They had such a wide range of products like body wash, natural toothpaste, face masks, candles, handmade soaps, and more. Everything is either refillable or handmade, and the ingredients were super clean, which I really appreciate. You can tell a lot of thought goes into what they stock. It didn't feel like just another store; it felt like someone's passion project. When we went to check out, the person at the counter (I think he was the owner) was so genuinely warm and welcoming. He asked if it was our first time in and took the time to walk us through how the store works and what they're all about. No pressure, no upselling, just someone who really cares about what he's doing and wants you to feel comfortable. It honestly made the experience even better, and I left feeling like I wanted to tell everyone about it. If you're in the area, even if you don't need anything, go check it out. A week ago, my mother and I were in trying to spend our Loft Cash (a promotional coupon) which we had quite a few of. We only ended up using about half of the coupons we had, but Andrew suggested that we come back when the new store set was out in a week or so, or shop online and bring in the order to use all of the coupons together. I came back a little over a week later with my full online shopping cart and item numbers ready to order. I was really excited to see that there was now a discount of 40% on everything in the store! I actually had to go find more items to purchase to use all of my coupons! Katie was so sweet, as she rang up my rather large order... One item number at a time. She was so patient when I changed my order probably four times, and was very helpful in finding exactly what I was looking for in the store so that I could try it before ordering. The ordering process was very user-friendly, as it allowed me to shop in my pajamas at home, and then go to the store to order and use all of my coupons together! I chose these for the flip tops actions also the price was at $3.99 which these bottles tend to be higher in value in brewing supplies shops. I chose to just take this n leave sense the store was getting bombarded n there was nobody in the line. So here's my 3 star experience, it should be lower but i feel for the staff during the holidays when everything is freaking crazy n the tempers are high AF. Joy, content and Fun safe environments create better sales n keeps people coming back. Believe me i been called horrible things to my face n i was able to grab that cannon ball in mid flight n turn it into roses. People have bad days n the best weapon u got already comes included in your face. Nice little smile n a hint of spice. Thats it, thats all you need to make it through the day. If it ever gets old? Get some hobbies or find something new to fall in love with every time it gets meh. No? There's literally a bar in the same parking lot lol. So why a three though? It's what they said afterwards that was my "Hell naw" moment. "If you would've counted!? I would cut your pinky n your toes off" they gave off unhinged smile n I didn't return mine. I was not impressed, it's not my energy to wish such horrible things to people cuz at the end of the day? It was their fault to let people come to them n then make em wait when they haven't even finish their current task. Either finish the task n then reset before every interaction or put it aside and focus on the great costumer support moment. They asked me if it would be funny to cut people's toe n pinky... I tried not being a cunt n coldly replied as calmly as i could mustered; "HELL NO, why the hell would that be funny!?" They piped down n kept interacting with the other cashier. They didn't even offer a bag, wrap, not even a; "thank you for shopping" or at least drop a recovery bs moment like; "sigh, I'm just kidding, just a little stressed out. Have a nice day" nothing crazy but humanizing yourself n a little "retraction" in the unsettling event. If this would've been someone else!? You would've been blasted down in center. I know people have hidden battles n suffer in silence. I do to n refuse to bring my baggage to work. *Dear supervisors, do not fire this person. Just remind them of creating Professional n positive experiences to all guest. maybe a nice incentive for the best customer Positive supporters get like .... Apple bees?
