When I consulted with Dr. Shienbaum about downsizing, I emphasized how important it was for me to keep scarring to a minimum. We decided on a two-stage approach to achieve the best outcome. During the first stage, my original implants were removed and we allowed a few months for my natural breast tissue to retract on its own. This helped me avoid the need for mastopexy scars. In the second stage, we placed smaller implants, and the new size fits my body and breast shape PERFECTLY. I also wanted some extra volume to my hips without overdoing the "BBL look" (personal preference) so we combined with lipo 360 and a fat transfer to my hip dips. My recovery has been incredibly smooth. I experienced little to no pain and was able to return to work the very next day on light duty, which was extremely important to me. I have also been cleared to begin lymphatic drainage massages, and it has been so convenient having an in-office technician available. My lymphatic specialist, Lauren, has been amazing.
