Baked and fried fish with a side of plantains
Annette C.

Came here with a date on a Thursday evening - we had an overall warm welcome with an explanation of the menu and what they had. They sold us on the fish option (baked and fried tilapia with a side of plantains). We also had a fresh African ginger drink which was magnificent. The portions were so large and rich. Tasted amazing as well. We both loved it. Thank you for your hospitality - I will be back next time I come to the Bronx.

Grilled fish with their home-made salsa, lamb shank topped with onion and a side of couscous, and plantains. Yummmm

I swear this place NEVER has fried fish. Matter of fact nothing is ever ready. Not even attieke. Ridiculous!

My wife and I had an unforgettable experience at Adom Cuisine in the Bronx. What started as a…read moresimple dinner turned into something truly special--an evening filled with amazing food, genuine hospitality, and a real sense of family. We had the chance to spend time with the beautiful family behind the restaurant--David (the owner), his incredible wife (who we lovingly called "Mom"), and their daughter Kendra. Every single one of them was warm, welcoming, and full of kindness. Earlier that day, I was blessed to meet their daughter Priscilla, who highly recommended we stop by and try her mother's authentic Ghanaian cooking. She told me her mom's food appeals to everyone--and she was absolutely right. We came during a special event sponsored by Puma, where meals were being covered between 4pm and 7pm. Even with that generosity, my wife and I still chose to order and pay for additional items because we wanted the full experience--and we're so glad we did. We ordered fufu with palm nut soup and beef, Ghana's spicy jollof rice, along with krakro, fried shrimp, rice balls, jerk chicken, peanut soup, and spring rolls--and everything was incredible. The flavors were rich, authentic, and made with love. Ghanaian food has a unique spice to it--it's not overpowering like extreme heat, but more of a flavorful kick that comes and goes. It's something you just have to experience for yourself. The space itself may be small, but the love it holds is HUGE. You can feel it in every interaction and every bite of food. If you're ever in the Bronx, just off I-95 near the iconic Arthur Ave, do yourself a favor and stop by Adom Cuisine. Whether you dine in or take out, you can easily enjoy a full, satisfying meal for around $20-$30. This place isn't just a restaurant--it's a home away from home.

Jollof rice with Waakye was also spicy with great flavor. The chicken is bone-in which gives it a lovely flavor. Also good amount of food for price. Overall great meals! Would eat again! 4 stars for flavor and spice! Minus 1 star for pricey meals.
