I've lived in my townhome for the last 12 years, but neglected my patio area for most of that time…read moreuntil I bought a new grill this summer. After a few wonderful evenings outside, I started to notice some sort of bee that I couldn't quite identify hanging around. Chalking it up to "summer = bugs" I didn't think much of it until a couple of weeks ago, when I noticed them flying in and out of a crevice between my patio and alongside the outside wall near that entryway. I hate bugs. Nothing personal, I get that they serve all kinds of important functions but I get grossed out. Bad. Flying bugs are the worst for me. Fluttering wings of who knows what (attached to something I'm going to always assume has the ability to sting/bite/slime/infect me) making their way towards me doesn't make my personal list of "Top 10 Ways To Spend Free Time" but to each their own. After checking out pricing on the larger national chain service providers for a one-time visit, I turned to Yelp and found Rob with Cloverleaf Pest Control. I'm always impressed with a quick turnaround time, and Rob came through multiple times on that front. My first call was answered quickly, and we had a conversation about what I needed and how he could help. After getting the estimate (which compared favorably to those bigger companies), and talking to Rob I felt confident about moving forward. It's worth noting that I called in the afternoon, and was able to set an appointment for the following day. When that Cloverleaf vehicle pulled up to my house for my appointment, Rob greeted me and made an inspection of the area. Rob verified for me that I was dealing with yellow jackets, and walked through their process to resolve the issue. Very quickly Rob was suited up, and making my problem disappear. It's been a day since my appointment, and I'm seeing zero yellow jackets! The process was simple and smooth from start to finish, and if the need arises again in the future I won't hesitate to call on Cloverleaf Pest Control again.

Many issues with Orkin, sadly, though I still maintain my subscription to their services for now…read more 1. They almost NEVER show up on time. This is done with NO NOTIFICATION TO YOU either, no text, no email, nothing, they just decide not to come on time or for hours after then show up when they feel like it which might not be convenient for you. This is already a problem when THEY randomly choose a DAY PRIOR when they will show up if you're part of their regular service plan. Now imagine the situation I find myself in regularly; wake up to an email saying someone is coming tomorrow, then you make sure you can be home on such short notice to only find they don't bother showing up anyway until 3 hours later when you'd have been home anyway. That doesn't look good to your employer, but Orkin doesn't care. 2. They consistently fail to do their job properly. Ironically the older men here seem to do the worst job while the woman and younger guy that have done it have done great. There is an especially bad one who likes to spray one or two sprays in a room and walk out like it's done while the rest spray the entire perimeter of each room and only ONE has sprayed in areas where it makes sense for the issue we originally called them for in the first place. 3. Had an issue with a specific problem, entire reason we hired them and it was told to them from the get-go. It's been a long time now and they have still failed to abate the issue to any degree, we've had to figure out alternative ways to deal with it because they don't manage to. Nearly every time we've had them out we've had to call them out again a few days later to try "actually spraying for realsies this time :)" Eventually we will probably hire someone else or just spray the house ourselves. Paying nearly a hundred dollars a month for no change in the problem is a bit dumb on my part.

Value is way too high for a quality of work that is extremely low…read more Service is little to none. Still paying for an and issue that was not resolved. They say it's their mission is to guarantee they solve your pest issue. This is false, they want your money and will do nothing but put you on hold when they don't fix your pest problem.

We had to receive a call-back service after we had an ant invasion. The tech who did the follow-up…read morewas very personable and thorough and explained every thing he was oing to help solve the problem, however when I sked what chemical he was using he said "I'm not supposed to tell you", When I reminded him that I am also a licensed Category 3 Turf and Landscape Applicator and there is this issue of DATCP AG 29 regulation that requires customers be informed of the chemical used he then readily complied. My complaint is not with the technician, but rather the convoluted manner in which the after treatment report is prepared and sent by email, but in order for the customer to access this date, after receiving a message it is available (being sent by the tech sitting his truck in your driveway...heaven forbid actually handing the customer a printed copy) it is then necessary for the customer to enter his account (and remember a little used password)...why not just send the report in plain text directly to the customer's email address since both the tech and the customer are already accessing it. If you can't remember your password you are directed to ask for a code, which when you receive it then you have to put that into your account access box which then tells you it is the wrong code I did this THREE times, each time getting a different number, and finally gave up until I have to call customer service NOT A VERY FRIENDLY CUSTOMER INTERFACE ORKIN
