The sales floor was full of merchandise, employees were readily available for assistance, and the check-out process was smooth sailing. I did need to ask an employee where to find athletic wear as I needed shorts for the gym. Not only did they answer my question, they walked me over to the appropriate area of the store. Most places nowdays simply point to where merchandise is located. Not Cabela's! What a great way to go above and beyond in customer service. You rent a target at the range ($15 in March 2024), & you can rent a compound bow and arrows ($20 each in March 2024) that are honestly in really good shape. The range's targets are well spaced. They even have axe throwing in another area, if you're into that. They also have high-top tables and chairs for friends/family to sit and 4 big tvs on the wall for those not shooting. TIP: When you arrive for archery, go to the building on your left when you park (marked "Event Center" and "A") bc the building on the right is for game processing. I definitely will return!

Three weeks later I put in a call he said it would need another couple of weeks. Bit by bit three weeks mushroomed into three months. And the $300 originally quoted to me had become $400 (Although in his defense I was having it shipped to a different city than where his shop is located). Throughout the process it was difficult to get a hold of him even during work hours. I understand that he is running something of a one-man show at his shop, but that doesn't excuse the level of unprofessionalism and difficulty I met with in contacting him. The finished product was not something I satisfied with, however rather than wait another three months for it to be fixed or re-done and potentially pay more I simply opted to have the rifle shipped back to me and have the work removed and re-done locally. Obviously I will not be using this man services again. I can only recommend this shop for work that he is either very familiar with the design or requires a relatively low skill level. And even then only if time is a complete non-issue to you. Bottom line, I was unimpressed with how the business was managed, the product that it provided, the time in which it was provided, and the price at which it was provided. As I said before I will not be returning to this man again and I do not recommend that you do either. I understand that I gave this business and extremely negative review, and so for honesty sake, bear in mind that I dropped this weapon off to him and then returned to my duty station in El Paso Texas.
