WARNING!! I contacted the dealership ahead of time to confirm a specific vehicle listed on their…read morewebsite. They verified the VIN and knew I was driving 30-40 minutes to see it. When I arrived, they were waiting for me outside and took me straight back. I again stated I was there for that exact vehicle. After 20 min of collecting my information, THEN they told me the vehicle just sold. I don't believe that was truthful. Another Kia dealership had already checked the same VIN earlier that day and told me it was not available. That means this dealership knew it wasn't available before I even began traveling there. Even if there was an honest mix up, they could have told me as soon as I got there instead of collecting my information and wasting more time. This is not how you treat customers, and I won't be returning. My interactions were with Chris (sales consultant) and Bill (sales manager). It felt like the vehicle was kept online simply to get people in the door. Fortunately, I found a vehicle at another Kia dealership later that day.

I recently had an appt at Montrose Kia set for July 30th at 1:30pm. I worked with Robert S. (Bob)…read moreto check in and explain what was wrong with the car. Bob was very nice in confirming he understood what I was explaining to him & offered a shuttle service if I didn't want to wait because service would take about an hour and a half & the building was under construction. He confirmed that the shuttle would also be able to pick me back up to come get my car when it was finished & that I'd receive a call. I was initially shuttled home by a service employee, Jeremy, who also confirmed I should get a call with an update on my car and they'd send the shuttle back to pick me up. Three hours later, at 4pm I got an automated text from Kia saying my car service was completed and that Kia looks forward to working with me again. I was still waiting on a phone call update on what happened with my car and confirmation that a shuttle was being sent out to pick me up. After waiting to hear something for an hour after receiving that text I finally called Kia asking where the shuttle was and spoke with Jennifer. Jennifer was kinda & said she would send a driver right away, as if it was unbeknownst to them that I even needed to be shuttled back there or was waiting for an update. I waited outside my house for 40 more minutes and no shuttle ever showed up & I received no calls. I only live 5 minutes away. My boyfriend who was at work at the time frustratedly called Kia on my behalf and spoke with Jennifer again who then transferred him to speak with someone in service who claimed to have called me twice to notify me that there were no shuttles available. I never received any calls whatsoever!! My boyfriend had to leave work all the way from Strongsville to be able to pick me up and bring me to pick me car up before they closed for the day. By the time we were able to make it there it was near closing and everyone in the service dept had left already. I was handed my receipt and my keys with still no explanation of what was found with my car being looked at. When I asked for an explanation the young counter girl was looking around for someone in service for me to speak with and said that they all had left already. An employee that was sitting on the couch behind me thought he was funny, laughed at me and made a comment that I was "too late". I was not there late because I wanted to be, I was there late because I received horrible service!! The counter girl was finally able to put me into contact with Rachel as she was walking out the door. Rachel was able to go over things with me in the end and suggest the next steps with getting my car serviced further. I was nearly unable to get my car before closing which would have made me unable to go to work the next day because of poor communication and inadequate service. Rachel placed a call to service Manager, Freddy, and advised him of the situation that had taken place with me as he also had already left for the day. He said he would give me a call the next day between 8-8:10am to discuss my concerns. I again never received a single phone call from anyone at Montrose Kia. I have never purchased a vehicle from Montrose Kia due to bad reviews. I only took my car there for service because it was the closest dealership to me, my mistake. In conclusion, take your car there if you want the world's worst service!

If I could give this dealership a score below zero, I would…read more The communication here is absolutely unacceptable. I purchased a vehicle that ended up with a failed transmission 8 months and 7k miles after purchase and the moment things went wrong, the dealership's responsiveness evaporated. Calls went unanswered, updates were vague or nonexistent, and every step felt like pulling teeth just to get basic information about my own car. A major mechanical failure should trigger urgency, transparency, and accountability -- instead, I got silence, excuses, and a complete lack of ownership. No customer should have to chase down a dealership for weeks just to find out what's happening with a vehicle they sold in "excellent condition." This is not just one department. It's the organization as a whole, including the sales department, the front desk and the service department! This experience has been exhausting, unprofessional, and deeply disappointing. I would strongly caution anyone considering doing business here.

I purchased a pre-owned vehicle January 2026. The sale was very smooth; everyone was very nice…read more The vehicle has a broken component in the glove compartment and there is only one working FOB. I was told when I left with the vehicle, after purchase, that they would order the part for the glove compartment and also the FOB, and call me to come in so they could make it right. I have called the dealership numerous times, texted back and forth with a manager there, as well as sent a message via their website. FYI, no one EVER answers the phone at this place. I was told by the manager via text a couple of weeks ago that the parts would be in and I could bring it in the following week. I waited.....and nothing. I have since texted to follow up....and nothing. Bottom line, they are super nice, very helpful when selling you a car. After that, forget it. If you buy pre-owned and there are repairs promised, DO NOT leave the lot thinking you will get what's promised. Once the sale is made, you are no longer a priority - in fact, you are pretty much non existent. Since this has occurred, I found out someone else who lives around me had the same exact experience. She bought her vehicle a couple of years ago and they still have not made right what she was told they would. She can't get ahold of anyone. A week or so after purchasing the vehicle, I had a good feeling about the dealership and was recommending it to friends I know. Now that I see how they really are - I would NEVER send anyone their way.

I took the car…read moreback up to them to fix and they kept my car more then 2 days and where saying they were waiting on a part they order for my car . Remind you I was told my car would be fixed the same day. I didn't have transportation within the days they kept my car I was not offered another vehicle to drive I was not warned they was going to keep my car . I went back to pick up my car I was still having the same issues . I took my car to another mechanic to get fixed and was informed and showed the parts Good Deal used cars fixed on my car was put on wrong and spray painted black . I risk my life driving this car . I was also told by Good Deal Used Cars when it's time for an oil change they'll do it for me. But remind you the first month of me having the car my check engine light came on the car was running hot and was unsafe so yet I paid again to get it looked at by another mechanic and my local Oil change spot . The car oil was so bad I went to Take 5 oil change and they had to snake and clean all the oil out of my vehicle it was so clogged and yet I risk my life again within not even a month of having this car . Not even a year of me having this car im constantly getting things fixed . I go to trade it in I was told the car was false salvage and my information was wrong . So the dealership calls Good Deal Used Cars they hang up on the dealership I'm at . I go up to Good Deal Used cars to get an understanding with them no solution. I'm stuck with this car that I've been risking my life in since I've got it , I'm paying out of pocket constantly to get things fixed . I do not recommend buying cars from this place it's not safe at all and unprofessional. When I put my down payment down I had to pay taxes then today when I went up there Good Deal Used cars says to me they still owe taxes on this car . So where did my money go ? I have a remaining less then $3500 I owe on this car . To get the remaining things I need fixed cost over $3000 to get fixed . I'm only 19 im learning a lot about dealerships and how money hungry they can be selling cars that is unsafe . I tried to work with them multiple times but it's like I just get played in the end it's not fair at all .

Highly Recommend Mike Bass Mazda/Ford - A Truly Outstanding Experience!…read more I wanted to share the incredibly positive experience I had at Mike Bass Mazda/Ford in Sheffield, OH (just west of Cleveland, off I-90, Exit 148). I was helping my parents purchase a Certified Pre-Owned (CPO) Mazda CX-5, and we found the perfect one at Mike Bass Mazda. Since we were hours away from the dealership, about 90% of our interaction was over the phone, and the team at Mike Bass made the process seamless from start to finish. From the very beginning, I had the pleasure of working with our salesman, Jason Swindig, who was fantastic to work with. His communication was excellent, and he consistently kept me updated throughout the process. In addition, I had the opportunity to work with David Cortes and Cody Spurgeon, the Used Car Sales Manager, who were both incredibly professional, helpful, and accommodating. In the end, Cody presented a straightforward and fair deal that allowed us to move forward confidently. When my parents and I drove from Findlay, OH to Sheffield, OH, Jason was already waiting for us upon arrival, and he had gone the extra mile to ensure a great experience--he had the car washed and parked inside the showroom so my parents wouldn't have to step outside in the cold to inspect it. Jason made the entire process stress-free, handling all the legwork while we took our final look at the vehicle to confirm it was exactly what my parents wanted. A big thank you as well to Dave Thuener, the dealership's finance expert, who had all the paperwork prepared and took the time to walk us through every document patiently and clearly. Before leaving, we also had the pleasure of meeting David and Cody in person, putting faces to the names we had been emailing and speaking with throughout the process. Jason, Cody, and the entire used car team at Mike Bass Mazda/Ford made this an outstanding car-buying experience. There were no hidden fees, no shady add-ons, no unnecessary upselling--just honest, professional service. Buying a car two hours away was more than worth the drive! THANK YOU, Jason Swindig (Sales Representative), Cody Spurgeon (Sales Manager), and the entire team at Mike Bass Mazda/Ford! I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a straightforward, professional, and genuinely enjoyable car-buying experience. Five-star experience all the way!
