Was picking up a online order walked in to a line of 10 people and was told I'd have to wait in that line of ten people for an order that should've been prepared prior to my arrival. Took place on Thursday July 17th at around 2:30 pm. She stated she was by herself. Now either it be a managerial issue or the employees own fault for not stopping the line and making the order. This needs to be resolved as it's inhumane to make an employee do everyone's job and seriously affects the pay of delivery drivers and other third party workers. I dropped by Baskin Robbins (BR) in Victorville to pick up a couple quarts of ice cream. That's right... I go BIG whenever I can... nothing wrong with that LOL. Actually, it's a better value with the quart size versus the individual scoops. I had a $25 gift card to use up so that's what I did. I ended up getting 4 quarts of ice cream (2 love potion #31 (yes, I got 2 of them LOL), 1 oreo cookie and cream, 1 praline) and 1 strawberry banana smoothie. I just had to pay $1+ to cover the excess. Sounds good to me! Before paying for the ice cream and smoothie, I did get a chance to taste test the love potion #31 and praline... both were very good. I already know how oreo cookie and cream tastes so I didn't taste test it... this one is for my daughters... it is their favorite! Butter pecan and praline are my BR favorites... I think love potion #31 will be added to my favorites list soon. =) Staff was friendly and patient. Grateful for the great service. Choices of ice cream were good. Looks like they have changed their BR logo. Funny, I never realized the middle of BR represents the number 31 until today. Must have been the change of color that brought out the 31. I'm thinking 31 means 31 flavors maybe, but there weren't 31 flavors of ice cream in the bins. I'll have to google this one after I finish this review LOL. Nothing too extravagant, but unfortunately, when we went to pick it up, this was our finished product, very disappointing. I visited this shop with my son and grandson around 5:30 pm on a Friday. . There were other patrons either sitting enjoying their icecream at the table or in line as well like us. By the time we decided what we wanted it was our turn to order. My grandson chose the Dino cup with sherbet icecream. I had 1 scoop of strawberry cheesecake and a scoop of the cherry with a drizzle of hot fudge topped with a cherry. My son had strawberry and vanilla with strawberry topping. I just had a terrible customer service experience with an unpleasant worker at Baskin Robins in Victorville. I will first begin by stating that the lady that helped me appeared to be in a very bad mood! Before she helped me I told her I had two different free 1 scoop birthday coupons to redeem and if I was able to get a second scoop could I be charged separately. She said no problem. My family and I just encountered the poorest customer service from two females by the names Alexa and Maryjane. I don't even know if they gave me their correct names because they were that rude. Today is Sunday December 19 2021 and myself, husband, and 3 children went into have ice cream around 4:00 pm at the baskin Robbins in Victorville California off of armagosa rd. We decided to treat our children with a nice treat. My husband got a snickers scoop but to his taste it was really sweet and he asked if he can kindly change the flavor. The two associates rudely rolled their eyes at one another and looked confused at what action they can do. He asked if he can instead get a strawberry cheesecake scoop instead. They gave him what he asked. The first bite he took he immediately spit it out because of the bad sour rotten taste. He said for sure that one was bad and asked if he can change it again if not just get his money back. The two girls again looked confused and rudely said "I don't think we can". They decided to call Mark or Miguel I'm not too sure of what store managers name was. As they called him to get his approval they proceeded to give him his refund. Under their breath decided to talk about what happen while we were still in the store. My family and I walked out. Not once did we get an apology or did they decide to take rotten ice cream out. Luckily none of my children got that flavor. I asked the two girls for cooperates number and the managers number but they refused to give it to me. I had to google and research how to complain about this situation and experience myself. I just can't believe how rude they were and how they truly did not care that there was rotten ice cream that could easily get someone sick with food borne illness. I really hope management or further investigation gets done on this business cause I can tell you right now their giving a BAD reputation on your franchise. We will NEVER be returning again. I must say however that the overall quality of the establishment is subpar. I saw cockroaches in the bathroom, numerous wall plugs were not working, drains were flooding when the employees were trying to clean up, etc. The owner needs to seriously consider investing some money on renovation and improvement of a safe and healthy work environment...and maybe invest in insect repellant? read more
