Nothing irks me off more than when an establishment changes their policies blindly and expects their customers to just adhere to them. My son has been going to this BR pretty regularly as a treat and to have some quality time with either me or his father for the past 2 years. It's always been the same order: 1 scoop + 2 flavors. They have split the 1 scoop so my indecisive 5 year old can enjoy two worlds at once. I ordered last week our usual and was charged for 2 full size adult scoops. I asked why she did that and she said that's what she gave him. So this time around, I explicitly stated our usual order and just so happens this same associate was there to take our order. She stated they don't do that any more and she will have to now give two kids size scoops. all confusing. Either she is new and improperly trained or management is giving out rules that aren't cohesive. Regardless I am giving 3 stars because the ice cream is great, the service the past 2 years has been so so but now the past two weeks the customer service has just rubbed me really wrong. I would like to share my experience that happened a couple months ago. There were 3 employees behind the counter and none of them greeted me and my daughter. We were the only customers at the time. I asked an employee if I could use the T-Mobile Baskin Robbins promo. The young man said yes, I could use it, so I ordered 2 - single scoop ice creams. When I was ready to check out, I gave him the promo QR code for him to scan. Since My husband (who was waiting in the car w/ our son) and I had each our own promo gift card, I asked to ring them up separately. The young man said I couldnt do it because it would be negative. I didnt understand what he meant because my promo gift card was $4 and my total was $3.45, and I had told him I didnt want change back or anything like that. He kept saying that it would not work because the system wouldnt let him because it would be negative and looked at his manager for some kind of approval. He wouldnt scan my app either when I showed him. The manager who stood next to him said I could only use 1 promo code. Now I was confused even more of why he was giving me another excuse. So I said my husband had 1 and I had 1, and we would like to use them today since it was going to expire. The manager then said I shouldve came earlier in the week. I believe it was up to the customer when they would like to come and use it. I didnt see this as an issue since it had not expired yet. Then he proudly said it was up to him if he would want to honor it or not. So I left. I was gladly to take my business somewhere else, and mostly would not come back. They kept giving me a hard time about it. At first, they wouldnt accept it because it would give them "negative" in their system, then the manager said I could only use 1 promo code which it didnt state anything about it on the app or a minimum purchase. I didnt understand any of the excuses because it was something simple since it came from Tmobile/Baskin Robbin's promotion. This store has no customer service skills whatsoever. Not only they were rude, they clearly didnt need me as a customer. How could you stay in business when you treat customers this way. He made his own rules. If he said he wasn't participating, then it would be a different story and I respected that. I was frustrated being treated this way when my kids who were 6 and 3 years old were excited to get their ice cream and now screamed and cried for not getting them because the employees were uneducated. read more

I frequently come in to BR locations for the two scoop sundaes and for the most part all the Reno and sparks locations have been pretty satisfactory. This particular location is nice clean and newer interior than most. I ordered my usual two scoop sundae and when I sat down I noticed the two scoops of ice cream were very small. The scoops of ice cream usually show above the rim of the cup. My scoops were so small they could not be seen at all. I dont mind paying $10 for ice cream but at this time I feel quite ripped off of food. We also noticed other patrons served after us with ice cream cups and their ice cream scoops were noticeably larger. Upon asking a server of this difference we learned now they use 2 child size scoops for their sundaes. For $4 for each 2 scoop sundae now this is a real rip off. This is really disappointing and cheap and unfortunately will not result in any returning business. read more

It was my first visit to this location this afternoon. Nice size- 40+ flavors! But most of all, I was very impressed by the excellent customer service from the two young ladies who was working. I went into this establishment with my bf and little brother to get sundaes for my family. The employee serving us (who we found out later to be the owner Barbara) seemed overwhelmed and did not appear to be in top form to be providing quality customer service as she seemed agitated and annoyed. I paid no mind at that point and kept my concerns/opinions to myself. I paid for the ice cream and left. I went back home not noticing how inadequate the scoops were until I got there. The scoops were "kid's scoop" as Barbara referred to them and as others referred to them in their own reviews. My mother and I were both disappointed about the quality and quantity we received for the price we paid. We called the store to complain about the inadequate scoops we received on our sundaes as well as the rude customer service I received just as so many others have complained about in their reviews. Barbara would not let my mother or I get a word in when trying to explain our dissatisfaction about the inadequate scoops to her on the phone. She told us she was the one who served us and simply started talking over us, telling us the sundaes come with kid's scoop and told us to act like decent human beings and hung up the phone. I felt like her telling us that we need to act like decent human beings was uncalled for and simply ill-mannered. In my opinion, business owners who can't take bad reviews shouldn't be in business. Later on that night, my mom completed the survey on the receipt hoping it would get to someone higher than Barbara. But apparently the survey went straight to her email where she proceeded to send one unprofessional email after another to my mom. She even threatened to screenshot my mom's emails to get her attorney involved if my mom contacted the Better Business Bureau. Clearly the emails were going nowhere so my mom asked Barbara to stop emailing her and ceased communications with Barbara as well. A couple weeks later I decided to get on Yelp and post a negative review because I felt like I needed to share my experience with everyone and share my personal opinion. The next day my mother contacted me stating that she received a demand letter from Barbara's California licensed attorney (not Nevada) Nathan Jones via email saying to remove the post under my name. Nathan Jones then sent myself a demand letter through Yelp to take down the post within 48 hrs or they would take legal action against me. Nathan, I have edited my review to provide further details and stated the facts about what took place that day and the days/ weeks that followed. I have exercised my 1st amendment right of placing a review for, in my opinion was less than professional customer service and inadequate quality/quantity of product. Barbara, if you do not want negative reviews from customers then I would suggest improving the quantity/cost ratio that customers are complaining about and improve your customer service in person, via phone, and by email. I know that I will never step foot into this establishment. read more

What can you say, this is Baskin-Robins. It's America, so forget about the price and indulge. We also bought a hand packed quart of bubblegum on the way out, can't get it anywhere else. Super excited for this new ice cream shop out in Wingfield Springs! We went about a week ago, so it was still fairly new. The customer service was impeccable. Solid ice cream as always. They don't do $1 scoop night like all other BR's. Probably won't be back much until the bring in $1 scoop night.

I personally love BR, but one time I came to the store this little kid in front of me licked his cone and of course it hit the floor. The dad told the employee and picked up the scoop off the floor. She proceeded to give him a cup to put it in rather than replacing the scoop. I was disappointed in the employee and the dad for not requesting another scoop. Crazy! read more

I purchased an ice cream cake for Father's day. I was sadly disappointed, the entire cake was covered in fake whipping cream and there was hardly any cake or ice cream to it. For the money I payed for it I expected better. I would not recommend purchasing ice cream cakes from this store. Dairy queen ice cream cakes are 100 percent better and worth what you pay. I will not be purchasing any more ice cream cakes from any Baskin Robbins store again. read more

This place will absolutely be my go-to from now on, especially in comparison to the other sparks store, which is just horrible. I'll explain why: the other sparks store was much closer to my work, so I decided to place a cake order over the phone for my boss, who is retiring, and we we were having a little going away party for him. Because I am type A, I called that store the night before to make sure that they had the order and that it would be ready the next day for pickup. The absolutely clueless person on the other end had no idea what I was talking about and said that there was no order for me! And then he said that they need 24 hours notice, so I couldn't redo the order and have it ready in time! In a panic, I called the wingfield store right by my house. I explained what happened at the other store (which sadly isn't owned by the same person at wingfield). That employee gave me the owner's number, whose name is Barbara, so I called her and told her what happened. She said that she would take care of my cake and that it would be ready by the time I needed it. Okay, here's the amazing part. When I arrived a few minutes early, Barbara was just finishing up my cake. She was decorating with her little newborn baby in a body sling!!!!!! I couldn't believe it! Her decorator couldn't be there until later, so she brought her baby and decorated my cake so I could have it in time. I was touched. You just don't see stuff like that very often. Oh, and to the JERK Sophia below, you should have just gotten the triple scoop if you wanted more ice cream. Sheesh! read more

I enjoy coming here once a week. It's my treat for eating healthy all week beforehand. My favorite is the Daquiri ice and always has been since I was a child. This is just about the only BR in town where this flavor is not freezer burnt, unlike the other sparks location that I tend to avoid now that this one is here. Had a need for some ice cream today, it had been a while. This BR out on Vista at Wingfield has always had great service and friendly staff.

Excellent product and customer service. Wherever they find these kids to work, they are the cream of the crop of their generation. Always polite and friendly, and appear to clean the store frequently when there is downtime. The other stores in town are quite filthy by comparison, so for that alone I will drive a bit out of the way to get here. I also place semi frequent cake orders here, my favorite of which is the turkey cake. It looks literally like a cooked thanksgiving turkey with some kind of shiny caramel glaze on top that gives it that finishing touch. Has been a hit for the past two years, soon to be three when I pick my order up this wednesday. Very happy and hope to see this location in business for a very long time. read more

When first learning that there was a new Baskin-Robbins being built in our neighborhood it didn't seem too exciting. Also sad that a local ice cream store didn't make it in the same shopping center. Anyhow we decided to give it a try once it opened (the kids begged) and what an awesome experience we had. Our first visit the store was very busy, we were still helped in a timely fashion and the ice cream tasted great. Definitely brought back child hood memories! Still love that bubblegum flavor. Our second visit exceeded all expectations, the staff was amazing with my daughter, ice cream was great again and this time they made sure we got a punch card and informed us about the app and coupons!
