We were looking for icecream to eat, and I looked on yelp to find a good soft serve icecream shop…read moresince my son was craving icecream. This place is over-rated. They serve icecream, soft serve cone and slushes. Lucky we tried just a petit soft serve cone for $3.50. It's ok, but nothing special compared to other many gelato and ice cream shops in the surrounding area.

I can replace the goblet for a sugar cone at a small price. That price is NOT $5.50, and over $6 is too much for a bit of dip on 1/2-3/4c of soft ice cream. I don't know was the puppet fluff ice cream servant helping me or both of us to dodge a bullet? I certainly shouldn't be tasting what I didn't get to buy. Sorry to all those deal makers I may have risked in their imagination, and I ran out of that shop like that guy was really deep crazy. Probably Shirley:s man's and her maybe her own n'ere do well playing the Charlyn. RIP my sister live as you may be... More on this. All's good. I think I've figured out how this scene was to go and maybe I was just to pay until things seemed right. I may even know this young man's relatives, the girlay have just been a local. Maybe it had nothing to do with Shirley or the shelters. Maybe these people were relatives of friends or just new acquaintances. Maybe I should have offered him a free ice cream cone. If I did, would he have hired me? Gee, I didn't look at everything before running away.

Iconoglace absolutely deserves the hype…read more The menu is a little overwhelming if you don't speak French, but once you figure it out, there are a ton of unique creations you won't find at a typical ice cream shop. We ordered the L'Ouragan du Sundae. It's vanilla soft serve with lemon curd, olive oil, homemade shortbread, and raspberry compote. I honestly couldn't taste the raspberry, but everything else worked incredibly well together. The lemon kept it bright, the olive oil added a subtle richness, and the shortbread brought a great buttery crunch. It felt more like a thoughtfully composed dessert than just ice cream with toppings. The real star is the soft serve itself. It's ridiculously smooth and creamy. My girlfriend isn't a big dessert person and doesn't like things that are too sweet. After one bite she looked at me and said, "This is the best ice cream I've ever put in my mouth." That's probably the strongest review I can give. Portions are generous, prices are fair, and I'd happily wait in line again. If you're visiting Montreal, I'd put this near the top of the dessert list. Easy 5/5.

Very cute ice cream/dessert shop on st laurent. They are open quite late, so if you're craving…read moresomething sweet after dinner or before you hit the bar, this us a nice option. They have a huge menu, with gelato, soft serve, fresh waffles (bubble waffles or the normal square kind), bubble teas and slushes, and lots more. They had many types of gelato on offer, including vegan choices, which was nice to see. There is a bit of a wait for the fresh waffles since they literally make it in front of you. The waffle was hot and delicious! The soft serve I personally found too sweet, but the fresh strawberries were a great topping. The service was efficient and friendly. Not a lot of room in the store, it's more of a grab and go kind of place.

Finally decided to try the famous La Diperie the last weekend of Summer!…read moreI am not a huge ice cream fan but can have it in small quantities if it is mixed with chocolate etc. We went to the new location in West Island opposite Cinema Guzzo. The place is quite small and there is no sign as of yet but the turquoise chairs outside the parlour are a good indication! It was difficult making up my mind on what combination to go for but in the end I went for a mini cone (perfect size for me) with oreo chocolate sauce and peanuts topping. It was a great combo however I found the mini cone cannot handle so much so it was falling apart and got quite messy! Next time, I will probably avoid any topping and stick to chocolate sauce only. Apart from that, I found it super delish and will definitely be back!!

La Diperie on the West Island is a "cool" and lovely addition to what they've been missing out on…read more As most of their locations are quite far for West Islanders. I'm glad and happy for the growing success of La Diperie. As the original owner once told me. We grew mainly because of social media(Mostly Instagram) and our loyal customers. The location on the West Island has the same tasty flavours and variety as the others. Which is lovely! However.. The ambiance, cleanliness, and staff is simply quite disappointing. The floors are dirty, I stepped on many sprinkles, globs of melted ice cream and a good layer of dust. The ambiance feels far too big and messy. Random things on the counter, again a small layer of dust, poor quality pain and dirty windows. Arrows out of light blue masking tape on the floor, which are slightly peeling off. Napkin dispenser almost empty, owner dragging a leaky trash bag across the store.. Yes, they've been open since July 1st, which is only a few days. Having said all this, details related to organization and cleanliness I think are very important! The location is around the corner from a poor looking strip mall, hard to find! Enjoying your ice cream outside becomes a unattractive challenge. Only four very uncomfortable chairs, facing a parking lot. As for the staff, they are kind and polite. Can't say much more. Overall, I do hope they succeed within time.
