The good: I tried a blossom's berry twirl and blue's boardwalk milkshake (both are flavors of the month). I like how they're always coming up with new flavors and how the temporary monthly flavor is always a little less baI liked the berry twirl more because it had a more subtle flavor. Both had fun chewy chunks inside. The berry twirl had long sprinkles. The order was made so quickly. I like how kid friendly the ice cream shop is and how they have readily available ice cream cakes of various flavors. They were always my favorite ice cream cakes. You can order custom ones with more flavor options online. You can get photo cakes too. The bad: The blue's boardwalk shake had a more artificial flavor. The interesting: Blue's boardwalk milkshake was purple. I don't know who blue and blossom are but they're cartoon characters that look like monsters. read more

I have wonderful childhood memories of going to 31 Flavors. The ice cream was creamy and rich tasting without a weird aftertaste. Just pure delight. Fast forward to a new century (lol) my experience was a bit different. Perhaps because I am more sensitive to ingredients (I know, ice cream is not super healthy, but if I can pronounce ALL the ingredients pretty much less than three syllables;) I'm good. i.e. milk, cream, vanilla, (ok, vanilla has three syllables) water, you get the idea. My body knows how to digest the ingredients. It's the other stuff my taste buds and digestive system struggles to handle. Having said alllllllll that 31 flavors seems to have changed their ingredients. I ordered mint chip and mocha. Believe me, when I share no cup filled with ice cream is safe left alone in my presence, I'm not exaggerating. The cup left with me... Safe!!! however, not a home run. Even though 31 didn't work for me, the business was packed with customers wearing smiles on their faces as they indulged in "childhood" memories. read more

Friendly and fast service and two nice tables to sit outside and people watch while enjoying your ice cream. The strawberry dragonfruit ice cream is very delicious with chocolate bits. It's an unnerving shade of bright pink though. Kind of reminds me of Pepto-Bismol, lol. read more

What can I say, their ice cream is really amazing! So creamy and fresh. As if they're waffle, it's not the best, but it's alright. If you love coffee and cherries, I would recommend getting Jubilee Cherries and Jamocha Almond Fudge. To DIE for! Prices are reasonable, but worth it. Customer service is really good as well. Would recommend others to try for yourself. Pros:Flavors are amazing and creamy as if it's homemade. Customer service is nice people, and clean environment. Con's: Price is reasonable, but could be better and the waffles low key taste like if you got them from the store instead of other ice cream places, but not bad. read more

This store has been a staple of palos verdes for as long as I can remember. So let's take a look at how they perform , shall we? 1- ambiance To be honest, it's a dump. It feels like it was built in 1970 and hasn't been updated since then. There's a worst for wear counter , a new menu board ..., but other aspects look so dated. I've seen better electrical wiring in Hanoi. The back area seems like an electrical nightmare. How does the fire department allow this ? The tables inside seem like an afterthought, the tables outside are unstable and sticky. This is not a place that welcomes you to come in and enjoy a hot fudge Sunday. 2- ice cream It's all scoops. No soft serve. And , Crikey, the price is eye watering. It's a weird nostalgia thing that I like this place. But, honestly, your better value for a cone is at the thrifty just a few paces away. 3- service Savage boredom. That's how I could best describe it. It seems like such a imposition on the staff for a customer to come in and order ice cream. "Don't they know that we are looking at our social feed !? " is the vibe I get ... Finally- so why do I go. This place is horrible , this kids that work here afternoons/night have such a bad attitude. Who raise kids that think is ok to throw the food ( ice cream ) or anything to another person . Every time is the same instead of just putting the cup in the counter they think is ok to throw . Sadly is the only baskin-robbins in the hill. I am so happy with the service I received when I purchased a photo image ice cream cake this week. The people at the store were very helpful in choosing which photo to use, and they were very good at communicating by email. When I finally picked up the cake, it looked fantastic. I've lived up in RPV for the last 8 years now. This baskin robbins has been here since and still is going strong. We've always loved the baskin Robbins flavors. But!!! The reason I'm writing this is because since day 1.... The owners have been very friendly, welcoming and courteous. This location so extremely clean as well! Aside the normal ice cream servings, this review in particular is towards their ice cream cakes! Such a great selection of ice cream cakes. Had exactly what we wanted on short notice and are able to write anything you want in the cake. We got the vanilla frosting and ice cream cake. What can I say... IT WAS DELICIOUS! Twice I went in here and dealt with two different people who worked there (I believe they were the owners) and had the same problem. I asked for a large cup of chocolate ice cream to go. Both times they had absolutely no idea what I was saying whatsoever. Literally I had to say it over 10 times before they still just vaguely finally understood what I was saying. I assure you I do not have a speech impediment. It's not like I'm even ordering anything out of the ordinary. Just chocolate ice cream. You would think that people who own an ice cream shop would be able to understand when someone says chocolate. read more

Ordered a cake online and the owner decided to take it upon herself to make modifications. The amount of food coloring they used for the cake was awful, I washed my hands twice and still couldn't get it off my fingertips. During these challenging times, I would love to support local businesses but I will never visit this business again. I'd rather drive to another location. read more

We've been buying ice cream cakes for the past few years for our kids birthdays from this location. They are fast and friendly. This year I called ahead to ask if they have a certain cake and they did and they even took down my happy birthday information over the phone so when I got there it was already done in the freezer. It was very nice and very quick. These days with covid I don't want to spend a whole lot of time inside places so the more we can do online or over the phone is very helpful for the consumer. The girls who work here are friendly but you can't see the ice cream in the case next to the window so you end up cheated out of the 31 flavors. They have a menu but its listed on the cooler and you have to squeeze in to see it. They don't give out the waffle cones with double scoops like they used to for free anymore. :( read more

Advertises non-dairy cookie dough ice cream but none in the store. Then when asked, she said it was seasonal.... yet they had the regular cookie dough in their display. Ummm, seasonal? So it's "seasonal" to have dairy-free cookie dough ice cream, in the summer, yet you can have dairy cookie dough, in the summer? All they had was generic sorbet like everyone else always has. What's with ice cream stores always offering 30 flavors with dairy and only one or two non-dairy flavors, and always sorbet never the fancy flavors like cookie dough or caramel or mint chocolate chip or Oreo cookie, etc. read more

This Baskin Robbins is located in the Peninsula center in the middle of rite aid and TJ Maxx. I've been going here for years, ever since I've been going to Peninsula High School. The staff is always friendly, My only complain is sometimes they run out of my favorite peanut butter and chocolate ice cream. Other than that this place is awesome, It's great for families, kids, adults, date nights.. You name it! Clean facility and great environment as well, I'll continue to be a loyal customer! read more

Usually like 31 flavors, but yesterday they had no malt powder and I was craving a malt. Tried a shake, but it didn't cut it. Tried again today and they still can't make a malt. So I'm heading to Ruby's. 31 Flavors needs to check their supplies more often. read more

I've been going here for years buying personalized birthday cakes. Bought a cake, (2)1 qt, a large milkshake, and a scoop of ice cream on the 31st of May. Wanted to use my $3 off $15 and cashier said I can't because today they have the special $1.50 a scoop so I can't use any other coupon. Told him if that's the case, I'll make two separately transactions since I have my fiancée and his mom with us. The kid at first look confused and said he doesn't know if that will work and just said no he can't do that. The least he can do is try!!!!! read more

There are several self-service machines (I think 5) that pump out frozen yogurt, frozen custard as well as gelato (10 different flavors). Each machine makes 2 flavors which are combineable in a swirl. The kids absolutely loved the cookie monster frozen yogurt swirled with...was it the vanilla custard? I had the triple chocolate low fat frozen yogurt and it was very tasty. They offer a ton of fresh and tasty looking toppings. I think this is family run and the friendly Mom, Dad and presumably their daughter were behind the counter. There are a few stools for sitting inside as well as quite a few tables outside (for when the weather is better...which is most of the time). I really like how they list the flavors on their website, too. I am so glad that we have frozen yogurt again on The Hill. We mourned Yummy Yogurt's (by the PV Mall) closing years ago and now we have two options, Neptune's in Malaga Cove and Lunada Creamery in Lunada Bay. May they both live long! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
