It makes sense why this store has only one and a 1/2 stars the gentleman "young" is probably the stupidest man I've met. I see that it is national ice cream week and when you spend $5 you get $15 off so I get down to the store I order enough to get me to $15 or more and I show him the coupon and he shakes his head and says that because hes not corporate he doesn't follow that promo. To which I responded when I go to Google and type in Baskin Robbins and click on the website that the address is Associated with it props up the promotion. Is he replied "no". So I proceed to let him know that I would like to change one of the orders because I'm not going to eat 3 scoops right away, he then took both items away and I ended up buying both. If I can give .5 star I would. We had an e-gift that the owner refused. Her excuse was it has to be on a phone and not printed, even though all the information is on the paper. The owner didn't even want to tell us in person. She left the counter and had her employees tell us. If you have other options, and I know there are plenty, stay away from this place. Their portions are also ridiculously smaller than other Baskin R. spots. I'm done with this place very disappointed, I love taking my kids out for a cold, tasty treat, but I now have to erase this location off the list. We got cheated out of our coupon. read more

Stopped here for a scoop of ice cream after receiving a birthday offer. Shop was clean and well lit. Located in a older shopping plaza that has a few other food offerings, mainly meal oriented. Plenty of ice cream flavors with a few that I have not seen before. Ended up getting three different flavors, all which tasted great. Offer a range of scoop options from kid's scoop and up. No restrooms so just a heads up there, but do offer a water fountain. There is a freezer with take home options of ice cream and even ice cream cake. Cold Stone appears to be more of a subway type of ice cream place with toppings being a selling point while Baskin is more focused on the ice cream. The glass windows overlooking state street is a nice touch and adds to the experience. Service staff were patient but did not offer flavor sampling, not sure if Baskin does that or not. read more

They try and be so slick with the coupons. I pulled up my app and I had a $2 off a pint and right before I checked out I made sure to ask her if this coupon APPLIED to my purchase and she said YES (the only reason why I made sure to double check is because this isn't the first time she's said yes to a coupon and lied to my face about it) she proceeds to check me out and I asked her AGAIN if it worked and she said "Yes" I then asked for the receipt she wanted to look at me and hesitate because she knew damn well. I then look at the receipt and believe it i didn't get my $2 off. So then I asked the older man there (guessing her husband) and I explained it to him and he said "oh the coupon doesn't work here" and she stands behind him shaking her head!! Very disappointing and disgusting. The husband and wife that served us and probably own the place did not wear gloves, hairnets and did not wash hands before serving multiple customers. The woman's hair was unkempt. The gentleman was handling a broom as we walked in and proceeded to serve us right away without washing hands or putting on gloves or using hand sanitizer at least. The two scoop cone that my wife got had a visible hair in it as it was handed to us, I pulled the hair out as the gentleman observed us and he did not say anything. I was naturally upset but because I was with my wife, niece and siste-in-law I did not want to make a scene. The husband and wife team do not seem to like their business. There were no smiles or warm greetings as we entered, there was no music playing. The look on their faces was like they were a living out a miserable, cursed existence. This Baskin Robins location Has been in Marysville since I was a child. I'm sure owned By multiple different franchies. We don't often come here but my mother took my two toddlers recently as a fun outting. My 4 year old got a chocolate cone and they sat there in the building at a table eating them cutely in their pajamas. My daughter accidentally dropped hers A couple min after and we brought it up to the worker. They saw what happened and made us buy a new one. I'm not saying that they should give away free ice cream. But it was an apparent accident and thought it would have been a nice thing to do When it was just a small child's cone. We ordered a three scoop sundae, and the ice cream scoops were no bigger than a small jawbreaker. We paid 10$ for a child's size in an adult cup. We told the male employee and he said it just looks that way because the ice cream is cold. After 22 years of living in Marysville, I will not be going back there, and highly recommend others to avoid too. read more

This was a very unpleasant experience! It appears to be a family owned place, and everyone was in the back when we came in. Once someone finally came up to help us he barely even said hello and was not friendly at all. We tried to use a Baskin Robbins coupon, and the server told us he had to check with the manager before coming back up and telling us that she wouldn't accept it. He couldn't give a good reason other than "she chooses not to take coupons". I didn't understand but couldn't really argue because the ice cream had already been dished up and there were people behind us. The serving sizes were also horrible. The Sundaes were filled well below the top of the cup and looked nothing like the pictures on the menu. The child servings were also terribly small. We spent $20 on ice cream for the family and were not happy at all. We will not be going to this location ever again, at least until it is under new ownership. This is standard Baskin-Robbins ice cream fare. The ice cream flavors are in a wide variety and include a number of classics such as Rocky Road, Caramel and Pralines, and Jamoca Almond Fudge. There was a significant lack of organic and all natural ice cream favors, but again that is to be expected from Baskin-Robbins. Unfortunately, that results in a star reduction. The interior is clean well lit, but a shelf in the take home rack was broken and precariously perched at an angle. The major wart on this store is the service. Unfortunately, this service was taciturn and unenthusiastic. It seemed like our party of five persons (three adults and two kids) was an unwelcome inconvenience to their day, rather than an appreciated part of doing business. Not sure what others were experiencing. We got great customer service on a 95 degree day in July. The shop was clean and we were helped promptly. The young lady at the counter was very patient with the customer who kept asking obvious questions like, "do you have sherbet?" When it suddenly got busy the owner came and helped. And it turned out to be chocolate chip cookie dough. So I ask if she will remake it and she started saying that I made a mistake. And I said no you made the mistake. And after trying to get her to remake it, I asked for a refund and she refused. And then I asked for the manager and she refused. She literally started screaming at me that it was all my fault. So I asked for a refund again, and she grabbed the receipt from me, gave me the money, and then threw it back at me. Literally threw the receipt at me. We had an awful experience here. We went out to celebrate a birthday and the employee had NO excitement and never once smiled. He couldn't recommend any flavors because he doesn't like ice cream. There is not a restroom for customers to use either. This location chooses not to accept Baskin Robins coupons and could care less how long their line gets.
