I don't even understand why they bother trying to sell ice cream. Maybe they are still open from the business they do from the Dunkin Donuts side of the business. My husband and I went in to get a hot fudge sundae. The guy behind the counter told us they didn't have any hot fudge. So, we opted to get two scoops of ice cream. However, the tags naming the ice creams they had available did not match the ice creams in the bin. I want to jamoca almond fudge and that was listed on the glass in front of the ice cream however, looking at the ice cream tub, it was clearly not to mocha almond fudge that was there. They did have the mocha almond fudge it was just in another area and labeled as gold medal ribbon. So, we located the flavors we wanted and we were then told that they didn't have any cups to hold two scoops and they would just have to put it in a beverage cup. We just shook our heads and I told him just to put two scoops on a cake cone. That's when he advised us they didn't have any cones either. And ice cream shop has no ice cream cones in stock. How do you stay in business if you don't have anything? And, how can you be completely out of so many things? This is your line of business. You should be fully stocked on everything you sell. I could see running out of one thing but this is numerous things they are completely out of. I thought about opting for a pre- packed quart sized ice cream but the freezer holding them was only fail to by about 1/3 and lacked in choices. My husband actually asked the kid behind the counter if they were going out of business. Why else would you have absolutely nothing and not bother restocking your stuff?
So, to summarize, this ice cream store had no ice cream cones, no cups for the ice cream, no hot fudge, very little pre-packed ice cream, and the ice cream available for sale was not what was listed on the glass in front of it.
We ended up down the street at the Dairy Queen instead. They had everything in stock that we asked for. read more
