Plenty of flavors, but my kid always goes for Oreo lol which he said was good. Inside it was very clean, several tables with chairs and one long window seat near the entrance. Baby girl and I needed a treat for this extremely hot day! So deciding to come to Baskin Robbins I think it's been a couple years since I have been here lol. Got baby girl 2 scoop cone cotton candy and vanilla and for me i got the Cappuccino Blast. Josh took our order nice guy, got our order pretty quickly. They have inside and outside seating. had a very unpleasant experience at this location. I ordered 3 scoops in a cup, and the female staff member who helped me at first was very nice and polite. However, the heavier Mexican male employee was extremely rude. When I asked for a cover, he said they didn't have any. I then asked for a larger cup, and he said no again. Finally, when I asked for a bag, he tossed it at me without any courtesy. He didn't say thank you or goodbye after I paid, and this isn't the first time I've had a negative experience with him. Ice cream scoops were small. I've never had such a small amount of ice cream at a Baskin Robbins before.

I usually enjoy coming here and the other staff are great, friendly and welcoming. But there's one heavy-set Hispanic guy with a glass who constantly kills the vibe. When a young lady was serving us, she was warm and generous with the scoops, until he gave her a look and suddenly the second scoop was half-filled like she got scared to serve properly. Then when I asked for a cover (which I've always gotten before), he jumped in just to tell me they 'don't have any.' Funny how that only happens when he's working. Finally, when I asked for a bag, he tossed it on the counter like he couldn't be bothered. If you hate the job and dislike customers that much, maybe it's time to move on. An ice cream shop should be welcoming and fun, not awkward and hostile. read more

Had dinner across the street and so we stopped by to share a double scoop of their February flavor of the month "Love Potion 31". My wife and I just love it and its going away soon so we stopped by and grabbed a scoop. The young man that took our order was very polite and nice and the place was very clean. Baskin Robbins is expensive but I love their Chocolate Mousse Royale and I can't get it anywhere else except for Baskin-Robbins. So when I want to treat myself, off to Baskin Robbin's I go! This is the only store that I know of in the area that consistently closes earlier than their sign indicates. The sign on the door says 9 o'clock. I approached the door at 8:52 and the door was locked. This has happened on MULTIPLE occasions; sometimes 15 minutes earlier than the closing time posted. It is frustrating to drive to a business to only have it be closed earlier than it is supposed to be. I have worked in several food locations and no matter how slow it was, we would always honor the closing time posted. Not this place. Walked in this past Saturday to purchase a Father's Day ice cream cake. The two ladies working were really friendly and offered to help us if we needed help finding a particular flavor. Ended up selecting a 6-8 person serving cake with cookies and cream ice cream and chocolate cake. It was a little misleading because the sticker price on the cake said $32.99 but it rang up for $34.99. Either way, the cake was delicious - only wish the layer of frosting was thinner. Since then I have been back three additional times, because of the service I received from Matthew. During my visits Matthew is always professional and personable. I am very particular when I order cakes as they are often a treat since they are a little pricey. However, when I receive great service I do not mind spending a little more. Clean, helpful, friendly, convenient. Every so often I have the desire to go get some ice cream.... the workers at this BR have always been so extremely polite and nice, striking up conversation and greeting me with a smile. This location is also very clean and the atmosphere is pleasant. There are so many novelty ice cream and frozen yogurt spots around but it's nice to have the good ol' classic when you need it. I cheers to this specific location because it is exceptionally great, even if I didn't live fairly close I would drive the extra mile to hit this spot over the others I've been to. This 4 stars rating is only for the mint chip ice cream cake. 5 stars for the customer service, but otherwise 2 stars for the ice cream overall. This BR is located in the plaza right next to downtown Brea and it's similar to all the other BR in terms of look and serving over priced ice cream. However If I'm looking to purchase a ice cream cake BR does it best. Oddly enough I don't care for the ice cream here but the ice cream cakes are just so good and in particular the mint chip ice cream cake and I don't even like mint chip ice cream generally. This location in particularly is centrally located which is important if you're transporting an ice cream cake on a hot day in May and the service is super friendly and efficient. More importantly compared to other BR locations I've been to the handwriting on the cake is super nice. I will definitely be back but only for a mint chip ice cream cake. read more

Last week I came in to redeem my free birthday scoop that was postponed almost a year due to covid. It was a free kid's scoop. I ordered the mom's cookies ice cream following a recommendation off one of the workers because I wanted something more unique that wasn't always there. The ice cream was very disappointing and I later realized I should have gone with something safer like Gold Medal Ribbon, Cookies & Cream, or Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough. The problem was many of the chocolate flavors were melted so I couldn't choose any those. A bit disappointed with the selection and quality of the ice cream.
