We couldn't be happier with our new basketball hoop! From start to finish, the entire experience was excellent. The installation was professional, efficient, and done with great attention to detail especially with the challenge of a sprinkler system. The hoop is perfectly level, incredibly sturdy, and looks fantastic in front of our home. The installers were friendly, knowledgeable, and took the time to make sure everything was done right. They left the area clean and made the whole process completely stress-free. If you're looking for a company that takes pride in their work and delivers outstanding results, I highly recommend them. My son is excited to enjoy this hoop for years to come. Thank you for an amazing job! read more

Harold has been kicking butt at this for at least ten years! How do I know? He installed our in-ground hoop in 2017 and was there this year to do repairs when a truck hit it. He responded same day, ordered the replacement parts and had the hoop back online in a week - so, efficient, helpful and courteous. Thanks Harold! read more

Stop looking -- you found the man for the job. Harold rocks. You've read in other reviews what sets him apart from the others: punctual, thoughtful, responsive, responsible, professional, honest character.... AND my favorite: thinking of potential issues I never would have, and suggesting solutions. Nothing that would cost me more money. Just an inner goodness that treated our job as if it was for his own backyard. Call him today read more

The old basketball post and hoop ,installed on a Tennessee court had rusted out. Bolts securing base were frozen on. They did not give up. Three days and lots penetrating oil, muscle and determination got them off and saved the base saving us some money. Great people to work with. High quality new post and backboard. Great to find a high quality , honest company. read more

Professional , fast and thorough, I would highly recommend Harold and his team for your install.

It was a pleasure dealing with Harold. He was prompt, neat, thorough and very accommodating. I thought his price was worth the service he provided. We went with the Bison All Conference. He set the post in concrete on a Wednesday and was back on Saturday after it cured to hang the backboard. The hoop came out great. I highly recommend Harold and Basketball Systems Plus. read more

I called Harold about a hoop, consulted with him twice and researched hoops based on his help. We agreed on a hoop and date for install. Harold was always responsive, on time and did a great job. A week after the install, I wanted to tweak the rim for my own personal preference, Harold came right back and helped. The whole experience could not have gone better. read more

After doing extensive research on my basketball hoop, I decided to hire Harold, owner of Basketball Systems Plus. I am very happy with my decision. I purchased a Goalrilla basketball system on Amazon, and Harold installed it. He was always very responsive to my calls and texts, and always showed up on time. The quality of his work was outstanding, and he always left the place immaculate. I would definitely recommend Harold to my family and friends. Top notch!!! read more

Harold Maccaferri, the owner of Basketball Systems Plus, personally manages his basketball hoop installations from start to finish. From the moment I contacted him, he kept me informed of the timeline involved. He inspected the site and offered suggestions and considerations which hadn't occurred to me. He is courteous, professional and prompt. He obviously puts a lot of thought into getting it just right for the needs of individual customers. Even after the installation, he offered to come over and lower the hoop since the players are very small right now. I was very pleased with the whole experience. read more

We had a great experience with Harold. I contacted him after reading all of the positive reviews on Yelp and I wasn't disappointed. He was super responsive, professional and up front with everything. We had our basketball hoop picked out, installed and ready to use within 2 weeks of me initially contacting Harold. The kids love the new Bison hoop. Highly recommend!!! read more

We had a terrific experience with Harold, who owns Basketball Systems Plus. He was timely, efficient and professional. It took a little over one week from our initial phone call to get the hole dug, cement poured and cured and Goalrilla basketball hoop installed. Was an easy and pleasant experience and I would not hesitate for a second to hire Harold again. Very highly recommend. read more

First let me start by saying that I personally do not have a basketball system from Basketball Systems Plus. I am a good friend of Harold and know first hand that he is the most conscientious individual on the planet. He does not cut corners and stands by his work. You will not be disappointed with any job he does for you...and he guarantees that. read more

We purchased a bball hoop from Basketball Systems Plus. Prior to purchasing I called Harold twice. He was extremely patient and explained the process to me and the options. The installation was done in an efficient, timely manner as indicated it would be. The hoop quality is outstanding (wouldn't expect anything different from Harold!) and was installed exceptionally well at a reasonable price. I can't say enough nice things about Harold-what a great, honest, professional guy and company! Would not hesitate to recommend him and the company to anyone who would like to install a hoop! read more

I contacted Harold in early March about coming to install a hoop at our home. He was on vacation and called us the same day to set up a time to check in when he returned home. Wow, what service, eh? He was clear, responsive and followed through on every plan he set with us (even if that meant rescheduling due to April 1st snow!). We've got a hoop in the ground and it's really great. The quality of the hoops is very good and Harold and his team were courteous and efficient throughout the installation of the post and then the hoop one week later. Already recommending to family.... read more

A contractor backed into my basketball backboard and bent the support arms. I contacted Harold after getting burned by Mr. Hoop in Wellesley (who took my money, never came back, never answered my messages). Harold was great! He had me text him several pictures of the damage, then he came by to look at it himself when he was in the area. (I'm pretty far from Plymouth.) He ordered all the parts, never asked me for a deposit, and kept me updated all the way. Very knowledgeable and professional. He showed up this morning exactly when he said he would and fixed the hoop perfectly. Couldn't be happier. Should've gone with Harold in the first place! read more

Harold had us as one of his first installs of the Spring in April of 2018. We had an already purchased Goalrilla CV60 to be installed. Harold came out with his assistant Steve and these guys knew their stuff and did such a great job. They installed the pole anchor on the first visit and several days later came back on a predetermined day to set the rest of it up after the anchor dried in the concrete. These guys are impeccable with their work and they cleanup every single piece of trash like they're doing work at their own home. Harold and Steve really seem to care about their workmanship and really pay attention to detail. Great correspondence with Harold and there was no waiting around for them to come out. I highly recommend Harold to install your basketball hoop he's a great guy and really cares about your satisfaction. read more

Harold did a fantastic job installing an adjustable height hoop (and guiding me through the different options). He and Travis were not only responsive and conscientious (taking their time to dig down slowly so as not to hit any water or gas lines), but also super friendly to our kids who wanted to watch the whole install process. They did a great job, and we couldn't be happier with the end result. read more

I found about Harold Maccaferri on Yelp, when someone who was dissatisfied with a local installer of basketball systems recommended Harold as a better alternative. On that basis, I contacted him. Even though his main business is installing in-ground basketball systems, he is available for repair of portable systems, which was my need. He promptly came out to my home to diagnose the problem, made recommendations for repair and selection of the correct replacement parts, and then followed up with text messaging to be sure that the parts had arrived. He reliably showed up as scheduled and performed the repair properly. I found him to be knowledgable, personable and very professional, and I am happy with his work. read more
