I do love a Basilico pizza! They make very nice thin crust pizzas in their wood fired oven but I do think they are somewhat overpriced.

This is the first time I've come to this Byron, but I've been to several before. I've even been to…read morethis particular restaurant space before back when it was under the management of a different chain. The staff here were very polite and good natured, a real credit to the company and management. As for the food - I adore the courgette fries and onion rings at Byron and these were no exception. The burger itself was next week's special - we had a voucher to get it a week earlier - it was spectacular. Literally the best burger I've ever had from a Byron. All in all, it was a good experience coming here and I'd happily be a return customer in the future.

Classic Byron burgers FTW!…read more I like a burger that doesn't have too much "stuff". Byron is excellent, they use a perfect amount of tomato and lettuce so that you can still enjoy the tasty burger patty, and leave the condiments up to you at the table. The bun itself is a good size too, it isn't so huge that you have to get through a lot of bread to get to the burger, hate it when that happens! The patty itself is best when you ask for medium in my opinion, the medium rare is too soft and doesn't have enough flavour. The home-made skin on chips are delicious and far superior to the regular french fries here. The courgette fries are also yummy and taste like lightly done tempura. The macaroni and cheese here is decent but the burger is the star. Surprisingly, the house salad is fresh and perfect! It comes with rocket leaves and cherry tomato halves and a great balsamic vinaigrette dressing. I have tried some of the other burger variations, the cheese burger, the veggie burger, and the special greek lamb burger offer, but none of them beats the classic. Byron is a good place to grab a burger anytime.

I don't think I'd have ever tried out Chop'd if it wasn't for the event Qype did last night. I…read moredon't work in town and honestly, salad can be mostly uninspiring. But Chop'd was different. Everything we tried was fresh and tasty and there were some really unusually fillings - lots of fancy deli stuff to choose from. Most of the salads come in under a fiver which is a bargain as the portions are huge. I might have to load mine up with a pasta of potato base, but if you're watching what you eat this is a great snacky option. And of course, if you pop down there in the next two weeks, you'll get to try out Qyper Mseasons' salad - she won the salad making competition and her salad will be on sale for everyone to try! Well worth popping into, even if it's not the first place you'd think of for lunch.

Salad munchers, dieters and despairing general eaters of Baker Street/Bond Street area... REJOICE!…read more There is a flipping chop'd inside selfridges food court!!! This has mainly delighted me due to trying several local salad chains to my office and missing my daily chop'd. Anyone wondering what this elusive chop'd is of which I speak? It's in essence a salad fast food chain which serves up salads made to order as you go along choosing the delights you want in your salad. Today I had lettuce, pasta, red onion, tomato, sweetcorn and ham, with a fat free dressing called sesame soy. It was delicious, as I knew it would be, because Chop'd is consistently good quality ingredients. They aren't stingy on the contents either, mine was fully loaded with all the good stuff. This chop'd branch is smaller than most, but the queue was comparitvely small (the one in spitalfields used to be about 50 deep sometimes). They have most ingredients that the big stores have, and the staff are nice. Thank god. Salad harassment via Yelp over now I've found my BFF Chop'd again.

I love, love the choices this place offers - you can create your own salad, selecting the protein,…read morethe veggies, the deli items and even the base. It's an ideal place for anyone on a detox, people following a diet or just people who like choice, this place has everything. You pay for what you get and at 5.19 for a medium salad seems a little overpriced, but it's definitely nice for the occasionally treat. If you're not in Paddington, it's a chain and so many tossed a branches can be sampled in London. Finally, my recommendation if you do check this place out is the peanut butter protein smoothie, it's simply divine. For any non protein shake fans, this will definitely change your mind. Nom nom!

I love tossed. Like seriously, I love it…read more This is exactly the kind of food I eat at home, I especially love the little box of spinach and tuna, so I am very excited about having a place where I can grab a lunch very similar to what I would have made myself, but without actually having to make it! They do salads, customised if you wish, smoothies, juices, fruit pots, yoghurt, soya custards... It is a bit expensive to be honest, but I do not mind spending an extra pound or two on food that I know is organic and not chemically processed. The bad part about this place is that there are no tables (well maybe two) as this place is all about take away, so don't come here for an eat in lunch.
