We ordered asparagus with butter and fried fish with spinach and tartar sauce. The ingredients were fresh but nothing too special. The pasta is AMAZING!! I got the tagliatelle with lamb ragu. The lamb is so soft it melts in your mouth and the pasta sauce is spot on. My friend ordered spaghetti with Mediterranean seafood. She said it was really good as well but the clams weren't cleaned well since she could still taste the grit. Other than that I would say it is one of the best pasta places I've been to. The ambiance is classy & noisy. No need to dress up or anything. Most of the customers seems to be regulars around the area. Definitely £££ so it's a bit pricy!!

Enjoyed a very lovely dinner here last night with a couple friends…read more The atmosphere was great with the Classic Italian family feel to it- welcoming and professional without feeling too formal. The decor was great as well, clean and crisp with the piano music adding to the vibe. For my main, I had the tagliatelle with scampi, artichoke and tomato. The dish, though beautifully presented, I felt lacked a bit of flavour- think it needed a hit of citrus or some pepper? Dessert was very tasty, though not the best creme brûlée I've had- taste was there but my sugar crust was not so crunchy in places, could have used a few more minutes under the grill. Our wine was superb! Great selection in a range of price points. 4 stars for great service, ambiance, and a lovely meal with fantastic wine!

I haven't physically been to the restaurant, but we ordered from them the other evening when a group of friends came over unannounced. We were all very impressed. Pizzerias are a dime a dozen in London. What (we collectively felt) separated Oregano from the boys was the depth of flavour they pack into their pizzas, the thin, light crust of their pizzas and the speed of delivery. FYI, there's a dedicated app for even faster ordering / delivery. We ordered the Quattro Stagioni (four seasons pizza), Pepperoni, Vegetarian, Chicken Pesto, American and Tuna. All were fantastic but I personally liked the Tuna most, having never had a pizza with tuna before, or any kind of fish for that matter (anchovies don't count). Unless there was a hardcore, non-dairy vegetarian in our group, I would probably replace the Vegetarian with a Quattro Formaggi next time. The leftovers passed the morning after tests with flying colours too. Oregano is well worth a visit, take away or home delivery. Hey! I'll save you details on my first experience with British pizza, some 20 years back, in Manchester…read more Let's just posit that, as a general rule, I wasn't anticipating a good pie in the United Kingdom, period. Franco Manca blew away my terribly low expectations and managed to rank up there with some of the better pizza I've ever enjoyed. A few basics, first. Lovely restaurant, much larger than it appears, good for groups in the back. The streamlined menu and seasonal specials amount to the selection of your average food truck: pizza, salads and sides, with great options for vegans/vegetarians, but you're here for pizza, that's your mission. Naturally, the beer/wine menu is simple as well, I enjoyed the Montepulciano. The crust on these sourdough pies are worthy of big smiles, soft and stretchy, a Neapolitan consistency. And because I could, I did: Described by our server as the "carb monster", I ordered the #3, simply because I really wanted to experience a pizza loaded with stilton cheese, potatoes and lamb sausage. And no, it wasn't great, but it wasn't bad, and it completely wiped away a terrible memory, 20 years back, of Manchester.

How ever today was different, the food was good but the staff were so so so loud, in the kitchen they were playing separate music from their phone mixing with the music playing in the over head speakers. The restaurant was empty, I was the only one there with my dad. somehow I still felt very over stimulated as the staff gathered close to our table and were also talking very loud, banging pizza boxes against the counter, being so loud when making coffee and cleaning the coffee grounds from the machine it made a loud banging noise. I found the whole experience unprofessional as I have worked in a restaurant similar to franco manca and I was always instructed to be more quiet when working. I don't usually post reviews of a restaurant but maybe I thought this could help them in the future!

I sat outside under their canopy in the evening, when a few passing showers went by. I enjoyed the cool weather, by preference. A comfortable sidewalk table. I decided to try the Fruitti Del Mar pizza, as I was looking for something French (not here), then maybe risotto, and eventually settling on this concoction. I like shellfish, like clams, mussels, squid, shrimp, and so forth, and I like Margherita pizza, so why not a Fruitti Del Mar pizza? So, I'm not sure I get the concept of a pizza with these shells on it, other than it looked cool. But I initially took all the seafood out of their shells, and then ate the pizza like a pizza. In the end, I still am not sure I get the concept of this pizza, but I like shellfish and it was all cooked correctly, and I like a Margherita pizza, and the pizza was great. In fact, they use fresh Mozzarella cheese, which means you will have a wet pizza. However, a soggy crust in the middle of the pizza is a small price to pay for the fabulous taste of fresh Mozzarella. All things considered, I will come back here, but I'll try the risotto next time. I'm in.
