I wanted this headband, it was beautiful. As I took it to the girl, she walked over, took the tag out of my hand, set it on top of a spinning rack and told me I was wrong. She said the piece was $14.50, there was not another there, and she did not take the time to look up the item in her computer, had she looked she would have seen that it was in fact $8.50. I am very disappointed in her lack of salesmanship. Oh well, I found the headband online and now it is buy one get one free. Last time I will go to that Claires.

The nursery area had only a small selection of plants and was mostly empty, so not sure if that part of the business is in transition at the moment. While I tend to prefer the simplicity of the 1837 collection, it was interesting to find the item as the cuff is no longer carried as part of the Atlas line. It was more than a little frustrating that it took me telling my husband that the bracelet matches my watch before the woman working in the store bothered to acknowledge us. We left. I told my husband I was considering purchasing the cuff as a birthday present for myself...but couldn't imagine spending my money in a location who took one look at my husband and myself and decided we couldn't afford anything in the store.

We hit Leroy's Ski & Snowboard Shop afterwards to get more oxygen! It is worth every penny. Especially if you are a "flat-lander" planning on going up the mountain and doing physical exercise (skiing, snowboarding, hiking, etc). This is a must for anyone with the altitude change. This ski shop has everything you need for outdoor sports/ activities. Any gear you need, you will find here. They sell keychains and other merchandise too.
