This review is mainly for the facility, pickleball courts, and playing conditions…read more I came here to play league pickleball as a guest of one of the club's members. The Rancho Santa Fe Tennis Club is a private membership-only club (for people who live in the community). The facility is beautiful (with great clubhouse and accommodations) but dated. They do have a nice golf course and tennis courts. There are 4 Pickleball courts to accommodate the latest craze and demands. The courts are nice/clean but need to be resurfaced. There were a few small cracks/holes on some courts. Too bad that they don't have lights due to the strict ordinance in the area. Very hard to play at twilight. Also, half of the courts have shadows due to the surrounding trees which makes it hard to see the ball when it travels from light to shadow. Overall, l was not impressed with the playing condition but was happy that our team got the dub.

This review is for Ted - a literal human angel…read more Ted, the park attendant in the RV in the corner of the lot, rescued a dog that I had lost while dogsitting for the first time for some new friends. When I arrived at his RV after the owner told me Kemba had been found there, Kemba was sitting in his lap, recieving some calming pats on her head after a very stressful last 90 minutes of wandering away and being found shivering in a bathroom stall. On top of the stress and frustration at myself for allowing that to happen, I comforted by Ted's warmth towards her upon her discovery, and by his warm, sincerely helpful demeanor that he demonstrated while explaining the story to me - the embarrassed and stressed dog sitter who had made a mistake. I so appreciate Ted's presence at Cottonwood Park. He said he helps with a lot of conflict resolutions in the parking lot, which I really respect, because I used to do conflict resolution for over 4 years in courts and interpersonally. I didn't tell him that, but I felt his grounded, service-oriented presence and quiet contributions that he likely makes to everyone who passes through. Thanks so much for your help - and for helping Kemba, who is now snuggled up next to my leg under a blanket

Fallbrook youth baseball field and Ingold sports park is always confusing, and it is hard to find…read more You have to search for Ingold sports park. They both are same, unfortunately but little apart with in a big field and not walkable. This is a large sports complex with small parking spots. No restrooms available but found a porta potty. Great for kids and for the spectators. Beautiful drive tho this field, make sure you know where you are going before you leave, tricky to find thia spot. 4 fields, nicely maintained with dirt and real grass. Good luck finding it.

My husband made a turn into the field and the cars coming out refused to move over to let us get by. Later I realized how terrified they must've felt as the road is a dead drop down the cliff. The roads are narrow and dangerous. People actually pay dues and fees to this park??? It's a crying shame that parking is the way it is. I'm not lying when I say we almost had a brawl in this park as we were all gridlocked down there near the Pinto field. People trying to get out and us trying to park for a game. We were all stuck! Everybody honking at each other to get out of the way and yet it was impossible to maneuver. We were crammed in this park like sardines! I think there is a dead end and everybody trying to turn back and head out. The fields have no shade where we were. The area is just something out of a movie from the 60's. So dated and dirty. Outhouses were stinky ! That's for sure how they should be but it smelled like it hadn't been dumped in ages. I hope we never ever have another game in Fallbrook! It was horrible! Murrieta Pony and Fallbrook Pony fields must be owned by the same people. No money has been put into these fields in ages! 9/29/19 visit to this ball park. I suggest the owners of this field invest a little money in renovating and giving our kids a safe clean and fun experience. Right now, it's a sham!

I arrived there by 8am and the soccer field was occupied by some teens playing flag football. I shot some baskets which only had 2 basketball courts. While on the court I did notice a minivan (older red Toyota Sienna) that was already parked in a corner when I arrived. When I was done shooting baskets, I put the basketball inside my car and decided to walk around the soccer field. A man opened the sliding door of the minivan and began smoking. I didn't see anyone else in the van but was suspicious. The soccer field had turf and was well maintained as the park did not allow any dogs on the field. As I began walking, there were several children arriving to play at the playground. The restrooms were very well maintained as well. Nice and clean park.

Having been to a number of clubs, the seating for parents here was great and, while there was construction going on, it was possible to watch the girls practice on most of the courts. My concern is with situations like Coach Sydney working privately with certain players and then those same players appearing to receive more attention or an advantage when teams are being formed. When a coach is bringing players from her private sessions into her own team, it naturally raises questions about fairness and possible conflicts of interest. If players or parents begin to feel that private training relationships can influence team placement, then it becomes difficult to trust the tryout process or the club as a whole. I respect the club and the work many of your coaches are doing. I simply believe every player should have the same opportunity and should be evaluated fairly based on ability, effort, attitude, and performance--not based on whether they have previously paid for private sessions with a particular coach. I hope the club takes this concern seriously because trust and fairness are extremely important to parents and players.
